Stop exposing your chronic lack of comprehension; you keep harping about Debt to GDP ratio; yet neither the minister (in the article) nor I (in my posts) made reference to it.

I repeat; despite what may seem like a disagreement in opinion, the crux of concern of both the minister and the CBN was our seemingly low REVENUE capacity to service/offset our debt.

Go back and brush up on your comprehension.

After insulting them finish; see how they are honouring the Serial Igbo Pussy Hunter and Tribal Bigot, Femi Fani-Kayode.

FFK said that "The Igbos are collectively unlettered, uncouth, uncultured, unrestrained and crude in all their ways…Money and the acquisition of wealth is their sole objective and purpose in life".

And you sir are incorrigible to the point of stupidity for insisting on advertising your abysmal comprehension.

I challenge you to comb through all my posts and show me where I mentioned debt to GDP ratio - you will find none whatsoever.

Therefore do not put words into my mouth; what I mentioned was the SIZE (i.e quantum amount) not the Debt to GDP ratio.

The minister in her speech, expressed less concern on our debt profile (whether in terms of our debt to GDP ratio or any other permutation; because it was less important) but on our (low level) REVENUE.

In other words; the amount of your debt is not as important as having the capacity to pay back, in terms of the income i.e. REVENUE you are generating - to at least service and eventually pay off the debt.

The minister was clearly worried that we as country were not generating enough revenue; which was more or less what the CBN was saying - there was therefore no clash between them; except in their expressed perspective of the same problem - one being less pessimistic than the other.

Kindly therefore endeavour to read more carefully and understand the issue before you to rush to comment - this is how many of you fail JAMB (and blame it on the village witch) because many never bother to read let alone understand the question before as always rushing to the wrong conclusion.

The advice is free; next time make sure you use it.

Just as I thought; can't address the issue raised, therefore resorting to insults and evasive tactics.

My friend, it's a matter of simple comprehension and common sense; go back a read what the minister said (even though she didn't elaborate on her point like CBN did); you do not even need to have a specialist knowledge on the subject matter to understand they were saying and arrive at the conclusion that both said the same thing - though I am beginning to appreciate that not everyone is blessed with basic comprehension.

Come on you’re less dafter than this. Ur hero was talking debt, which is really not her specialty. CBN actually lectured her on debt, which is their specialty
OK, Mr. Know it All, what is her speciality that excludes her as an experienced and qualified accountant from speaking on the issue of our national debt (notwithstanding fact that the minister of finance is 1st member on the list of the economic team and therefore privy to all the facts about the economy) and also what gives the CBN the monopoly of opinion on the subject matter at the exclusion of others?

Pls back up your claim with evidence.

STF.. They were saying different things . The willfully ignorant minister was saying the size of man’s household...should be used to determine his credit worthiness while the knowledgeable banker was saying that the man’s income should be considered given the fact servicing of his existing loan is based on his income not the size of his household.. GOT it?
Some ppl make themselves wilfully ignorant!

What do you think she was referring to by the word REVENUE - which in your case you correctly substituted with the word INCOME?

Get off your high horse and stop being rude.

Quota system minister of finance.
How can Nigeria's huge debt not be a problem?

You want to borrow this country to death?
If you had applied more sense to the issue rather than your prejudice perhaps you might have noticed that both were more or less saying the same thing.

If you look past through the long grammar and figures the other side were posting; then you would see that real issue of concern (like the minister said) is not the actual size of our debt but the (lower than desired) REVENUE we are generating.

The only difference between them is their choice of words: it's like comparing the statements 'the cup is half full' against 'the cup is half empty' - both effectively being the same thing but viewed from different perspectives; one being optimistic while the other is pessimistic.

Thankfully, there is no shame in poverty - even Jesus was poor and came from a poor family.

We are quite happy to remain poor so long as we do not have to compromise our dignity and moral values - unlike some who could gladly sell their own children or even love-vendor their mothers for money.

What the FG dispelled was the execution.

The Saudi government arrested 23 yoruba moslem drug peddlers in 2016 and charged them to court. They were found quilty and convicted (sentenced) in 2019.

They are awaiting execution till September.

The FG didn't deny the conviction. They only dispelled the execution is not even due.

Read aboki na.
Ok; so how does that diminish the culpability of your fraudulent Blodas under FBI detention and another 20 (out of 21) on death row awaiting execution in Thailand?
