You talk, I talk, them talk, will it cause any change? I don't see real governance in Nigeria. Ngige wins Rocha's wins, El-rufai tweet it will never have any impact on governance. They are just there to get their own share of the national cake that's all. Ngige former governor went to senate, came back again, wetin him dey find?

What do people do? they come on nairaland wasting their mb tearing each other apart with their opinions. El-rufai, Ngige and most of all the one you call Jonathan and clueless president that your father will lick his bottom does not even know you EXIST. Smh make una grow up

The love is very strong because I have known and asked her out for more than six years and she is my bestest best friend before she said yes Nov 9. I will be here for 3years and although the communication is good for noe but I fear for the worst. What must be done to keep the flame up? Am glad our parents are aware of the relationship can that hold the it up? Advice seriously needed

tomakint: Well done bro, just keep your head up, definitely you are in the best environment and country when it comes to I.T! Please how much do you know about ITRC Computer Education in India, my company is planning going into partnership with them, I just want to know how reliable they are, thanking you in advance!
I just got to India 3rd of July and because of the cumbersome nature of my schedule, (Mon-Saturday) we go to school and also the school work is much, I havent done much or paid attention to Computer institutes in India or else I will fail woefully, so I am taking it one step at a time. I plan on going for my certification courses during the holiday! But believe me when I say this, Indians are best at what they do. Your organisation will not regret a thing

Obiagelli: no offence bro, what opportunities are there in India that Nigeria cant offer. I am just curious
I am schooling in india, atleast admission was easy, no jamb or post ume, the lecturers are dedicated infact they even beg you to come to school. There is nothing like ASUU. As i have been made to know, india is one of the countries leading in IT and i am studying computer science. Does that answer your question? living in india is cheap and the school fee is affordable. No need for sat and toefl, no need for €8000 euro deposit.
Politics › Verification Of Documents By India Police. Have They Reached You? by iyobs7(op): 9:55am On Nov 09, 2013
The police just left my house as at the time am typing this message right now demanding for my documents. The incident happened in GOA but
the police in Hyderabad just visited and the list he had with him, had Nigerians all through, no congo, uganda, south africa, tanzania.

When it started people did not see any need to get angry at the Nigerian that was killed but showed their anger towards the Indian govt.
Whatever the Indian people have done, I see no justification to a stranger, foreigner in a land that is not of his birth not to keep a low
profile when he already knows about the way these people handle their things.

Some said He was dating an Indian and the brother of the girl was the one that killed him and they now covered it with Drug wahala.
But as at now, the security of Nigerians in India is already compromised, why because of one brother who refused to mind his business

So you know how bad it is, other africa nationals that do something wrong, on questioning they mention they are from Nigeria.

I am not taking sides with anybody and I am not saying what the Indians have done is right but when you know you are not in your country, behave yourself.

Please for Nigerians living in India please comply when they come asking for your documents.
Politics › A Plea To Fellow Nigerians Living In India by iyobs7(op): 7:14pm On Nov 07, 2013
It is with a deep sense of hurt in my heart that I write this piece. I read about the Murder of a Nigerian and I really did not know how bad it was until, I saw on Nairaland's front page how a Nigerian was badly beaten. The police acted as if they were helping when in reality they were actually not. I have lost words seriously. Nobody know the real cause of the murder of the Nigerian, a drug lord or whatever but that does not justify his killing.

This is my fourth month in India as a student and I know how badly we are treated, Indians dont have value for human life. A country that abhors Rape festival in some part of its country is not sane.

A country that entertains HONOR KILLING, a situation whereby, a brother or a father will kill their sister or daughter because she gas out of the families culture or tradition in the case of marriage or mixing with other tribe in India leaves little to be imagined.

They dont even like themselves, that is why they have Caste system. A Burundi National was badly beaten in India and was in coma for more than 9months.

The first apartment I rented in India was also rented out to an Indian few days after I payed and I was made to move out until I got a place where the man clearly told me that He has a son in the US that his Son pleaded with him to rent the apartment to a foreigner and always treat them well. The man treats me like a son. Indians are the biggest racist country in the world.

In as much as I have said all these my Fellow Nigerians please I beg you all in the name of God to always go about your business on a low key. Please dont engage yourself in anything that will put you in danger of being mobbed.

Something happened in class today that I can reconcile to the fracas between India and Nigeria now. My Tanzanian friend came into the class 20minutes late and the usually calm, warm and ever smiling French teacher gave a stern warning that no one should ever come late to her class that next time it happens, the person will be thrown out. It only happened in GOA but believe me things like this can spread like wildfire before you know it.

