3.As of 31 March 2017, 99.25% of 597,464 villages in India are electrified

and finally for a country of large size with varied climate, geography and some amount of human mismanagement , there will be impact on final distribution to the end users. Inadequate last mile connectivity is the main problem due to human mismanagement , local political interference , dynamic factors like climate / terrain , but the fact remains that the idling generation capacity of Indian power plants can supply three times the domestic electricity needs (nearly 80 billion KWh) of the people who do not have access to electricity due to the above reasons.

supplying electricity to 1.2 billion people spread over 3,287,263 square km (7th largest country) over mountains plains deserts snow bound regions jungles etc is no joke .

unless you or the country of whom you are a citizen has done better, u don't have the right or the audacity to demean/slander the achievements of other countries.
