EUROBOMBER: How can we be waiting for our younger brothers to come forward? Where is the leadership in us then?
We are the ones to reach out to them, table all our plans before them and make them see the bigger picture not to sit down in UK, draw maps and begin to circulate on facebook like Kanu.
Honestly Nnamdi kanu is not smart enough to handle this agitation, someone else with a lot of diplomacy and tact should take over.
We don;t have to insult Great Britain on radio Biafra for any reason. You must not insult any super power.
It is such a pity that kanu lacks wisdom and strategy. I quite agree with u that we shud reach out to them, but somehow i'm begining to feel that they are comfortably living in the Nigerian situation. What else explain their indifferences in this struggle? Shud i know what's good for me, i dont have to wait for anybody to tap my rear before moving along. |

EUROBOMBER: We all know that is impossible in Nigeria and there is so much injustice, is that why you guys have been shouting Biafra if I may ask?
What is wrong in have Akwa Ibom as a capital?
Was it not Philip Effiong that stood for the Biafra when Ojukwu fled to Ivory Coast? They shud come forward and participate fully in the struggle. U can't choose to stay aloof, and with covert preset conditions. It doesnt work that way. I'm not against biafras capital sited in akwa ibom or cross river. |

ekafine: only on one basis shall we support biafra agitation. if the the capital of the new biafra is sited in akwa-ibom or cross-river then the possibility of achieving biafra is 85% done. we have the capacity to produce resources to build a biafra that will stand dubai and asian tigers. we have the resources to place the new biafra on the world map to sit side by side with the 8 most industrialized developed countries of the world. we have done it in akwa-ibom with our resources and we shall replicate it in the larger biafra territory. uyo shall be the capital of the new biafra republic. franchizy: At an emergency meeting of the concerned Igbo Youth Movement ( CIYM ) held in Enugu, Enugu state.
We observed with a total dismay the activities of the Biafrans agitators and we condemn it, we condemn it, we condemn it and we call on all our beloved brothers and sisters to as a matter of urgency withdraw from the streets and go back to their normal business.
It is obvious the hundreds of our fellow Igbo's have been killed since the inception of the one million match and our people rather than learn from history they choose to continue with a fruitless protest.
We want to make it clear that there is no way Biafra can see the light of the day. Our elders and political leaders who should lead the agitation have all dissociated themselves and kept mom on all issues relating to Biafra.
Nigeria is a united nation and no way Biafra can be achieved on her territory, not even a referendum. Many of we Igbo's are making our billions today in Nigeria and sane Igbo man or woman will want to lose his or her wealth in the name of Biafra.
We claim that we Igbo's are marginalized but it obvious that the Igbo's have benefited more than other geographical regions in terms of appointments and political offices.
We have come to a conclusion that Nnamdi KANU is a scam who has misled and brainwashed the guileble Igbo's in terms of donations, he has been milking our Igbo brothers and sisters in the name of Biafra.
Fellow Igbo's, we think it is time for us to learn from history and stop reaping harvest of mistakes.
Tell me, how can we see peace when we have continued to bite the fingers that have been feeding us,
How can their be deep seated happiness when we have dethroned God for a fruitless agitations.
The proverbial tortoise once asked his children How many times will something happen to you before you learn your lessons. They gave varied answers but he replied ONCE.
Fellow Igbo's, how many times will something happen to us before we learn our lessons, I guess ONCE. (Civil War).
Again will this exchange of blames, accusations, hate speeches, disunity bring rays of light to Biafra, here you are entitled to your own opinion but hold it. The saying goes, that the God who created us without us cannot save us without us and God help those who help themselves.
When we are not united, when our state governors, leaders and elders are not solidly behind us, how can we actualize Biafra.
We therefore request that the protest should as a matter of urgency be stopped. We urge the Federal government to deal with all arrested protesters according to the laws of the land and we urge the military to henceforth shot at sight any further protesters seen on the street.
We remain one and united Nigerians.

Politics › Re: Facts About Referendum On Biafra! by Iykopee(m): 8:21pm On Nov 07, 2015 |
Goahead: (1) Biafran agitation has nothing to do with hydrocarbon crude oil deposits in Niger Delta. Imo, Abia, Anambra are currently oil producing states in Nigeria, with huge natural gas reserves not forgetting the enormous untapped coal deposits in Enugu. (2) Biafra is not land-locked. It has numerous access to the sea, including through the River Niger. (3) Biafra entire population is more than 35 million people which is greater than the population of many advanced countries in Western Europe, including Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Holland, Austria....etc (4) Biafra does not or in any form signify war, violence, armed struggle or any sort of physical confrontation. BIAFRA IS NOT WAR! It simply means political, economic and socio-cultural freedom from a feudalist State ruled by terrorists and Jihadists. (5) Biafra is not a call for massive exodus to Igbo land. Put differently, every Igbo or Biafran must not live in Biafra land. Those who wish could still maintain their residency wherever they are as well as own properties anywhere in the world, including Lagos, Abuja, Kaduna, Kano…etc. (6) Independent and sovereign Biafra will never translate to loss or forfeiture of landed properties of her citizens in Lagos, Abuja or anywhere in Nigeria. There are many domestic and international treaties, conventions and laws that protects Assets of non- citizens everywhere in the World, that will apply appropriately. (7) The NEW BIAFRA shall be a coalition of desirous and willing ethnic nationalities in defunct Eastern Nigeria and would never be a forceful annexation of any unwilling ethnic nationality within its current geo- political definition. Ijaws, Ogonis, Ibibio, Anangs, Efiks, Ogojas, and host of other ethnic minorities shall possess the privilege to decide whether to tango politically with their Igbo brethren or go their own separate ways or remain part of current structural deficient Nigeria [8] Biafra is a train of peace and liberty. A desire for liberation from institutionalised stumbling blocks like quota system and federal character principles in Nigeria's quasi-unitary society. It is a movement against internal colonialism, tribal gang-ups, economic marginalisation and political subjugation of Igbo and ethnic minority neighbors. (9) It has nothing to do with hate, bigotry or ethnic chauvinism. Just a desire to live in a healthy society where your tribe, tongue, religion or creed does not define who you are or how far you would go in your career. Current structural deficient Nigeria got me laughing.... OP u are on points |
