Ibime but isn't diaspora remittance enough to cover our genuine forex needs. I just feel like the naira is manipulated. Remittances alone is around $23 billion annually and there are other sources. Putting all the sources together all we need is a clean system of putting genuine buyers and sellers together without speculators manipulating the market. That is when demand and supply can genuinely take effect.

The last time BDCs were allowed to operate, they were largely involved in rountripping creating a bottomless pit the CBN could not fill. Same reason why their licenses were suspended.

Why Central Bank does not have enough to forward to NNPC is another question

Whatever it is, it's only plaster on a gaping wound. Slowly but surely Dollar will find it's way to N2k with some minor bumps on the way due to Central Bank interventions

An analyst on radio station said it is the excessive spending of buhari administration financed by cbn and budget deficiency to the tune of 10 trillion. That it has nothing to do with import as our import/export is balanced.
