thank you all very much for the great advice. i am actually living in new york, but i still appreciate the input from those who thought i was in naija. after reading through all the responses, and thinking what would be best, ive decided to complain about this anonymously. i am first going to contact the managers of my building, then if the problem continues i will contact the proper authorities. i honestly do not know these people well enough to know their reaction, so i thought that would be the smartest thing to do. thank you all again, take care.

i do mind my business jare. the only times i communicate with these people is if i see them in the hallway, and even that is rare. i am really disturbed by the thought of drugs being in my system when i do not even use them. dont you think it is unfair for them to smoke drugs in places where it gets into my apartment?

its amazing how one man can bring so much shame to millions of people around the globe. as if things werent bad enough for us who hold the green passport, now we will be watched even more closely when we proceed through airport. this man had so many opportunities to make the best out of his life, and now he probably wont be able to see the light of day again. such a waste.

hey nairalanders, hope you are all enjoying your holidays. i have recently been having trouble with my new neighbors, and want some advice. i share an apartment with my roomate, and our neighbors next door are 'unsavoury' to put it nicely. i can understand having parties and enjoying music at high volumes, but when it happens at all hours of the night it can get annoying. however, i can live with that, but what i cannot live with is the odor of marijuana that come from their apartment. sometimes when i open the windows and take a nap inside of my living room, i will wake up slightly disoriented with the apartment smelling similar to the odor of a skunk. when it first happened i thought nothing of it, but it took my roomate to tell me that i was getting 'contact high' from their drug smoke, and marijuana would be found in my blood stream if i were to be tested. this really pissed me off because i am very anti drug use, and want nothing to do with it. how do i tell these neighbors that i want them to stop smoking drugs in areas where it seeps into my apartment without sounding too invasive??

you sound like a nice guy. whether your girl is cheating on you or not, it is very evident that she has little respect for you, because if she did she would not even think of doing some of those things. i cannot say if she is cheating or not, but i think that you should find someone else, because judging by your character here, it seems that you deserve better.

there is nothing wrong with calling someone to wish them well, but if he is rude to you, make sure that is your last call to him. you dont want him to think you are desperate.

you two look like a very cute couple. i know of people who say long distance relationships are always bound to end in disappointment, but i believe that if the couple stay dedicated to each other, they will make it through. i think lots of telephone discussion and webcam connections will probably help you two stay communicated while you are away. you should also try to come back and visit your town as frequently as possible- you dont want her to feel lonesome.

Meeting polish people outside poland is different than going to poland. The polish do not want black people flooding into their country. You will find yourself unwelcome there.

i have met some very kind polish people in my life, and i have a hard time believing this. if this is true, then i wish for a day when people would stop judging others based on their external qualities, and focus more on whats inside of them. in my opinion, this kind of thinking will only further divide humanity when we should be coming together.
