The cordial relationship between two friends, Ikechukwu Nwandugo and Lucky Ugbedaga has gone sour following the confession of Ikechukwu to Lucky that he has been sleeping with his wife, Queen, at his house at 24 Latif Street, Egan, Lagos State Southwest Nigeria. The 28-year old Ikechukwu who has just repented told Lucky that since his own wife left him, he had depended on Lucky’s wife for sexual satisfaction. He asked for forgiveness from his shocked friend and claimed that his conscience has been pricking him since he started sleeping with Queen. Shocked by the confession, Lucky went to Igando Police Station and reported that Ikechukwu has been sleeping with his wife. The police promptly arrested Ikechukwu and took him to the station. At the station, P.M.NEWS gathered, Ikechukwu confessed that he actually slept with Queen. He told the police that he went to his friend to confess because he was now a born-again Christian and his pastor asked him to go to him and make a confession. Queen, the woman at the centre of the adultery, told the police that she went to Ikechukwu’s house when she had no money. She admitted she went to ask for N200 but denied that he slept with her. The police, after investigation charged Ikechukwu to Ejigbo Magistrate’s Court where he is facing a one count charge of conduct likely to cause the breach of peace. The offence, the police said, was contrary to Section 249 of the Criminal Code, Cap. 17, Vol.2, Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria 2003. |
Rick Ross knows how to burn money. The 'B.M.F.' rapper recently celebrated his 35th birthday in his hometown of Miami, shelling out approximately $1 million for a wild night on the town. The Bawse followed his birthday party at Play nightclub with an after-hours bash at Miami's famed King of Diamonds strip club, where he was joined by a handful of celebrity friends, including Busta Rhymes, Pharrell Williams and fellow Bugatti Boys member, Diddy. During the course of the night, Ross reportedly spent $1 million at the popular Miami strip club, where Lil Wayne also celebrated his return to the city, after serving jail time in New York. NBC Nitecap correspondent, Peter Bailey, captured some of the action from Ross' birthday blowout on video. Check out the footage after the jump. Earlier this month, Ross revealed that his fifth studio album, titled 'God Forgives, I Don't' was almost near completion. The album's first single 'Made Men' featuring Drake hit the Internet on Jan. 3. |
I have been dating this girl for three years and we are always quarrelling but I always apologise first. On Valentine’s Day, I was meant to buy her a handset, but my friend advised that I should withhold it and test her love for me. I was shocked when she packed her things and left my house because of the handset I didn’t buy. This girl claimed to love me but does she? Please help! Courtesy of Punchontheweb |
Two sisters are facing jail after using stolen credit cards to pay for breasts enlargement surgery. Rishona Downes, 25, and her older sibling Ramona, 27, each splashed out more than £4,000 for the Harley Street treatments within weeks of each other. They paid the bulk of the balance using card details provided by a friend working for a credit firm. But it wasn’t until six months afterwards that they were rumbled when a technology firm noticed they had unwittingly paid £8,090 for the sisters’ surgery. Today, the sisters were convicted of five counts of fraud at Southwark Crown Court following a week-long trial. The Downes sisters stood impassive in the dock as the jury returned unanimous guilty verdicts against them after deliberating for more than five hours. During the case it emerged that both women were desperate for surgery because they felt self-conscious about their bodies. Ramona’s partner has complained that 'other girls had bigger t***', while Rishona had felt her breast were sagging after the birth of her son. Ramona, a former shop assistant at JD Sports, and Rishona, who works at Heathrow Terminal Five, had tried to claim they had no idea the cards were stolen. Judge Christopher Hardy granted them bail ahead of sentencing on April 4, and ordered pre-sentence reports to be carried out by the probation service. The friend, who cannot be named for legal reasons, also faces prison after she admitted paying for her own breast enlargement surgery using stolen card details. Prosecutor Karen Robinson told the court that the two sisters both had breast enlargement with the Harley Medical Group in London within a month of each other in September and October 2008. Rishona was the first to undergo the procedure, making a £500 deposit on September 22 that year using stolen card details. The payment was later rejected, and she had to pay the deposit again using her own credit card, but by that point she had already had the operation, paying the £3,795 balance using a different stolen card belonging to a large technology firm. Ramona underwent the surgery on October 13, paying the £4,295 using the same stolen card as her sister. It was not until the following year that suspicion fell on the Downes sisters and their friend, and they were arrested on March 20, 2009. Both sisters claimed they had thought that the card details their friend had given her were her own. They said she had told them they would be able to pay her back when they could. Rishona Downes, of Willesden, northwest London, admitted two counts of fraud between September 22 and 20, 2008. Ramona Downes, of nearby Kilburn, admitted a single count of fraud on October 13, 2008 Source: Daily Mail |

