This is confidential, some senior officers almost lost their job this year self cos they want to take over and influence the guys in charge of the recruitment.

You were not worried because there's no imminent change of government in sight.

Now this government has less than 6 months to go. If this recruitment isn't concluded before the new government, we should all forget about it.

Getting a upright man like Ali to continue the recruitment on merit is very very difficult in this country of ours.

I didn't finish typing. I mean even cbt that suppose to take them not more than a week ideally, took them almost two months.


But here, they need to respect quota, prioritise between candidates that passed all the test, check for medicals, etc. Look for approval, have board meeting and all that.

It is not easy and might take a while. But if they are actively working on it, they might be done in two months.
