Events / Re: Wedding Of Twin Sisters Who Are 1st Class Graduates In Akwa Ibom (Photos) by izi2brauz(m): 7:26pm On Oct 22, 2016
POINT OF CORRECTION, MODERATOR (of this post)...

The twin sisters which you tagged "First Class Graduates" are still in school, they are YET to graduate, and in fact, they are not in anywhere near First Class. I just confirmed.

The twin sisters are undergraduates of Akwa Ibom State University, studying different courses and as at the time of their Traditional Marriage, they are yet to graduate.

The twin sisters are indigenes of Nsiak Village, in Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. Their father was a one-time Head of Department, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State. He is currently a Lecturer of the same department. Prior to the twins' admission in Akwa Ibom State University, they were previously admitted in the University of Calabar, Cross River State.

Their decision to celebrate their Traditional Marriage on the same day/venue has nothing to do with academic qualification.

Whoever is posting this misleading headline just to grab media attention should apologize to Nairalanders and the general public.

Thank you.

henryanna36:
Remember the lovely twins Eno & Ekom,both first class graduates of Akwa Ibom state university whose pre-wedding photos went viral?

Eno Ukere married Jude while twin sister Ekom Ukere married Kuyak Michae.They had their traditional wedding on the 20th of October and here are some photos from the beautiful events.

Congrats to them!

As at the time of writing this message, Shippyme have refused to respond to my calls. I have called their US office but my calls have been channeled to Voicemail. I also tried calling the CEO of the company but his line is switched off. Since October 2014 till now (8th January 2015), my package which i booked with Shippyme to ship from the US to Nigeria have not been delivered. Nigerian office will tell me stories (as at 31st December, 2014) like "not seeing my package in their inventory" or not aware of the status of my package. The guy in charge of the US office has not responded to my emails since December 12, 2014. I don't really know what is going on. Maybe they are on the verge of collapsing but i promise you guys (Shippyme). Ladies and Gentlemen, I am deeply disappointed in Shippyme. I am tired of their filthy excuses. I just pray I have not been duped this time around by a company claiming to rebrand their system after sacking some purported fraudsters in their company some months ago. Over N100,000 was spent in acquiring the items i booked with Shippyme. Here's the tracking number: S1410134617. After my pending goods are delivered (on God knows when), I will never do any business with Shippyme, not even in my wildest dream, and i will do everything within my powers to prove to other customers that Shippyme is not competent enough to deal with pressures from customers in hard times. My tracking number again is: S1410134617. Anybody should track it on their website to see the list of items i bought which they are still "Preparing for Shipping" after i had paid them TWICE on that same booking. Right now, they have generated another invoice of about N2,000 for me to pay them, still on that same package, but what baffles me most is that the US guy KYLE told me he had shipped my items out of the US, while Nigerian office says they have not seen my package in their inventory. Too bad! Foul play somewhere. Other customers, please beware and deal with them with caution!!!!

ITbomb: One down
I heard that the School has been closed indefinitely
When will police stop shooting at students
Where is Ombatse when u need them

1. I heard one down.
2. Yes, school (UNIUYO) has been closed until the issue on ground is resolved.
3. Police will never stop shooting sporadically because none of them went to school. They were recruited with Primary 6.
4. I havent come across that name "Ombatse" but believe me, things had changed in Nigeria, it have teyd.

Common peaceful protest, police were invited into the matter, and that not enough, they started showing their talent with guns and teargas. Is that how NPF train their recruits? Am happy the VC's office is burnt down. That serves as a warning to her to desist from fighting her own students. I heard she has no issue, that may be the reason why she behaves "strong-head". Good for her. She should be thanking her stars she was not burnt too. Government will fix her office, and dont be surprised that the FG will release trillions of Naira for renovation of VC's office, whereas such amount would have catered for Diesel to fuel the school bus to convey students to permanent site for lectures.

If you cant fight a war to its end, never start it.
Education / Re: "No Biometric Verification" & "No Result Yet" Messages - Jamb Should Explain! by izi2brauz(m): 5:09pm On May 07, 2013
izi2brauz: Hello Nairalanders/Jamb(ites),

Whereas, many candidates sat for the just-concluded 2013 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) UTME (Paper & Pencil, Computer/Paper) Examination, but reports screaming offline shows that majority of JAMB centres DID NOT conduct the Biometric Verification of Candidates before allowing them entry into Examination Hall.