A London woman who sent her teenage son to their native Nigeria because she disapproved of his lifestyle has been jailed for eight months. Edirin Onogeta-Idogun, 17, from Newham, flew from the UK to Nigeria last July. Edirin Onogeta-Idogun moved to London seven years ago His parents Lydia Erhire and John Idogun were issued with a court order to return the boy, who is believed to be with his father in Lagos. When they failed to do so, Mrs Erhire was convicted at the Old Bailey of being in contempt of court. Edirin was born in Nigeria but moved to London with his mother seven years ago. He had been studying for his GCSEs and had been due to transfer to a college in Hackney to study business and media. 'Significant risk' Last year he feared he may be taken to Nigeria and forced to marry against his will, his solicitors said, and a Forced Marriage Protection Order was issued on 8 July. He attended school for the final time on 12 July and it is thought he flew to the African country about four days later. The High Court ruled Edirin was a resident of England and was entitled to continue to live there. His removal from England was contrary to the protection order and he was at "significant risk" while in Nigeria, it decided. |
I know there was an announcement that all the Singles in the Church should wait after service, how come you didn’t wait? “Because the Singles fellowship in my Church have no understanding of what Singles really need. Moreover, if I had gone for the meeting, it will be full of children than my mates. Challenges I am confronted with are not addressed, and I am tired of wasting my time. I would rather go for a show or watch a movie with my friends”. She is actually 37years. She’s involved with her boss in the office. Has a nice apartment that is used for cell meetings of her Church. Lost the virginity she has kept for 33 years to her Pastor, and can’t have him totally to herself because of Pastor’s wife, neither can she have her boss completely too because of his wife. Her boss actually told her never to call him on phone because of his wife and promise to make all the calls. So she has to wait for his calls, and when he doesn’t, you may never imagine the pain she has to go through not hearing from him as he may not come to the office for some days because of business appointments he has to make all around and outside the country. After all she is in love, only that she loves the wrong person. When they first started the relationship, he made sure she was always on his Team, and so they travelled together. But now, rumors has it that he is seeing some new girl in the office, and will do everything to make sure that the two ladies don’t meet and get heartbroken in the process. He is a born again Christian and will not want to hurt any of his Mistresses. So if our lady in question doesn’t see him most of the time at work, she is sure to meet him at Church which is where they actually met and started the affair. He actually facilitated her employment in his office. What do you make out of this? Lost her virginity to her Pastor at 33, and now is dating a married prominent member of her Church. In my counseling sessions, I hear a lot, I see a lot, and eventually discover a lot that is happening in secret places [realizing that my Clients don’t keep much back from me. They are ready to tell everything, and all the names involved, knowing they have been looking for an opportunity to talk and unburden their consciences of guilt, so much guilt all this while], and I can tell you that there is so much sex amongst Singles in the Church, and this is not about sticking to one partner I discovered, but with so called brothers and pastors having a swell time of their lives moving around so many gullible sisters in the Church. It is a pity. Why are these singles sleeping around? So many reasons I believe, but to make it worse when we preach don’t, don’t don’t, and people don’t do don’ts, then they will be left with not knowing the Do, Do, Do, and how to do what we are meant to do. People need to do something. Tell them or show them more of what they have to do, and give them all the assistants they need to do them. Loose them and let them go. If nothing is done about the sex scrouge that has hit the Church, she shouldn’t expect so much respect from outsiders, and blessings that