Good Morning House,

What is your take on steam washing your car engine, is it still advisable, and if not what are the other options, to ensuring the engine is clean from dirt.
I am about to change my car alternator and i suspect from the little online research that i have done, that using high pressured steam washer could be a likely culprit. Your opinion would be appreciated.

source: http://www.eyesoflagos.com/2018/05/beware-female-residents-are-not-allowed.html

The female residents in Ikorodu community, Lagos Mainland, has been asked to stay indoors on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, by the traditional leaders in the community due to the annual Oro festival scheduled to hold same day.
Eyes Of Lagos gathered that, In a letter signed by the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Oba Kabir Shotobi, and addressed to the chairman of the management boards of the Ikorodu town hall the monarch said female residents should stay indoors and avoid moving around the community to ensure the peaceful celebration of the annual festival.
“This is to notify you of the above-mentioned festival which is slated for Tuesday, 8 May 2018, according to tradition all females are forbidden to be seen outside their homes or move around the town on this date which is Oro Day,” the letter read.
The monarch added that: “Your cooperation towards the success of the festival will be appreciated. Thank you in anticipation and God bless.”
Over the years, the traditional festival has been celebrated twice every year with only the male residents allowed to move freely across different parts of the community.
During the festival, females stay indoors as oral history has it that Oro must not be seen by women and non-participating people

Both ain't ideal for this biz, look for better alternative

.

i had assumed that a car with a 1.6 litres fuel consumption would be a great advantage, in helping the driver achieve his/her weekly earning target, so why is it not ideal for this biz, i thought low fuel mileage would always be a critical success factor for biz of this nature.

You mean a corolla 2001 with 1.6 litres would not be a good deal for drivers to use for uber services... i would appreciate your reason(s), thank you.

Tomorrow, taxify will tell me not to ask destination. May Godwin's soul rest in peace

How does asking destination solve the problem... the killers can easily give a false destination or change their destination upon entering your vehicle.
Taxify and uber should subject riders to the same measure of checks drivers/partners are subjected to.

Hello all. I'm an uber partner driving my own car. I don't seem to be making much money weekly. So I'm officially tired. Wanna sell the car self. I'm using an Honda 2007. Do you guys make more money on both apps. Cos I'm on uber exclusively

How much do you make weekly because if it is your own car then i can not see any reason for you not to make enough money for yourself.

Hello guys, pls I am here to ask this question and I need honest opinions.

I am planning to get my first car this week and I can't find sleep.

Reason is I am unable to decide on the car I want.

I have thoughts for Honda accord 05 (eod) i4 or 06 DC i4.

The question is which one is the best option to run uber with and what is the relative difference btw their v6 types in terms of fuel consumption and maintenance?

Thank you all for the lessons learnt on here over time.

God bless all our handwork.

i still dont understand all this propaganda Sh*t. Humanitarian this and that, as if they dont know where the problem is. All they do is travelling to remote and impoverished areas, be forming helping Africa, whereas they know who their leaders are, where all the African wealth and resources are deposited. If they really have any form of real humanity at heart, they should stop aiding and abetting looted resources, and repatriate all the looted ones. And also, if they can place sanctions and invade tyrant leaders, why not do the same by the cutting all bilateral ties, stop the lending and funding if the basic amenities are not met.

if only people knew who the real thieves are, the ones that have been using puppet leaders to continue looting the continent and using the crumbs left to form NGO and humanitarian Sh*t. The looting that has started since time immemorial to date. People say its conspiracy theory, but how can there be 53 resources blessed countries in Africa and non of them could stand shoulders to shoulders with the Europeans despite all the natural resources except the only one they still control (South Africa which is just the white controlled areas). And the only one that rubbed shoulders with them is currently in turmoil. The most blessed among all(Congo) with all the natural resources u can think of cannot boast of a peaceful society. Are u telling me that there are 1.216 Billion dumb and docile people living in Africa??...

Even in Nigeria, that we start asking questions from these buffoon leaders, thats when different factions start springing up, Arewa, Biafra, Niger Delta, oduduwa, forgetting the rule of the game that states "Divide and Conquer". United, we stand and Divided, we fall... Perhaps the leaders have learnt from their masters using the same old game... Divide them, Impoverish them and control them with the same wealth u stole from them...

I think you made some valid points... bill gates should help us focus on the root of the problem "BAD LEADERSHIP IN AFRICA"... he can deploy his enormous wealth to create technologies that makes it virtually impossible for African leaders to cheat on election date... once Africans start getting credible leadership from free and fair elections, it will lead to good governance, accountability and respect for the rule of law. This would ensure a more egalitarian society. Even Bill gate would soon find out that he would need to spend less aids on humanitarian efforts in Africa.

Invest 50% in treasury bills, the other 50% 1. you can buy 2 cars (N3m) for uber services; most importantly ensure you invest in things that can bring in daily income. the balance 2m you can invest in a car wash biz. ... my thoughts.
