omenka: It really irks me whenever I see him kneel down genuflecting in front of cameras all in a bid to sway overly sentimental and clueless christian voters. They would see such pics and go: Oh!! He's righteous and God sent!!!

Sometimes I wish Nigerians could just peel off this guy's surface and see who truely lies beneath.

PoliticsRe: PDP Has Institutionalised Corruption – Buhari by Itoroetti(m): 11:39am On Nov 08, 2013
Easyfren: I don't support corruption but is there any corruption greater than the act of staging a military coup to overthrow a legitimate civilian government? Nigerians may forget so fast but they are very knowledgeable in history. Buhari was part of Sani Abach's government judged by many as the most corrupt government in Nigeria's history. Buhari should rather be begging Nigerians for forgiveness instead of nursing any political ambition. Those who celebrate him are either kids or adults who are blindly partisan or lack good knowledge of Nigerian history. Or is Tinibu he is dining with a man whose hands are not stained with corruption? Again why is he wooing 'corrupt' PDP governors? Buhari is not the man to rescue Nigeria.
God bless u

Lawyer indeed!
Music/RadioI’d give anything to work with Jesse Jags, 2face – Eva Alordiah by Itoroetti(op): 6:23pm On Nov 06, 2013
Barely few years after she ventured into the
Nigerian music terrain, this scintillating singer is
gradually moving up. The Delta state born,
rapper, Eva Alordiah, a.k.a, Eva, in this
revealing interview, talks about her love for
dogs and rats; her challenges as a female rapper
and other personal issues.
My name is Eva Alordiah, I am an Isoko girl
from Delta state. I am from a very simple
Christian family, I am a lover of animals. I am a
Computer Science graduate. I have always
loved music and I think doing music now will
not be a surprise especially, to my parents. This
is something I have always loved. I am also, a
professional make- up artiste.
I have
my own
make-
up outfit
here in
Lagos. I
am
currently doing music and make- up together. I
wanted to be an animator because of my love
for cartoons. I also love to draw and that was
why I studied Computer Science. What I really
wanted to do was computer animation but the
course was not in any Nigerian University
curriculum.
So, I decided to start with a first degree in
Computer Science, hoping to move on from
there to study Computer Animation abroad. I
am still in love with that and it is something I
would do at a later stage of my life. Right now,
the part of me that likes to draw, I have
converted it to make- up artistry. You know it is
all about drawing and painting. I have not
dropped any album yet but I have dropped a
free tape last year because, my fans wanted that.
I am seriously working on my first full album.
I just finished working with Femi Kuti and
Darey Art-Alade. I chose music because, music
is life. Working with Femi Kuti was a
wonderful experience. He is an amazing friend.
We were friends for a while before we even
thought of working together. Connecting with
somebody from that lineage is very imperative. I
think Femi Kuti is such a great mentor to have.
My going into music could be said to be
because of my mother. She was an amazing
singer. She used to sing a lot when we were
growing up. She had so many musical tapes.
My mother was a good fan of Bob Marley,
Michael Jackson, amongst others. I would say
that my musical life really started from my
mother. I am also a writer.
When I started writing music, it was just fun. I
am currently a writer for a couple of
magazines. I am also a fashion designer because
my mother taught me how to do so when I was
growing up. I know how to draw, I do make
up. I love music, I love to dance and perform. I
love to do anything that is creative.
Coping with other female artistes in the industry
will never be a problem to me because, I am a
different person and they are all different
people, and we are all called to do different
things. I have never felt like I’m competing
with any body because everybody has his/her
own part to perform. My name and my style are
unique. My name is not their name and their
names are not my name. I do music my own
way , likewise everybody. The fact that I don’t
do what they do makes me unique.
Talking about my looks, everything goes to my
mother. She is a nurse and she brought us up
very healthy. I have always maintained a strict
diet and exercise. I work- out and exercise a lot.
I drink a lot of water. I don’t stress myself
because I don’t think there is any need to worry
in life. I also trust in God so much because I
know there is nothing too big for God to do. I
try as much as possible to maintain a very close
relationship with God. You know, once in a
while, we fall but I try as much as possible to
still maintain a closer relationship with God.
I think everything that happened to me in the
industry, has a reason. I don’t think there is
anything that has happened to me that I regret.
Everything that happened helped me to grow up
to the person that I am now.
The major challenge in promoting a song I
would say is finance. There is no money
anywhere. I have to fend for myself for
sometime now. Being a woman that wants to
survive in the industry has many challenges. I
have some personal challenges. There is no
inspiration anywhere. When you let yourself
lose focus because of this, then the challenges
come in.
I have gotten to a point where I felt like, I was
not doing music any more. There are some
artistes I could ‘kill’ to work with; like, Jesse
Jags and 2face. I will also like to work with
Sade Adu because I just feel like we can
connect on a bigger level. That is not just on the
barest minimum of music. Music that can grow
a new generation. I will like to grow my music.