maketh rich from a Holy God either. It’s amazing how many of our Brides are actually giving birth 7 months after the wedding and the children given birth to are not prematures. What are the real needs of mature singles? What can be done to start having sincere relationships amongst Church members and not a situation where the brothers in the Church continue to tell lies to their own sisters, duping many of them financially with the sex trip bonuses added to that, because they believe they cannot be caught. How can the Church stop believing that she’s making progress by having 18 people get married in 6 months, when there are 1 800 who are equally ready, but are not married within the same period of time because they haven’t found their life partners yet? I believe if we don’t sit and talk about this sex scourge that has overtaken the Church while we were sleeping, we will remain as powerless as we are becoming already right now, full of so much talk, but less to show for it. I believe we need to promote true friendship again. Friendship that is not out to use people, but add value to their lives. Friendships that is out to make sacrifices, and watch others truly happy. A friendship maintained over time is costly. Not only does it take effort just to keep up with someone when both of you are moving around in your first few years of your careers but it also requires even more to deal with personality quirks, misunderstandings, and slights. Lacking the willingness to pay attention and to invest emotional energy, friends become mere acquaintances – and eventually become strangers all over again. Ever wonder why Scripture represents the church as the family of God? Why it pictures its members as sisters and brothers to one another? The deeper truth is that we belong to one another in a significant way and are expected to look out for one another in a pinch, to take up for one another when the neighborhood bully (i.e., Satan) comes calling with the sinister intent of doing real harm to one of us. Don’t forsake your highest ideals. The most intimate of human relationships is the one between husbands and wives in our marital covenants. With sociologists telling us that about half of all first marriages are failing, something must be wrong with our thinking. Where is the “excellence” we are building into our roles as mates and parents? Research tells us that “till death do us part” has been laid aside as an archaic convention in wedding ceremonies of late. In its place are things like “for as long as our love shall last” or “until our time together is over.” How’s that for being open-ended? For leaving a way out? For some people, what they call “love” doesn’t last into the third month. Their “time together is hardly enough to unpack.”Make it easy on yourself” seems to be the rule of thumb for too many of us. So we are shallow in our Faith, careless about our Character, and weak in our faith |
Former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has totally denied reports making the rounds that he and the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN’s) presidential flag bearer, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu were on collision course. He said the reports were from cunningly creative writers who, not only wanted to hatch a conflict between them, but preferred to use speculative means. Tinubu, while speaking to aviation correspondents Tuesday in Lagos described the story as “Isi ewu” (goat head pepper soup) reporting with no substance in it. “It cannot be true. Can you compare the two reporting? I read the papers. I read the one in Tribune and the one in The Sun and they are conflicting; go and digest it. Have you seen a party where there is no discussion, no debate, no rational thinking? Then with the two reporting, they want a conflict but they cannot create a conflict or crisis where one does not exist. It is most unfortunate that today journalism or reporting is taking another tone. It is just the kind of ‘Isi ewu’ reporting. I’m no longer surprised about all of them; there are just speculations and imaginations of somebody being very, very cunningly creative. You yourself in your own little groups, you have discussions and you discuss characters, you discuss values, you discuss what sort of benefit a situation can bring to you; if there is any active debate, or even silent debate, and consultations, what are we getting out of this. How will the public react to one person or the other; how can you maximize the value or harvest the knowledge of an individual? Does that create any crisis? You discuss it and the reporting is a lie”, the former Lagos Governor explained. On the recent comments of President Goodluck Jonathan where he called South West political leaders rascals, Tinubu described the President as a drunk fisherman whose boat is about to capsize. “I think the president is wrong because that is an insult to our parents. It is a speech from a drunk sailor