I wanted to make a withdrawal of N12k from my gT app from a POS vendor
She called her account number and said ‘PALMPAY ‘
I didn’t capture that and thought she said OPAY
I punched the account number on my app and it brought a name
I called the name to the vendor and she confirmed it’s her name .
I sent N12k to the OPAY account and waited for her to confirm from her account
I waited for over 1hour and she said she didn’t see any money
I showed her my app showing the transaction was successful , it was there she saw I sent to OPAY and not PALMPAY
Question is , how was the transaction successful when she said she does not have an account with OPAY?
I called GT out on Twitter and they ran through my account and they said the transaction was truly successful .
Where did N12k go when the account does not even exist in the first place ?

The money is in the POS operator's opay account. Let him/her sign in to opay with that number.

Yes. This experience changes my view on miracle. I was this kind of guy who doesn't believe in miracle. I saw miracle as scam .
My sister was suffering from chronic ulcer. She was taken to several hospital. She used different medicines n local herbs, yet, no solution. The pain was too much that we thought she was going to die.
My sister in kano had to invite her to a church program in Kano. Believe me, her case was mentioned by the pastor and she started manifesting in the congregation. She was healed by God through the pastor. It has been 3years now, the pain is gone!

It’s their job as marketers to find ways into convincing people to write reviews. It is not the consumers’ fault, all they did was buy the product. There was no incentive to leave a review. I bet if the sellers attached a 100 NGN giveaway to people who dropped reviews things will change.

We still ship. Shipping now is once a week. Only normal shipping. Express and Triweekly is not working now. Normal takes 10 to 14days but with the situation on ground it might take longer. There is limited flight

Personally I don't believe in saturation. You can just carve out a niche for yourself *(say professional writer for different industry...fashion design, real estate, beauty, fitness etc) . Also, be VERY exceptional at what you do. You will make it bro.

As a graphics designer... I work with both. My laptop for all designs. My mobile phone for Upwork mobile app to chat with clients, bid for jobs and to ensure that I am always online..

I will advice you to get a PC if you want to learn skill like graphics design, web development, digital marketing though.

Say u want to learn how to design Business card. A simple search of "how to design business card" on YouTube. You will see a lot world class video tutorial on that.

I didn’t take any action until late 2018 and up till date I have made over $6000 working on Upwork as a Nigerian. Though it is not a lot of money but it has made a big difference in my life.
Key take away
One thing I have learnt working on Upwork is that you have to carve out a SPECIFIC NICHE for yourself to succeed quickly. On my Upwork profile you will find “banner ad designer “ and I have done over 60 jobs relating to banner ads design only.
If you are looking for way to make money on Upwork, I would like you to go through this thread too. Take actions, keeping bidding for jobs and you will really make it.
