Gandollar: Don't drift away from your earlier stand. Well if you are in active politics to make a change to benefit a wider group of people, you will need a pedestal. A political office. And an exalted one at that.
My point is, our politics is very monetized. A viable youth with something to offer may not have the financial muscle to compete.
Why do you think women are still not in politics as is desired?
After spending so much to get elected, he only want to recoup his investment.
What I think led osubande to make this statement is because he is wary of the so called youth ranting on social media about the old brigade. So he was simply saying, don't just stand there and talk, get involved and see how sweet/bitter it gets on this side.
We all can't be in active politics. Let those to whom it's given govern well. Who's drifting from which stand. It's you who refuse to understand what I'm saying. Never underestimate the influence of party politics. You think people who hold elected offices make decision at the whim of their thoughts and don't consider the advise of their political party? If one is involve in party politics, one becomes known there, one can give advice or even be nominated for political appointment and the likes. Or you think people who get appointed into political offices or those who get nominated to head federal government parastatals buy interest forms? For one to make a change, one doesn't neccesary need an elected office. Making a change doesn't have to be in a big way. Atleast Dora Akunyuli who headed NAFDAC back made made changes, a whole lot and she didn't buy any interest form. So did Attahiru Jega. That's what I'm saying. |

Gandollar: Getting political appointments doesn't involve money? Really?
When ordinary police posting requires you to have millions for bribe. Yes getting political appointment doesn't involve money. Don't confuse influence with money. Those police who brine their posting do so because they want to be posted to a place where there is money. So remember not all police bribe to get posted to juicy places. Beside, don't compare police posting to party politics. |

Gandollar: Ok where will the youths see money to actively engage in politics in a monetized democracy like ours? you only need money when you're contesting for elected office. Being active in party politics, getting political appointments and the likes doesn't involve money. |

They were kidnapped about 1:20 am. I thought night travel have been banned for a while. In this current and fragile state we are now, who in their right mind will travel in the night. During the day isn't safe as it is, so it's night that will now be safe This is very unfortunate. Hope the Police in conjunction with hunters will mount an effective rescue operation. |

It's the country we now live in. It's become a norm and frankly, it's disgusting. |

If they eventually get the chance to lead, they’ll either be forced to change or frustrated out of office,, ‘cause majority of the people don’t support such competency. So what solution would you proffer? From your stand point you seem to believe there's no hope for Nigeria. |

It pretty obvious but how some people miss that they shock me. That's why I said few fans. In actuality many fans who reads the comics knows she's Bi, it's just not pronounced. There was a storyline I can't remember where they insinuated the whole island fvvks themselves if they feel the need.
Wholesome content bro. I think it's Superman: Red Son. I've never liked the character though, I feel she's way too uptight and dark for my liking. |

abduleez1: Umm, only few DC fans knows this but there's a belief Wonder Woman is the first gay character in media(comics world). Wonder Woman appeals to both the feminism movement and LGBTQ community. Also the hetero world. She grew up and lived on an island full of women. So duh. Frankly speaking I've always suspected she's bisexual. |

themanderon: You guys talk as if your votes have ever counted. Wake up and smell the coffee. The system has been rigged perpetually against the ordinary suffering masses. The elites have created this system to work for them alone. Never you think those figures announced by inec is the true reflection of the will of the people. The elites want this present flawed and wicked system to continue so they use the equally suffering security agencies who are on paper meant to protect the masses to protect themselves from the masses. If you want change you may have to take it by force. All these western countries we are seeing today had many martyrs that bled and died to have the system that works for both the government and the governed but here our leaders will never do the right things yet they do not want people to challenge this anomalies. How do you know all these? Please don't be making assumptions. If your vote don't count why do you think the so called elite do everything in their power to rigg it? From the way you sound I believe you don't know what a Polling Unit looks like and probably you've never voted before in your life. If you had, you obviously won't be saying all this. Yes, we know the so called elite use the security agencies to keep the masses in check, that's why it's out duty to make sure we change from the status quo. This can only be done via election. It's up to you and I to stand for what's right, The countries you said where people martyred themselves are countries with sane citizens. Now ask yourself if Nigeria is such a country. With the way we are divided along tribal and religious sentiment, you should have a rethink. Even without that, the way we envy, jealous and hate each other is a pointer that it'll be hard to even find anyone willing to martyr themselves. |
