One shot in a Cult clash between Axe and Eiye

A young man in his late twenties who according to report is a member of the Eiye confraternity is currently battling for his life after a rival cult member short him on his chest.

While speaking to izeksblog, an eyewitness said the whole incidence happened at about 8:55 pm on Tuesday.

According to the witness who refused to give his name, the attackers were members of the axe confraternity group who were out categorically to kill the young man. she said:

They were 6 in numbers dressed up on full black attire. They first went to the house of the young man who happens to have a twin brother and fortunately for him, he was not home at that time.

The residents of the house all ran out in fear. One of them said a member of the group told the others 'I know where he dey hide" 'come to show us, the other said as they ran towards the direction'

On getting to where he was seating with 6 other young men, the axemen pointed their torchlight because the place was dark and there was no light at that time. Once they found him, they shot him immediately but were only able to get him on his arm. The other guys took off while the young man that was shot also escaped with him.

When they realized he wasn't dead yet, they started shouting, 'where the person wey we shoot just now' They soon stopped searching when they realized they had already stayed too long.

While leaving the scene, the robbed the lady that had a shop close to where the scene played out.

The next day, a source close to the guy said the axe cult group sent message to the young man in an undisclosed health centre where he was being treated that they are aware he is still alive and will come to pay him another visit soon enough that same night, more than 6 other men were killed in different locations in Benin.

You and your father obviously think Nigerians are stupid as well. Anty, where have you been all this while, do you even know anything about the country your father is planning to rule, how much do you spend on a daily basis, can you afford to defend what you have in your account? My dear, both you, your father, your mother, Buhari and his clans are all thieves and self-centred individual. Well, not all Nigerians are gullible enough some still have their brains intact. Just a quick add, you are neither fighting for Nigerians nor do you have their interest at heart, what you fight for is what you know both you and your family stand to gain should your father becomes the president. If you actually have their fear of God or whatever you believe in, you should advise your father to support a more credible candidate that can help build this nation not him or his friend Buhar.

This is one of the reasons I ask people where they kept their sense. Gosh, Nigerians are demn gullible, why is he building this now, what did he contribute as a VP for 8 years? Buhari is mentally unfit, Yes but replacing him with Atike? That's pathetic. Let me ask quickly if Atiku and Buhari come and ask for your lovely daughter's hand in marriage, will you agree? Why then are we contemplating between a rogue and an insane man when we have other credible candidates? Make your votes count for good so we won't have to go back to Egypt. A man that stole more than the president as a VP, imagine what he will do when he becomes the president. To whom brain is given, thinking is expected.

To me, fighting to get Buhari out and get Atiku in is still the same thing. Don't tell me you are looking for good governance by replacing Buhari with Atiku when you know full well who Atiku is. You are all just looking for your own cut from the national cake. Why not fight for Sowore or Moghale, then I will know you are fighting for a good course. Substituting an idiot for a rogue, nonsense corrupt Nigerians.

Nigerian youths pass through hell to serve their father's land. 

Izek's blog gathered from a corp member with name withheld serving in Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State shared a photo of a huge python she saw in broad daylight.





According to the Corp member, the python is a supposed deity in the community and as such is not suppose to be killed.

I heard about the whole snake issue after I was posted to Njaba but I disregarded it thinking it was a myth. To my dismay, the snake showed up one afternoon. I could not even move my legs due to shock. 
 
The locals told me if I killed it, I will need to bury it in a coffin, contract a musician to play, invite people, cook food and buy drinks just the same way a human is buried. They told me the snake came to welcome me into the community and that it does not hurt anybody. 
 
I later gathered from other corp members that the snakes could even enter your room and lie beside you especially when it's too cold. Ever since I have not recovered from the shock. sleeping has suddenly become a problem.
 
As if the stress we pass through is not enough these people also want to add hypertension to it. I feel this NYSC thing is not properly coordinated. These people should try investigating some communities before posting corp members.
