@ humblemate my ideal partner would be someone who is intelligent, and loves talking about anything under the sun for hours on end with me. this ideal partner is honest, loving, caring, and has no problem with telling me how much they appreciate me. if i am sick, this ideal partner would care for me, and make sure i get well. this ideal partner will share my love of travel, and will be with me every step of the way. this ideal partner will have a big heart, and would gladly join me in volunteering to help the unfortunate. i can go on and on until this box is filled, but my ideal partner is basically someone who is deeply in love with me, and shares some of my traits (but not too many). while external qualities in a person are very important, whats inside of them means so much more to me. |

@ pweety4me happy new year. i dont quite understand the meaning of this thread. are you trying to ask why older people flirt with youngsters here, or are you trying to say you can't relate with the older people here? ![]() |
@ akebulan lol, you're right, its not a love song. i just love listening to it while thinking about someone. i love jill scott and erykah badu!! i will have to watch your posts in this thread, our music tastes might be similar. ![]() some songs i've listened to since my last post: mary j blige - seven days: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtsmlfP6BUg&feature=related swv - rain: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hY7UG3BFilA aaliyah - four page letter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9eq9GnR4E4 erykah badu - next lifetime: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxITI3A2KWA floetry - say yes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-umWLHSEOs&feature=fvw |

a friend recently enlightened me by exposing me to r&b music from the 1990s, and in my opinion, some of the best love songs ever made were made in that musical era. ![]() deangelo - brown sugar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtZWO3HgRdA |
hey nairalanders, before i start i want to wish every single one of you a happy new year. music is something that i cant imagine going without, and when i am not busy with something i am always listening to it. i particularly enjoy love songs, and current my itunes library is a testament to that. the objective of this thread is for everyone to share whatever love song they are listening to at the moment, and provide a sample if possible. through this we'll be able to discover new love songs to enjoy and add them into our music libraries. enjoy! ![]() |
@ frijos thats a great list, be without you by mary j blige is also one of my favorite songs. i love the r&b from the 1990s decade. here are a few more of my favorites:floetry - say yes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-umWLHSEOs&feature=fvw swv - rain: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hY7UG3BFilA aaliyah - 4 page letter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9eq9GnR4E4 tony toni tone - anniversery: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbwwvk9ggvY ashanti - baby: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gueqEXi9W4A&feature=PlayList&p=89BFA19F57A534E5&index=0&playnext=1 jill scott - cross my mind: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlo8TJYZHqM&feature=related deangelo - brown sugar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=veIzt-vEnNM mary j blige: seven days: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtsmlfP6BUg&feature=related |
@ elecktra my top turnoff would be bad hygiene, because i honestly cannot deal with someone who does not know how to properly take care of themselves. second would be attitude/outlook on others. if you always have a bad attitude and/or feel that you are in the moral position to look down on others, i will find you very unattractive regardless of your external qualities. |
@ mama-gee maybe the man was a bit musty due to enthusiastic worshiping? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7Box-ES4Jw im a nigerian man, and i know for a fact i dont have unpleasant body odor. the nigerian men who i come into contact with at my college dont either, in fact they are professionals at drowning themselves in cologne before class. ![]() |
@ Akebulan my apologies, i honestly do not know why i assumed that you were male. whatever sex you are, there is no doubt that you are a very kind heated individual. take care. ![]() |
@ Tonye-t even though you might have known your best friend longer than your girlfriend, when you are with her she should be your main concern. if a seating issue arises, your girlfriend should feel entitled to that front seat, and your best friend should be able to understand that. |
@ sweetpie23 i havent been here long enough to have that good of an impression of people, but so far i think pornodude has the best personality for guys. he is non judgemental, very funny, and gets along with just about everyone. akebulan and faakay are also worth mentioning for this title. ![]() |

i love jill scott and erykah badu!! i will have to watch your posts in this thread, our music tastes might be similar.