Candidates were advised to check their result after it was released, 6 days after the examination took place. To some candidates' dismay, after logging in with their Registration Number/Scratch Card PIN/Card Serial Number, they discovered that 'they couldn't see their result because there was "No Biometric Verification. Some of the candidates have claimed that they were not 'biometrically' enrolled at the examination centres. How did they know that 'that' carelessness by JAMB Enrollment Official(s) could cause them their future? Only JAMB can explain this.

Hitherto, this has caused a stir in the minds of brilliant students who knew they could hit the nail on JAMB's head; what did they get? The following messages appears thereafter:

1. "You cannot SEE your result because "NO BIOMETRIC VERIFICATION".
2. "No Result Yet"

However, the three mobile numbers displayed on JAMB Result's website [www.jamb.org.ng/unifiedtme] cannot be reached (since the commencement of JAMB registration). Moreso, JAMB finds it difficult to respond to emails sent to UTME2013.info@jamb.gov.ng.

MY VERDICT:
==========
After convincingly believing the above information to be true, and having searched for solutions to the above Computer Responses without being able to reach the appropriate "result website" authorities, I will assume that JAMB are making a fool of us - the candidates. Whereas, this notwithstanding, candidates have demanded (secretly, publicly, angrily and sadly) that JAMB should interpret the meaning of the aforementioned messages, and hitherto, they have not posted any news as to why this "quagmire" has besieged candidates, and those concerned in their affairs.

On this note, i rest my case, until we hear from JAMB.

Dear Webmasters,

I bring to you the report that the BURSARY PIN CODE PORTAL of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) is unsecured. This is a mess on Web Development managed by some sort of newbie who thinks they could handle the project perfectly because of "man-know-man". I wish i had such opportunity to grab such project, i would be a master planner of my own destiny. However, the PIN CODES ARE OFFERED FREE for students at the Bursary Department and therefore it calls for no alarm.

I can provide you with the link, but for security reasons, and on this note, i rest my case.

Computers / Re: Mtn Internet Modem Or Universal Modem by izi2brauz(m): 1:03am On Feb 16, 2011
@Tysa,

Yes, there is a mix-up somewhere here. The one i have here is already unlocked. I already have a modem am using, but this one was purchased new and has not been tampered with since i bought it. It was for sale, but since distance is the problem here, i was asking you to get one at any MTN office near you, then text me the IMEI of the modem and i will send you the unlock code to enable you use the modem with other networks apart from MTN.

Thereafter, as a sign of appreciation, you may now wire me something for the unlocking. N5,000 wasnt much, but whatever you feel you can fill in a teller, it is accepted by me. NOTE: I am not charging you a fixed unlocking price of N5,000, instead, i am charging you whatever you think you can offer for the unlocking. My account is open for you.

Am gonna text you right away!
Computers / Re: Mtn Internet Modem Or Universal Modem by izi2brauz(m): 12:43am On Feb 16, 2011
Well, i was trained on how to loose in order to gain. Okay, let us do it this way. Can you get the modem at any MTN office near you? If you can, then i will unlock it for you from here, and then send you my details on how you can remit my unlocking fee. How about that? The modem is N5,500 at any MTN office. After purchasing it there, send me the IMEI of the modem (engraved beneath the opening where you will slot in your sim card - but very faint printing so you have to be careful). Text me the IMEI and i will text you back the unlock code, or rather, email you with the instructions on how to unlock your modem for universal use. Finally, you will send down the unlocking fee (N5,000) to me via my details which i will email you.

Respond urgently, please. Email will be better too.

Computers / Re: Mtn Internet Modem Or Universal Modem by izi2brauz(m): 1:22am On Feb 15, 2011
@tysa,

If you really need a 3G modem, go for MTN F@stLink modem E160 at the cost of N5,500. But if you wanna use it as a universal modem (that accepts any SIM card), then you will need to unlock it. To unlock it, it will cost you N5,000, making the total of N10,500. Pretty cheap compared to Universal Modem of N25,000, yet it will not be up to the standard of MTN F@stLink.

Ring me if you really need it: 08035080172.

SIncerely,
