You see. This is how it's done. Election isn't won on the pages of social media, it's won in the polling unit.
These social media noise makers, who believe making noise on social media can effect change are seriously deceiving themselves.
Kudos to those men who didn't relax and rant on social media while they watch those who aren't fit to lead them, lead them. |

Born2Freak: Is this one suffering from a lack of nuance?
Do most industries work on a Sunday?
Why are you just an insufferable douche? Below was your statement and the bolded clearly states you made a very direct statement, which is "we don't work on Sundays because of religious laws". Now this same statement didn't refer to most industry, does it? You befuddled twerp. I pointed out the flaw in your statement because, you've never worked for a penny in your miserable Internet trotting life, you demented failed Internet Arrow. You are a bastard. I said it and I stand by it. It's a pity you have nothing going on for you, that's why you've continously plagued this forum with your gargantuan foolishness to the point the owner rejoiced, when you said you left this forum. But here you are, still being useless and less worthless than a used up hoe. May Ahmadioha strike you down where you type this nonsense from. The internet and Nigeria at large can do without an inglorious loser like you. Born2Freak: Culture only begot law when human beings were ignorant.
Law shifts culture. In fact, we don't work on Sundays because of religious laws.
You're mixing things up |

KingOfAmebo: "I actually stopped reading when he said "They also didn't have any emergency services and no stretcher or ambulance". Are you kidneying me?
Abeg name one hotel in the world that has an ambulance, even Burj Al Arab - the World's only 7 Star Hotel in Dubai don't have an ambulance. It's either you are confusing Radisson Blue Hotel for Radisson Blue Hospital or you just want to cashout?
A 5 year old kid can lie better than this nigger.
Then he said: They were trying to sneak me out through the back stairway on the back of a porter to avoid a scene..Now this is absolutely laughable, where you expecting them to take you through the guest lobby so that everyone can have a good view of your injured leg? This is a hotel nigger and not a school or factory". - Village People spokesperson. Even at the the least the hotel management could have done is pay the hospital bill. Not abandon him as if he was shot by the police. |

pu7pl3: I hope your hands are on your head as you're typing cos you're referring to yourself
But you're always the first to start throwing insults like a hormone fueled 9 year old kid Mr Livelyhood my hands should be giving you a very dirty slap right now if you were close to me. But it's unfortunate as you can't be close to me because you can't leave the abode of the people who feed you at your purple age. Also, it's pleasant to always throw insults when dealing with online whelps who believe they're larger than life because hey, data is cheap. Here you are calling me, hormone fueled 9 year old, when of course, its evident you're the hormone fueled misguided fool. Isn't that the reason why type in that horrible colour? Like which right thinking normal human being will type in that terrible font? Come to think of it, I didn't throw any insult when Beorn mentioned me at of the blue, did I? That should tell you vermins like you should always be given the insult of their life, first, whenever they decide to just how much of vermin they are. May a thousand bedbug give you Mouth Action till you die of multiple orgasm. Now please get lost and stay lost. |

Calibrator: VAT is non negotiable. Everybody on earth pays VAT and by extension, everyone is a taxpayer wittingly or unwittingly. That is why it is said that Death and Tax are the two inevitable things in a human life.
Now that that is settled, you people can carry on with your arguments So according to your logic of "everyone". You mean a teenager with no means of livlihood, one who is dependant, whose parents sends him or her to buy a bottle of beer pays tax? Bros Abeg. |
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by J2381: 5:54pm On Nov 07, 2021*. Modified: 7:40pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
Beorn: But one doesn't need to be a taxpayer before one can criticize a government. It's like expecting every football critic to be a professional footballer before they can point out an error from a player or coach. Yes you have a point. But have you noticed recently, most football pundit are ex players, those who have played football professionally before in their respective role? It's the same with government bro. Anybody with data can come online and criticise the government, which of course most times, is usually Base on tribal or religious sentiment. I know you know many Nigerians are very emotional and sentimental when it comes to religion and politics. They've now applied that same sentiment to every aspect of their life. However, it's wrong to dodge tax payment when one has reached the age to pay them. That is another topic entirely. Agreed. |

Kaycee7: So what security bill are you talking about then? I mentioned it earlier. Go through my post and you'll see it among the post I highlighted when I quoted Beorn. |
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by J2381: 4:59pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
Beorn: I don't know if he has proof of him paying tax or not, neither am I saying security bill is part of tax or not, though I think it's irrelevant to what I quoted, or better still he's the one that should prove that as I'm not the one in the debate.
All I did was quote a post confirm that he said an initio that he's a tax payer.
But to add a little input to your post above, I don't think he needs to provide any proof of taxes paid before you can agree that he's a tax payer. There are different types of taxes which doesn't need to come in official tax papers. One can pay 3-4 taxes in a day. In Nigeria, we have:
Companies IncomeTaxes(CIT) ValueAddedTaxes(VAT) WithholdingTaxes(WHT) PetroleumProfitsTaxes(PPT) PersonalIncomeTaxes(PIT) Stamp Duties(SD) CapitalGainsTaxes(CGT) etc.
Believe me, as long one pay one of these taxes, he is a tax payer with or without papers to prove it. When I make a transfer to another bank and the FG deduct from my account the normal percentage for transfers, automatically I've paid a tax. Good. Now you and I know there are people who don't pay any of those taxes, yet, so many of them are the ones who like to be at the forefront criticizing the government. |

J2381: of course they matter, that's why they have other Avenue of watching the movie. Like I said, Naira Marley's song is banned but it doesn't mean it's not still played? Choice bro, and control. Oh brother. "I'm sure the FG is responsible for providing security in your own flat" simply mean most houses have a security guard attached to their house (especially in Lagos) So also many street now mount gates and employ a night guard there. I believe they call them 'olode' in yoruba.
Now tell me why those people who do such didn't wait for the FG to do that for them? Dude there's a reason why they say "charity begins at home". Your security bill should be part of your taxes? guy please stop Abeg.
Like I told Queenslander. The same rogues who cheat the government everyday, are the same individuals who will contest for elected office, and when they win, will do nothing but loot and still say "before I became an elected official what did the government do for me". Beorn. The bolded is what I'm referring you. Do you pay such with your tax? |

Never forget that. Born2Freak: LMAO You can see how everyone is just treating your f4ck up? everyone who double as online noise makers? People who don't have any viable mean of livelihood? Kaycee7: Obviously, that was supposed to be "government". Autocorrect be wildling.
A simple "Are you employed and/or paying taxes?" would answer that question. A question that I've already answered in the early sections of this discourse when you assumed I was not a tax payer. where did you answer my question that you are a taxpayer? You who can't even be proud to say what you do for a living is talking about this... mtscheeew. |
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by J2381: 2:15pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
Born2Freak: And should Naira Marley's song be banned?
Two wrongs do not make a right. Stop reasoning with bias and emotions.
Normal countries have "radio edits" for songs that are vulgar- the vulgar words are edited out when played on radio. There age restrictions label on CDs or copies that are legally sold.
There are modern and effective solutions but you want to be like the average Nigerian that is too emotional Oh brother... why do I even bother... |
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by J2381: 2:14pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
Kaycee7: So lemme get this straight this time before you say I'm assuming. Are you seriously saying that the people who criticize a giver should be saints? Saints in what terms? Giver? What do you mean "A giver?" It's a fair assumption. My person and occupation have no relevance to this discussion, save for you to generate ad hominem attacks. oh it does. I see no reason why someone who haven't contributed anything to the polity, even to the development of the house he lives in, the street his house is located should start mouthing off. |
