A man, Yusuf Salihu, 28 has been killed in Nassarwa State on Saturday folowing a face-off with a man over a girlfriend.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Ismaila Umar-Noman, confirmed the incident and said investigation has commenced on the matter. He further said the suspect is on the run. According to Ismaila, the body of the deceased has been released to his relations for burial while normalcy has returned to the area where the incident occurred.

Mr. Uzodinma's uncle and elder sister were among those caught in the act and arrested.
