Hello everyone, please like roughly how long after the passport tracker gets to passport in production did you get your passport?Biometrics was September 1 and need the passport soon

Please is it allowed for one's sister to come into the UK and leave the UK with one's child?
My 5 year old is in Nigeria for the time being due to some reasons (has a dependent visa), my sister is coming on a visit visa for an exam so want them to come together and stay about a month, they will leave together again after the visit. How do they navigate the journey without issues please?

I'm sorry if my comment came off as discrediting the thread and advise shared. That was not the intention. I didn't advise anyone to go same path cos as I had mentioned earlier what worked for A might be the main reason B will be refused. I know it could have easily gone the other way.

The bank she uses was liquidated about when we needed the bank statement, no access to the bank and she does not have online banking to get a statement from.

Silent follower of the thread. Goes to show this visit visa thing one size cannot fit all situation at all. What one person will do and get the visa another will find it is the main reason they were not given

I could not follow some of the advice given here due to a situation that arose near application time that we could not get mum's bank statement after we had kept it clean for months. Applied for mum as unemployed instead of petty trader and without attaching her bank statement and we got the visa. All the best to everyone waiting.

An advice after training your female child through school, tell her to throw away her dreams and certificate and go be an housewife for a man. Or better still don't train her through school, does she really need education to give birth to children and stay home? Paid jobs have no glory.

Being a stay home mom doesn't mean you will nurture your children well. I have an uncle who married a lazy woman, lazy being that she doesn't care for work at all. She can't even wash her own undies talk more take care of children well, a married woman with with female children will openly display pornographic videos. The highest no of teenage pregnancy cases I see around me have housewives as the mothers. The most important thing is the values and morals you lay in your children right from childhood. And we have lots of mothers at the apex of their careers nurturing and taking good care of their homes and children and equally producing brilliant children. My mum and grandma being great examples.


It's hypocrisy when we all know what you want is for a woman to be like a rag to a man, one he can decide to do whatever he wish to. Makes me remember a man that asked his wife (a principal in one of the federal Colleges in Nig) to quit her job unknown to her he was planning to marry another wife, thank God she saw past his selfishness, he wld have rendered her dependent on him so he can toss her however he likes..Now she has her own school, big one and is doing well. I'av seen men who ask their wives not to work supposedly to take care of children make those wives suffer and even the children. They want her at the mercies of their selfish tendencies. Even if a woman sits home all day, a man with no self control will still cheat, they'll just bring pregnancy come meet her for house.

If you don't want career women, good. There.are lots of women out there.who don't mind being housewives.

I don't understand why some men start foaming from the mouth when they hear feminism. Yet they'll all come out proudly to name their mum's profession, and contributions to the Society, how did women get to that stage is not through feminism. I say, thank God for feminism. Good and bad is relative. But I see a lot of good in it. Feminism has come a long way and had helped women get to where they are today and not just trophies with no dreams and aspirations, it gave us the female lawyers, doctors, scientists , etc, gave women the right to vote and be heard. A woman can chose to be a housewife or a career woman, she can live the life of her dreams, she is exposed to education, has the right to make choice about who she marries and her marital life and many more.

But personally I think feminism has come a long way already and has achieved more than enough goodness for women and their generation and the need is already waning. Both genders are physically different from each other and have differing roles and responsibilities each as important as the other, so let's all play our own part and roles.