fisherman whose boat is about to capsize. That is an insult to our parents, you don’t come to this land, seek our votes and then insult our parents that they raised rascals”, he stated. When asked whether the ACN had plans to merge with other parties to form a stronger opposition to the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP), the former Lagos Governor said there was no such agenda. “Who is prescribing that? Everybody is entitled to his or her own thinking. There are so many theories and theoreticians and forecasters and I deal with a political environment where gossip and ordinary speculations work better than deep rooted thinking and the ideological philosophy of a party is not taking into account. You talked about a party that has been in power for twelve years, isn’t it? Who says that ACN cannot do the magic? It is some thinking from several quarters. We believe that if we pull together, it will be better and easier. No one will dispute that, but I will never write off my party and I believe Nigerians are tired of PDP and they will speak through their ballot.” On when the ACN will present the running of Ribadu, he said: “I am not the candidate. You talk to the candidate.” I will be contacted and is it not very interesting to you too to keep the general populace in suspense? Is it not part of a good strategy? However, he did not admit whether the party was rooting for former Finance Minister, Mrs Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala as the running mate to Ribadu. “She is a very qualified individual and she is an asset; she is an asset to the nation, an asset to Africa and international community, and no doubt about that. But you don’t know whether she is even free now. She will be ready to serve her fatherland as a patriotic citizen who is ready to serve her at any capacity and she will be willing; but it doesn’t mean that when you chose a running mate to anybody that he will be more valuable. We have so much to gain from her, intellectually, in her character and professionally and for our reputation all over the world, so it doesn’t mean that she will serve the country better as a running mate to anybody. If she is to serve again as she once served as a minister, then she should be ready to serve the country. A patriotic citizen must be ready to sacrifice for his or her nation.” The CAN Chieftain also expressed optimism that his party will beat the PDP in the April polls. “We are winning. You cannot win it all but we are winning the majority and we are taking over from PDP, Poverty Development Party.” http://www.sunnewsonline.com/webpages/news/national/2011/feb/16/national-16-02-2011-03.htm |
A shocked husband, Luke Bello, has caught his wife Bisi, 35, and her lover Ahmed Tijani, 25, having sex in his apartment. Luke alleged that he caught his wife who is four months pregnant for him with her lover, Ahmed, on his matrimonial bed making love. Luke who could not control his anger raised alarm and rushed to the Igando police station and reported that Ahmed raped his wife in his house. The police went and arrested Ahmed and Bisi followed them to the station on the allegation. At the station, Bisi told the police that she was not raped as claimed by her husband rather she invited the man to make love to her and she enjoyed the sex while it lasted before the husband suddenly returned home and started raising alarm. Hansome Kennis Music artiste, Kelly Hansome, has made another avoidable detour into the minefields of controversy. The controversy-prone singer is the subject of a petition sent to the Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Haruna John, a copy of which E-Punch also got. According to the petition signed by the proprietor of the club, Edwin Okeke, the Maga Don Pay crooner, visited Cue Lounge located at Savannah Suites, Area 3, Garki, Abuja, on the night of Friday, January 28 with a few friends ostensibly to unwind. Okeke states, “The problem started when the musician who came uninvited appealed through a mutual friend to be allowed to render a track from one of his albums. Little did we know that we were making a big mistake by acceding to his request because as soon as he finished the first track, he delved into another and started using his music to incite violence.” At which point Okeke said they started pleading with him to stop but he seemed past caring: “His disregard for our plea even amid shouts of disapproval from the guests who were already walking out, prompted Deejay Scott of Brilla FM to turn off the microphone. Realising that he could no longer continue with the microphone, he started assaulting an official of Cue Lounge until the lounge guards came to the official’s rescue.” While being dragged out of the club, Okeke stated that Kelly ran back and grabbed the official by the collar while his (Kelly’s) escorts threw punches randomly. He declared further that in Kelly’s final attempt to forcefully gain entrance into the lounge, the