This isn't an ethnic-war thread as you can see. Only the insecure see it as such. ^^^ I cudnt find Oyibo in the list. Hahahahahahahahaha. This must be a joke. What a devious attempt to exclude my LGA from the niger delta stuff. Oh becos i speak igbo language? |

MizMyColi: Well, like I said, people pray for different reasons.
I'm not the kind who prays so that God can wield a magic wand and make all our problems go away. No.
Prayer has a way of changing my attitude to things. Matter of fact, I don't pray always. But when I do, it usually counts for something.
I understand your angle, but one thing you should ask yourself is that, during the time of those corporate prayers, what was the state of mind of those who prayed?
Some of them harboured bitterness and unforgiveness. Others were praying and had intentions of going to do worse things tomorrow.
My prayers today deepened my understanding that true change starts with me. It helped me totally forgive two of my good friends who happen to be NLers. I was able to see the good in them again. It has helped not to harbour evil thoughts against the persons who are deliberately seeking to anger me on this thread.
If that's not a miracle what celebrating, I wonder what is. There's power in prayer, when done rightly. I believe that much. ^^^ ok. Hoping to see Nigeria become bettter by simply applying ur method. Hahahahahahaha |

MizMyColi: There is a place for emotions, there is a place for logic.
I'm a product of the supernatural. I know it exists.
Prayer means different things to different people. For me, it has a way of reconfiguring my mind and allowing me press on to greater heights.
The belief that thoughts, attitudes and healing intentions of an individual can influence the physiology of another person or entity is very well supported by scientific studies into the healing power of prayer.
Woman, whenever i look @ these great nations of the world, i knew they didnt get there by relying on God almighty to sought out their issues. I'm not saying u shudnt pray and have faith in God to make Nigeria a better place, but truthfully, is that the way out? Have we not been praying for all these years? |
Politics › Re: Today, I Prayed For The President; I Prayed For Nigeria. Come In If You Wish To. by Iykopee(m): 6:48am On Nov 01, 2015 |
Truth is, it doesnt work by prayer. Nigerians are world's most prayerful people, yet good tins aren't working here. Besides, are we suffering from spiritual problem? I guess we all know the answer to that. No great nation ever made it by relying on prayer. Woman stop being emotional. |

TruthisGOD: Try to be reasonable here, when he is done with fighting corruption and manipulating the judicary so that his party will control most states, there won't be any opposition party again where the masses will fall to checkmate them and i dont see him fighting corruption against his party members. When this is achievied, there will be only one political party, even if you later see them as corrupt, you ve no choice bt to vote for them. If u don't they will still win cos the now ve the system under their control. You will only have an oppostion party when the members of (Apc) not the masses start getting tired of the party due to their selfish interest jst like PDP. The system will keep on moving in cycle and the masses keep suffering. I pity this country. U nailed it.. Let the zombies keep living in denial. |

Have you ever considered the fact that only 33% of the Igbos resident in Nigeria actually live in the East? You are better off embracing this great country and you do unborn generations of Igbos a disservice by promoting this Biafra. I know that you are a civil war veteran, but even you should be honest with yourself and admit that it is time to let bygones be bygones. You people lost the war - it is a simple fact and nothing to be ashamed of. It is time to move on. ^^^ emotional paintings @ best.