If quitting football is the only guarantee to live, you better quit now.

Remember those that died like marc-vivien foe and samuel okparaji, what has become of them now? what has been used to reward them?

Remember Fabrice Muamba that cheated death, see how he is being rewarded by bolton.

There are more to life than football and there are many more routes to success and prosperity other than football.

I understand you have the talent but have to relent not like being somnolent by an indolent without benevolent during the lent.

HealthTummy Still Look Pregnant After Childbirth? Here’s Why by Itoroetti(op): 8:58am On Oct 13, 2013
Does your tummy still look pregnant, even though
you had your baby months ago? Is your post
pregnancy belly not squidgy, or jelly-belly like, but
rather hard + protruding, as if you were 5 months
pregnant again?
This could be due to a condition known as diastasis
recti. But other factors could also be causing it…
This can be more confusing when the rest of your
body is relatively lean or slim, but the mummy tummy
hasn’t gone away. It doesn’t *feel* like excess fat,
because it’s firm + sticks out, literally like when you
were pregnant.
Sometimes it gets worse throughout the day, getting
bigger at the end of the day or after a big meal.
Bottom line, you’re fed up with being asked when
the next one’s due, + can’t understand why the rest
of your body has pretty much ‘gone back’, but the
belly is still a BIG problem.
OK, well there are a few factors which could be
contributing:
FOOD
Firstly, + this applies especially if your belly seems to
get bigger throughout the day, or if you feel bloated
or uncomfortable after eating: there could be excess
sugar in your diet, +/or you could have developed an
intolerance to certain foods. All of these will cause
swelling + bloating, as undigested food in your
intestine is literally ‘pushing’ your stomach outwards.
Cut out processed foods, including sugar, + try cutting
out wheat + dairy as well for a few weeks. None of
these foods are necessary for healthy diet so you
won’t come to any harm by removing them for a
while! And try to monitor when it feels worse. Very
often women complain of bloating which varies
throughout the day – if this is the case for you, then
your muscles are not to blame, this is a food and/or
digestive issue
Clean up your diet as much as you can, drink plenty of
water + herbal teas to encourage digestion + eat
plenty of fibre in the form of whole fruits +
vegetables, high quality protein with every meal +
limited carbs, such as wholegrain rice, quinoa, rye,
oats + spelt (Note: the last 3 grains on this list contain
gluten… you may be intolerant to all gluten containing
foods, so if the problems persist, you may need to go
totally gluten free).
But sugar is the place to start… it may well be all you
need to cut out, to see a dramatic difference + to
make you feel a whole lot more comfortable.
ALIGNMENT
Second possible cause is your posture, or more
correctly, your alignment. The posture of pregnancy +
mothering doesn’t do the profile of our tummies any
favours! Imagine your pelvis is a bowl of water, which
you have to keep upright to stop the water spilling… If
you are over-arching your back OR tucking your
tailbone underneath you, then your pelvis is not
optimally aligned, + the outward pressure on the
rectus muscle (the one that splits with a diastasis) as
well as the downward pressure on your pelvic floor, is
increased. It also further weakens your transverse
muscle, the important one to strengthen to get a flat
tummy.
INCORRECT CORE EXERCISES
Thirdly, you may be ‘exercising your core’, but it is
possible to go through the motions of these exercises
without engaging the transverse muscle correctly.
The key is what your lower abdomen looks like as you
do them. Does it bulge out at all? If so, you are
unknowingly increasing intra-abdominal pressure +
training the muscles to push outward still further. You
may be ‘bearing down’ or pushing (yes, this relates to
your pelvic floor muscles too!) when you want to be
achieving the opposite. When you engage your
transverse muscles correctly, the lower abdomen
should hollow inwards as the muscle contracts.
DIASTASIS RECTI
And the fourth factor is of course, diastasis recti…
plenty more on diastasis recti here.
LASTLY…
A bloated, painful + swollen abdomen CAN be a sign of
something very serious like ovarian cancer – this is not
to scare you, but simply to say that there’s no harm in
getting checked out if you’re really concerned.
Remember this is much less likely, + the above are
much more likely causes.
I hope this helps! Are YOU fed up with being asked
when the next one’s due?
