He wasn't the only one to pay herdsmen; governors Ortom of Benue and of Obiano of Anambra both also did the same. Recently the case of a herdsman whose 57 cattle were killed and 50 rustled, was reported to me and paid N10million and even up till today we have not apprehended the youths behind the attack, but if we see them we will arrest them. But we had to pay just to allow peace to reign because if they come for reprisals those youths who did the evil will not be there. Read more at: https://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/03/paid-herdsman-n10m-gov-ortom/ https://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/03/paid-herdsman-n10m-gov-ortom/ The Anambra state governor, Chief Willie Obiano, has paid compensation for about 70 cows to herdsmen. The cows were allegedly killed by a host community of Umumbo in Ayamelum Local Government Area of the state. http://punchng.com/obiano-pays-70-cows-appease-herdsmen/ |
Even though they didn't name them, we can easily guess the kind of ppl behind the shipment. |
RadicallyBlunt:How did you know he wasn't a thief and indeed a drug addict as alleged; since the issue did not seem to be in contention? |
progress69:OP forgot to mention how he sent police to disrupt the aggrieved G-7 governors meeting led by Kwankwaso at Kano State govt lodge in Abuja. http://thewillnigeria.com/news/abuja-police-disrupts-new-pdp-meeting-at-kano-governors-lodge/ See also the Video here. https://www.abusidiqu.com/video-police-dpo-interruted-g-7-governors-meeting-abuja-watch/ |
And they are all PDP; what would you have expected from those who were directly benefiting from Jonathan's long service spoon of corruption; especially now that feeding spoon can no longer reach their greedy mouths. |
They will hate you for telling them the truth. PDP are using their powerful paid corrupt media to brainwash Nigerians that this administration is all about witch hunting. As the Bishop correctly said; even if it were true let them prosecute the ones they can; let another administration come after the ones the they didn't pursue - at the end of the day it shouldn't really matter because eventually all the looters will be caught and Nigerians better for it. |
poseidon12:Provide tangible proof otherwise; look into the mirror and you would see the naive one. |
From the picture you can easily deduce that the taxi driver is a northerner; had he committed a crime or any wrong doing that would have been the cue for the children of hate to start insulting his tribe, region and religion; however, as this one is a very commendable act; just notice how they have conveniently detached his action away from his other mentioned attributes. |
obaival:Pls leave us out of this one; can't you see that the matter is purely internal between members within the same family - let them scam themselves, no wahala. |
More blows and hypertension to the Shildren of hate ![]() |
Lies from pits of hell; there is no way the Nigerian Army with its multi ethnic and multi religious composition partake in such conspiracy; it is just not possible; even if it were, it is bound to leak out because there is equally likely to be at least one person among soldiers who disagrees. Lastly, common sense would also ask why; what could be the motive; what could the NA or the supposed individuals involved gain from such dastardly act? |
SLIMDON88:You have just sent many ppl into hyperventilation and high blood pressure - watch out before they come after you ![]() |
tytunji29:Then you must be living on an entirely different planet because most of us can remember the difference between then and now: when Boko Haram conquered many LGAs and declared their own republic out of Nigerian territory, they were also sacking our military formations and capturing their weapons, many of the soldiers were further running awol and mutinying as a result of lack of good arms and proper equipment; meanwhile there were soldiers in many of our towns and cities manning multiple check points; ppl were constantly afraid and being checked at shop/church/mosque entrances etc with metal detectors, there were regular bombings right up the capital city of Abuja - haba, stop playing the ostrich; though you are entitled to your opinion; but we all know differently. |
PrecisionFx:Pls go and borrow sense or don't bother to quote me again please. |
tytunji29:Pls shut up, you sit there in Lagos behind the anonymous screen of the internet and down play what we in the north went through - we felt and know the difference that PMB brought us and shall be ever grateful to him; we also shall never forget nor forgive that clueless buffoon GEJ who left us exposed to Boko Haram while he and his cronies shared the money meant to fight them. . |

The intellectually lazy lack the capacity of rational thought and argument; they therefore often resort to borrowing i.e. copying and pasting words that don't belong to them. |
JideAmuGiaka:Insults is the bane of intellectually lazy Bastards with access to the internet - God punish them ![]() |
PrecisionFx:Of course you wouldn't read beyond the level of your short sighted bigotry otherwise you might realise the truth that PMB has been far more effective against Boko Haram than the last clueless excuse for a president; who would rather call them his siblings than send the Army to wipe them out. |
seguno2:The intellectually lazy are prone to selective memory which often require to be assisted with earlier provided information. Here is what Goodluck said about why he was soft on Boko Haram.

An example of the intellectual lazy. |
Ekoishome:How does that silly notion make our borders porous - pls explain? |
Nonsense! |
PrecisionFx:Please receive sense; so we should blame a man who inherited a problem that predated him and reduced it to a minimum against another who ignored and allowed it to get out of hand with silly excuses such as Boko Haram are my siblings while he and his cronnies looted the same money meant to fight them. Remember under the last administration, Boko Haram conquered large portions of Nigerian territory, while over running military posts and capturing their tanks and weapons, resulting in mutinies and desertion among our soldiers; but under the current president these are all in the past - yet you still have the audacity to blame him for stating an obvious fact which in any case had already been repeated earlier before by no other person than one of his present fanatical critics - what kind of brain do you possess pls?. |
Under normal circumstances one would expect when a man makes an allegation, especially as weighty as that of Danjuma, that he should be asked to substantiate such allegation; but what we have is a roundabout way to avoid challenging this sacred cow. I strongly recommend that he should be asked to prove to Nigerians how the army was colluding with the herdsmen; the matter must not be allowed to be swept under the carpet in order to give him a soft landing. Quite on the contrary the likes of Danjuma and the governor are unhappy with army because it promptly intervened to stop their well planned ethnic cleansing genocide against the Fulani in Taraba State - anyone who needs proof should click 'Taraba genocide in Youtube'' to see the evidence for himself,it is all there. Danjuma is also unhappy with PMB because the president had stopped automatic renewal of oil bloc allocations - we can therefore easily understand his frustration with this administration for blocking the steady inflow of more petrodollar into his account.

debaj10:Even the USA with all her sophisticated technology cannot keep the Mexicans out; that is why Trump as a last resort is proposing building a wall across the southern American border - talk less of our over stretched borders that are not surprisingly as porous as a fishing net. Your comments represent an unfortunate growing number of young ppl who are sadly easily swayed by tribal/religious sentiments than common sense. Just admit you hate this president and therefore among those who the OP was talking about i.e. who thrive on twisting and misrepresenting nearly everything he does or says. |
So civil service na family business for relatives to inherit - what level of corrupt mindset! |
lastmessenger:Check your words and note how they were being punctuated by I, my & me - all about you and your personal opinion; wgich obviously cannot br greater than mine. BTW; if truly believe in destiny (in the real sense) then you should know that all had already been ordained and fixed by God. |
lastmessenger:No one is stopping him from testing his popularity nor you from practising what you peach by vying for the house of Rep in your own home state; however, some of us can easily distinguish between a hopeful and a completely non-starter - much like your relatively unknown candidate, declaring for the presidency at the 11th hour without a solid party structure against a proven an tested incumbent with much more resources at his disposal. Well at the end of day; I'll be entitled to my opinion just as much as you will be entitled believe your fairy tale/miracle. |
A featherweight of no consequence - he just going through the motion but will not get anywhere. |
One of the dangers of being too critical and saying too much is that one day you will say something that would eventually come back and haunt you. |
