Seun: I just received the pictures below which show Bola Tinubu and Prof Yemi Osinbajo greeting and hugging each other as the vice president received the elder statesman in Aso villa. This seems to contradict the reports of a rift between them. Osinbajo is President come 2023. This I have seen |

abbey621: Nobody gives a flip about Tinubu being president or not, what's more important is getting the right person there, you clowns are busy focusing on religion and abandoning competency yet turn around when it bites you in the ass. It's what gave us GEJ, it gave us Buhari and if the trend continues, it will surely give us another clown in office. What's the point of Osibanjo when he has no power or balls to effect positive changes for Christians especially those being terrorized? What's the point of Buhari when more Muslims have been killed under his watch than any other democratically elected president in Nigeria?
You can continue using the excuse of religion to cover up failure or you can become enlightened and realize the system is not working, voting based on religion is the hallmark of inept societies, afterall our leaders are reflections of our mindset. Buhari's failure is your failure, your parents' failure and your community's failure. Sumus qui sumus(We are what we are)! You are deceiving yourself. In every geopolitical zone and every religious group, there exists a competent individual. If marginalisation is your definition of providing us competent leaders, then you're a big hypocrite |

To solve the problem, exit NAIJA .... Form oduduwa republica... E no hard. Tinubu should sha prepare to select a north Christian as Vice. No need for long talk |

Pls let's stop over-heating the polity unnecessarily. This is not 1992. Times have changed. A Muslim-Muslim ticket is actually what would overheat the polity. Be calming down. If Tinubu wants to contest, he can pick any Northern Christian as Vice. Or are you saying no competent northern Christian exists? |

You're the insensitive one, in advanced societies competency usually outweighs sentiments, so you mean to those middle belters they would rather choose a clueless Christian president over an competent Islamic one? No wonder things keep falling apart......Stop clowning! You are the one that should stop clowning. If a southern Muslim wants the presidency, he would have no choice than to pick a northern Christian as Vice. Or are you trying to tell us that no competent northern Christian is available for the position of Vice President? Let your love for Tinubu not make you become blind. You see those SWAGA,UNGA campaigning for Tinubu just wants to have their own share of national cake . Leave them to keep their hopes up. I've always said it, Tinubu's biggest presidential challenge is his Vice. His presidency is dead on arrival. He will lose massively in the north if he fields a northern Christian |

Deadlytruth: I would that you prove that position wrong with facts. Please visit Obaseki's Facebook page and see for yourself that those currently denouncing, insulting and cursing him are those who campaigned for him under Sun and rain chanting Ogbane and Towargba. I guess they are Tinubu's lovers too yet they campaigned for Ogbane, right? The truth is that within just 10 months Obaseki's campaign gimmick has been exposed for the monumental lie it was and those who fell for it can't now forgive themselves while those who saw through the facade back then aren't even complaining right now. My point: no Buharist has a moral right to even discuss Obaseki's failures. Oshiomhole that you're indirectly trying to hail, rained curses on Obaseki's opposition and contributed to his woes at the polls. Obaseki was once a very good boy to Oshiomhole. So, stop crying here. Politics in naija has NEVER been about the people; whether state level or federal level. Accept this and know peace |
Politics › Re: Edo PDP Suspends Obaseki, Shaibu’s Loyalists by ityP(m): 1:32pm On Oct 26, 2021 |
Deadlytruth: This is not about Buhari. We all know that choices on presidential elections in Nigeria are not about issues but about the need to prosecute political vendetta or prove the point that no tribe owns Nigeria hence people would not mind voting for the obviously less promising candidate to prove that point. We saw it happen when in 1993 the current SE voted for Tofa against the obviously better MKO just to spite Yorubas and how the Old Rivers State (Now Bayelsa and Rivers) gave Tofa a whooping 66% in that election out of loyalty to their NRC in pursuit of what they felt was a better deal for them at the center rather than what was better for the generality of Nigerians. Also, the people of the present SE and SS voted in 1999 for Obasanjo who had failed as military HOS, and again voted for him in 2003 which was just 3 years after he ordered the genocide in Odi town located in their own SS region....all in a bid to spite Yorubas. And mind you that Yorubas even voted massively against this same Buhari in 2011 in the interest of Jonathan who obviously appeared better then, but in 2015 had to vote Buhari to prove a point to Jonathan.
But, at the states level, elections are less about political vendetta and more about germane issues hence you can't compare it with federal elections. Lol. More excuses loading |
