Properties › Re: 7 Compelling Reasons Why You Should Build Your Own House by iyerenath(m): 10:28am On Feb 25, 2017 |
FabioPeter: Across virtually all Nigerian culture three major criteria are used to judge the success of a man; 1. Is he Married? 2. Does he have children? 3. Does he have a house of his own?
At 60,70,80 a man's success is sadly measured against this standard. It's my opinion that this is rather shallow and underachieving, inasmuch as it's important to have all of these there are many other things that should define a man/woman's success.
Things like service to humanity, religious uprightness, mentor to the young all these and many more are legacies which transcends the life of a man. We must have them as our core values. my broda,God's spiritual blessings will literary start manifesting in ur life for dis write-up...we keep learning Christ!!! |
Politics › Re: Nigeria Students To South Africans: Vacate From Nigeria Before 48 Hrs - Vanguard by iyerenath(m): 12:18am On Feb 24, 2017 |
middlebelter: In as much as I believe in peaceful coexistence, it is time to tell Jacob Zuma's government and by extension the black South Africans that there is a limit to human tolerance when pushed to the wall. It clearly inhuman to treat the people that helped you out of difficulty unkindly
Because South African companies are employing Nigerians on our soil doesn't make them God. We have had nationalisation of companies owned by UK in the past and South Africa may not be an exception in the 21st century. Nigerians in South Africa can still return to Nigeria and life will continue, but if we fail to send a very strong signal to this criminals, you can be sure in the long run you may not have any Nigerian in South Africa that will survive the future attack. When you are talking to someone, you've got to speak the language the person understands. Can't you see that the only language Zuma's errand boys understand is violence, do you think Zuma gas an iota of regard for Nigeria? Can you recollect how he relegated Nigerian president to the background during the burial of Mandela? Was he completely lacking in sense of history how Mandela was housed in Ikoyi, Lagos for protection and assistance during apartheid?
The arguments that Nigerian in South Africa are criminal is been sold to the gullible. How is it possible for Nigerians to be the only drug pushers in South Africa, get me right, am not supporting g criminality but hey, you know that if Nigerian are alleged to be sell drugs, who are the buyers? Are they not South Africans? How many of the buyer have been arrested? Are all Nigerians drug pushers? Can't you see failure of leadership /governance in Zuma's government?
If Zuma's government failed to accord us the respect we deserve and when ahead to covertly support criminal attack against Nigerians by not ensure adequate security coverage for Nigerians, he should be reminded that nobody has monopoly of violence. A few year ago, we some Nigerian parliamentarians were forcefully deported from South Africa and Nigeria retaliated, did Zuma not step in?
This people have stayed so long under apartheid that they think violence against their black brothers should be the way to resolve their economic crisis. My final admonition to Nigerian students as an elder is to engage on a non-violent protest. Block MTN, DSTV, etc office with peaceful protest and banner condemning the xenophobic attack against Nigerians in South Africa, let all International media carry the news. By so doing, you would have sent a clear message not only to Zuma's administration, but the whole word about the crime. This is clearly a way to show them we are more civilised. may God bless u for dis sir...we r accepted in d beloved!!! |

Booyakasha: discussing or asking questions here is pointless, it isn't really hard to know all this stuff, by just knowing what each functions are used for then you'll be your own master, ppsspp forums is the right place not a Nairaland forum lol... your discussion will be very limited and no really knowledgeable discussion will take place...
here: http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=1757
and here: http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=5352
hit the general discussion section where you'll get real help by asking questions and specifying your device hardware specs like gpu, cpu clock speed etc, i asked someone here about a specific setting for a 1gb/1.3ghz device and he/she was clueless saying i cant get a particular setting for a device but varies according to games which is kinda true but not acceptable by the real geek community, you see, there are general settings for your ppsspp emu depending on your hardware and gpu that proves to give maximum performance... also the language and way of communication here at nairaland is not something i find friendly at all... give the ppsspp forum a try, they made this app anyways so who else can you ask?? ppsspp forum thread is d main deal...there's so much Q & A.but if u still ask questions here is just like an added advantage... dis is not wat we should be debating over ma'am |
