Having a PGDE is absolutely unnecessary for one to impart requisite knowledge to students. The key thing is RESEARCH and any teacher who regularly carries out researches in a field would impart more knowledge in that field regardless he/she has a PGDE.

The ignorant one here is the one who did notice that the filling station was NOT a government project but and private venture - the governor was invited only to commission it.

Furthermore, the additional 200 new jobs created at the station his no doubt a positive Development, which would go a long way towards addressing the unemployment problem in the state - only pained ones would think otherwise.

Every country has a right to develop its own policy; Nigeria has decided for itself to insist on those involved in teaching must have basic qualification in education, to ensure such persons can actually impart their acquired knowledge to their students - I personally don't see anything wrong with the rationale; especially as most professions have similar requirements.

It is a fundamental requirement for teachers to have basic qualification in education; it is one thing to be knowledgeable and quite another to have the requisite skills to impart it - PGDE seems to address that problem and hence mandatory for all educationists.

Buhari did not write the constitution nor the judges who were guided by it in their judgement today.
Only those who are not truly educated and intellectually sound will continue to insist that the president did not the minimum requirement as provided by the law.
Reno Omokri is being wilfully ignorant and intellectually dishonest to suggest that the judges may have erred in their ruling - simply because he (as usual) backed the wrong horse.

Go and read the constitutional provision of the law; you not need a certificate to stand for any elective office, all you need to have is to have attained secondary school level of education or its equivalent to the satisfaction of INEC.

Most candidates voluntarily attach copies of their credentials with their applications as proof of their claims - but it is not mandatory by law.

Buhari has already more than enough proof to show he had met the minimum requirement and above - all previous presidents; Obasanjo and GEJ (with enough clout to have pursued that line) knew the truth and that it was quite futile and ridiculous to attempt it; only Atiku (who is being serially scammed by his lawyers) and his gullible followers continue to still believe in that futility.