front door which had been locked to forestall further disturbances did not give but the glass name plate broke in the process. “A smashed 12mm glass name plate outside the door is one of the clear indications that violent acts were let loose by the musician and his escorts. In fact, a visit to our premises will show evidence of the magnitude of disruption and great violence that occurred on the said night,” Okeke said. Aside this act which led to many patrons leaving in anger, what irked the management of the club was the artiste’s threat to come back and continue where he stopped. Several attempts to reach Kelly were unsuccessful as his mobile line was switched off. His label boss, Kenny Ogungbe, could not be reached for comments as he is in Los Angeles, United States |
damn!!! how can some men be aroused by anything that had breast and a hole behind or between the legs. men! so if Nigerian be oyinbo they will do worst. when u see your 13years old daughter is beautiful and endowed |
A 16-year-old girl, who was allegedly impregnated by her father, has narrated how the randy man administered oath of secrecy on her before he deflowered her. She also narrated how the suspect, Sunday Olanrele, used payment of her school fees as a bait to turn her to a sex object. She said: “I thought he was a good father. He gave me kolanut to eat and said I would die,if I revealed the secret. So, he started kissing, and caressing me and later deflowered me. When blood started gushing out from my private part, he used pampers to cover it. I did not tell anyone because of fear.” The victim, Bola (not real name) disclosed how her mother told her to go and bring her school fees from her estranged husband, before he took advantage of it to have canal knowledge of her. “When I went there, my daddy started doing it again. He kept promising to give me the school fees. I ended up staying with him for many months and he was making love to me severally.” The last straw that broke the camel’s back was when she spent seven days with her father five months ago. “He slept with me all through and when I got home, I wanted to tell my mother but I was scared. So, I kept quiet,” she broke down in tears. The embattled girl also disclosed how her parents were estranged while her mother re-married, attributing it to her present ordeal. According to her, their mother did not visit them for five years, while she (victim) was denied the opportunity of visiting her. It was when she wanted to commit suicide by drinking battery fluid that one of her aunties took her and her younger brother to Ikorodu, Lagos State. It was also from Ikorodu that she went to her father’s house. “While I was in my father’s house, he brought out a calabash and kolanut and told me to swear an oath that I would not divulge what he was about to do with me.” She explained that when her monthly menstrual circle ceased, she did not bother to disclose it to anybody. But her mother was said to have got information about the pregnancy and took her to a pastor, where she spilled the beans. The pastor was said to have given her assurance that she would not die, if she disclosed what transpired between her and her father. “I told him that my father was responsible for the pregnancy,” she said. The victim’s mother (names withheld) told Daily Sun she suspected a foulplay immediately her daughter came back from her father’s house. “I started perceiving offensive odour and asked her if she visited someone else, apart from her father and she said no. I called the father on phone and inquired the time she left his house and he told me. I reasoned that if she had gone to another person’s house, she wouldn’t have got home the time she did. From there, I knew something was wrong,” she said, fuming. The woman disclosed that she later brought a magazine and showed her a story of where a father impregnated his daughter. “She was devastated after reading the story. That was when I knew that the father had done something abominable.” Few weeks later, the girl started showing pregnancy symptoms. “I took her to the hospital for pregnancy test and it indicated that she was four months pregnant. I requested to know who was responsible and she refused to tell me,” she said. That was when she took her to the pastor where she opened up. The angry mother said she was now faced with the shame associated with the stigma on the family. “I’m confused, I am ashamed of the stigma. The pregnancy is over five months now. So, abortion is out of it. I’m in a dilemma now. I can’t procure abortion of five months old foetus,” she lamented. The suspect, who admitted committing the crime, said he didn’t know what came over him that made him to deflower his daughter. “I think, it is the devil’s plan to destroy me. I know it is an abominable act. I’m sorry, I regret my action. Nigeria police and my estranged wife should forgive me,” he said. http://www.talkofnaija.com/news/why-i-allowed-dad-impregnate#comment-1524 |