Please my brothers we did not come to India to die, and none of us will leave here in a casket. Please do your part, remain loyal and face your main purpose of coming to India squarely. embarassed embarassed embarassed

Urine: Ok, let me take you back to school on this one. If you read my initial post very well, I mentioned "all Nigerians" meaning I wasn't talking about myself alone, 80% of the Nigerians also attended Private Universities in Naija. Do you get my point now? English can be tough @ times. All things being equal I should be in Mumbai by January, we should hook up, so you can meet the 'old man'. I know you're finding it tough in that Indian town but trust me little bro, there are Nigerians that are better than Indians. You can do it too, work hard and pray. Hope your girlfriend now picks calls in your presence? Goodnight little bro.
Thank God you are still viewing the topic and will be proud of your achievements as per bein a Nigerian that is better than an Indian which I dont dispute. But my stress lies in the fact that Indian Educational system is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better than what we have in Nigeria.

I seriously hate hypocrite.

If you were so good and I bliv u are in the IT field, a graduate and has or still doing his masters and you cannot write a PROGRAM or use PYTHON and u come on nairaland for assistance, then I can imagine the kind of education you had.

Majority of the things u use in Nigeria are made in India.
You are in UK, please do and come and better Naija with ur Knowledge. Indian education is bad and OJB ran to India and loads of Nigerians are in India for medical cases.

India is not good and they boast of the Best Dr's and Scientist in the world and where is Nigeria.

Oh wait Dr Ben Carson is a Nigerian abi... grin grin grin

Leave them to continue talking. It is very annoying when you hear them talk ignorantly of India.
It is their work culture and if you cannot bear the burden that comes with it, QUIT
Here in India, they work monday to saturdays, go to school moday to saturdays and even on sundays.

When I see the way they even use them in India I weep.

I havent changed my tone, I am stating the obvious, please dont come here to boast about bein better that 19yr old that u are doing masters with when u are obviously in ur mid thirties. Urine: My dear brother how can you be stubborn and f00lish at the same time? How can a 1st class Nigerian student be the equal of a 2.2 in India? It's not that bad na! I also think you're a bit blind cos in my post I mentioned "grad school" meaning we were MSc students with first degrees from Nigeria and India. Your parents have laboured hard to send you to India...make them proud.
Dont bother talking about how good or better you are than Indians when you are studying with kids.
I am sure you are upto 30 and in the same class with 18-19year old indian and doing your masters with kids, and priding yourself in the glory of bein better than them

If you are in grad school with a 19yr old, u had better hide ur head rather than brag about how good and better you are. Because I know indian at the age of 15, they are already doin B.sc and by 18-19 tops they are into grad sch.

You want to compare urself with that set of people?

Urine: You're the ignorant one bro, I attended grad school in the UK with top graduates from India, not one single Indian finished ahead of a Nigerian. Btw "schooling in India" is not adequate to pass this type of judgment, go to the US or UK and let's know your opinion.
Mr ignoramous, please dont come and tell us u schooled in Uk. Those that schooled in UK have better reasoning than what u just displayed.
I clearly made reference to Education in Nigeria not in USA or UK. Indians migrate to USA or UK for studies and it is celebrated as if they have won a medal. Try to think before quoting me next time angry angry angry

holyvirgin: I can't believe some of you are hailing those Indians undecided gosh... Those guys from third world country, with little education and terrible grammer shouldn't be allowed to boss any Nigerian. They are disrespectful, saucy, lazy and not professionals at all.
The annoying part is that as a Nigerian working in any Indian company, don't expect promotions. Oh yes your salary MIGHT be increased a little but you can never rise to the position of manager instead they will go back to indian, employ another indian who knows nothing about the job to lord over you despite the rise in unemployment.

I don't pray any of you to work with indians abeg....

You are right on just 1 thing (india has cheap labour) FYI india is the 2nd largest economy in the world, they can boast of 24hrs light, good road network, and most of all quality education that's y they are taking over your IT Industry, ask OJB y he had 2 go 2 india for his medical treatment, y not UK or USA?
Thank you my brother for ur post. A brilliant student in Nigeria is an average student in India.
ASUU has been on strike for more than 4months. In Nigeria lecturers comes to school at will.
While,
In India, lecturers dare not miss their class, they even beg you to come to school.
In my college, if you dont meet 75% of attendance, consider urself carrying the whole year over.
They plead with you to come to them for extra explaination. They encourage you to come to lab and
carry out practicals. I finished from uniben last year and during my 6yrz in Science lab tech (Microbiology option)
I did not use a microscope one day. I thought I was the only one until my cousin that finished from elect elect told
me she did not see or use a diode until she went for IT in Lagos.
