The Blood Moon Appears Today - What Do you Need To Know About It?

A lunar eclipse will be visible over much of the Earth on July 27, 2018. At least part of the eclipse will be visible in all major land areas except North and Central America, with totality visible in the the Middle East, India, parts of central Asia and eastern and southern Africa.
When will The Blood Moon (Lunar Eclipse) Begin?

The eclipse will start 1:14 p.m. EDT (17:14 Universal Time, or UTC), with the moon fully eclipsed between 3:30 p.m. and 5:13 p.m. EDT (19:30 and 21:13 UTC). It will end at 7:28 p.m. EDT (23:28 UTC).
When Does A Lunar Eclipse Occur?

A lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes through the Earth's shadow on the opposite side of the Earth from the Sun.
What is Special About Today's Eclipse - Blood Moon?

What is special about this particular eclipse is that it will change the color of the moon to a reddish color. It will be the longest eclipse of the 21st century. The longest in 100 years!

For about half the world, the moon will be partly or fully in Earth's shadow from 1:14 p.m. to 7:28 p.m. ET — six hours and 14 minutes in all. The period of complete eclipse — known as "totality," when the moon appears darkest — will last from 3:30 p.m. to 5:13 p.m. ET. "Totality will last for 103 minutes, making it the longest eclipse of the 21st century!" said the Royal Astronomical Society in London.

BLOOD MOON ANALYSIS

At the same time that the longest "blood moon" in history is happening, Mars will be only 35.9 million miles from Earth. According to experts, this is the closest that the "red planet" has been to Earth in 15 years.

A petition to ban Reverend Funke Adejumo was sent to me yesterday and I could not stop laughing. When would our so called Christians desist from further dividing the body of Christ? If we are busy winning souls for Christ, we won’t have the opportunity to sign silly petitions. In any case, you have to prove the criminality of her alleged acts and the accusers have to show their faces to defend the petition. After that, they risked being sued (if they have anything of worth) for defamation of character, libel and slander. One of these days some of the people posting unfounded allegations online will go to jail when a vindictive victim decides to hold them by the jugular.

My wife and I had the privilege of hosting Pastor Funke Adejumo in our church last May. First, some stupid people wrote to her that she should not attend our church and she called me from Nigeria to tell me. I laughed and she gladly accepted our invitation. We had a good time and she is a very humble woman. Until you meet people and deal with them in person, you cannot join others to condemn them. She did not make any demands and she only ate the food we cooked for her. She was too easy to entertain. We even invited her for dinner at home but she opted to remain in her hotel room to pray.

She teaches women to honour their husbands according to the word of God. She also motivates them to add value. We loved her and we did not ask her to raise money. As a pastor, I lead my congregation and I do not need validation from any ‘international speaker’. I do not need to bring any fundraiser. But, I also understand that many can preach but with no testimonies of note. She speaks a lot of sense and motivates millions of women around the world to rise up and be counted. She does a lot of charitable work, raised her children well, is a grandmother and supports her husband well. There is no one that is perfect and I am also not perfect. You my readers are also not perfect. We are all striving to attain perfection. Let us stop this gospel of condemnation.

It is wrong to just rise up and say they should ban someone from entering the UK. No pastor or true child of God should support a movement like that. What have they done to people like Dr. Mike Murdock, Benny Hinn and other notable preachers? Have they banned them or is it because she is a woman?

I by the grace of God does not need the validation from any man. Promotion belongs to God. You can be validated by man and be rejected by God. I know that too well. As a result of that, I have no alliance with any man or woman. I have no alliance with any ministry. I lead my ministry with the faithful members God gave me to lead. With the few, we bought our church building and paid it off without any godfathers. I do not rely on godfathers and fundraisers. A true ministry will never lack resources. God is the fundraiser.

Let every one know that if you sign petitions, you will have to defend it and point out the criminal act that was perpetrated. You will have to prove that those who donated funds were coerced and forced against their will. You will have to prove many things. This is UK not Africa. As a lawyer I know that very well.

You will have to be a British citizen or a UK resident to create or sign a petition. Most of the people currently signing petitions may not even have the right to be here. Why are you saying they should ban someone from entering the UK? It is wrong and it is sad that some pastors are joining them. Some pastors are sending indirect messages but what have they achieved in their own ministry? Most of these is jealousy and envy. Some have become Facebook champions.

Finally, this does not advance the gospel and we are only playing into the hands of unbelievers and disgruntled elements in churches. Islam is rising and we are busy biting each other, God is in control and he will fight for his church and his true servants. Who is a true servant of God? We cannot say as only God the righteous judge knows.

For all of us who have eyes that can see, Nigeria requires divine intervention urgently to avert the looming catastrophe hanging over this nation.

A flood of evil is determined against this nation by the powers of darkness, but God forbid that we be found sleeping lest sudden mischief come upon us as a unaware.

Remember, in the days of Noah while people went about eating and drinking, getting married, and giving in marriage, building houses, planting vineyards and so forth, they did not know when suddenly the flood CAME and flushed them all away Remember. May the days of Noah not repeat itself in our days. – Mat. 24:37-38.

From scriptures, we understand that every time we are besieged by the forces of evil and mapped out for destruction, we are required to turn to the Lord in prayer and fasting to secure our desired victory.

There is a place for congregational prayer and fasting in winning the war against out nation – Ezr. 8:21-23/ 2 Chr. 7:12-14

For example, Judah in the days of Jehoshaphat was besieged by the armies of Moab, Ammon and Mount Seir, each of which was stronger than Judah. But King Jehoshaphat proclaimed a fast and God took over their battle, while the armies of the three nations that stood against Judah helped to destroy one another to the point that not ONE of them escaped. - 2Chr. 20:2-7/22-24

You will recall that the disciples of Christ once asked Him why they could not cast out a particular demon and Jesus answering said, “This kind goes not out but by prayer and fasting” – Mat. 17:19-21

Obviously, there are certain situations we are confronted with as the body of Christ that may never give way except by prayer and fasting - Jer. 6:16-17/ Heb. 6:12

Therefore, from Monday July 23rd to Sunday July 29, 2018, every of our congregations shall be engaging in a 7-day of prayer and fasting, for the rescue of the soul of Nigeria.
We shall have Two hours intercessory prayer in the morning and one hour in the evening. Senior citizens, retirees and those who run their private businesses, including all those on the line for gainful employment can take advantage of the morning session to intercede for our great nation. Time: 8-10am and 5-6pm respectively.

But we must also understand that in most cases, until vengeance is executed upon the wicked, the wicked may never give up, hence we shall be praying vengeance prayers upon the enemies of this nation and the church of Christ among others – Psa. 94:1/ Isa. 61:2-3/ Isa. 63:4

We must expect answers to all our prayers all through these 7 days of prayer and fasting, because we serve a prayer answering God – Isa. 58:6/ Mat. 7:7-8/ Jam. 1:6-7

In conclusion, we should all expect our open rewards in return for our faithful engagement all through the course of this prayer and fasting season, both as individuals and as congregations
