Politics › Re: The Intimidating Credentials Of Peter Obi, Atiku’s Running Mate by J2381: 9:29am On Oct 13, 2018
Having impressive credentials doesn't necessarily translate to one, knowing how to govern and deliver on election promises.

At least, Thomas Sankara didn't have half of what Peter Obi does, yet, he's still a respected name when it comes to African politics.

the man that use 12virgins as a recipe for his perfume, yet went scot free. one of the most amazing thing is the way everybody fell in love with one another during his execution

You think? Maybe/maybe not...the beautiful thing is that you and I and countless other Nigerians are re-evaluating the polity and the ruling class and asking for more...we are on our way there...that in itself is progressive, we start holding our leadership accountable, making demand of them and holding them accountable...that is the revolution we need. We must put aside our prejudices and ethnic sentiments and only look out for Patriots and Nationalists...we must stop this culture of praise singing elected officials and start asking questions and making demands...true power reside with the people, we must understand that...at every level and strata of society
you should tell this to the average northerner who doesn't believe in anything you just typed.

You and I are a very small part of a bigger Nigeria who have been brainwashed with religion and tribe.

exactly! This indeed is a historical period in the history of Nigeria that can shape or Mar us as an entity. Obasanjo had the opportunity to write his name on gold in History as the modern father of the new Nigeria; we can allude much to Obasanjo but whomever it is that must take the baton to lead this Nation of ours must break from the old order, must be a unifying factor, a core Nationalist, must eschew to a large extent politiking and focus on governance and the deliverables of good governance.
this description doesn't fit any politician in Nigeria.

The point is that no one should be criticised or stigmatized especially when what they're doing is not criminal in nature. It's quite unfair to compare gays to prostitutes. Gays are just the same as heterosexuals, just that they prefer the same sex. It's really that simple
at last we've seen the bias.

Why is it unfair to compare gays to prostitutes? And how are gays the same as heterosexuals? So according to you, a man fvcking a woman is the same as a man fvcking a man, right?

So, if a man fvcking a man is the same as a man fvcking a woman, why is a man fvcking a woman and paying for it, or a man fvcking another man and paying for it different? Or doesn't it all involve sex? (hope you're aware there are gay prostitutes).

Yea but why point out someone else's smellier fart when yours stinks as well. All facts stink, everyone farts. grin
yea all farts stinks, but the truth is some fart stinks a hell lot more than others.

Humans are hypocrites by nature. Always trying to make themselves feel better by pointing out that someone else's fart smells worse than theirs
so I see no reason why all the noise about homosexuals. They aren't the only ones being criticised and stigmatise in Nigeria, prostitutes too get it worse. You don't hear/see them complain on social media, do you?

Some to think of it, some people's fart actually do smell worse than others. grin cheesy

Not a lot of people do to be fair. He makes good music, can’t take that away from him
how nice of you. Atleast his past history of beating up women didn't make you bias.

He is, or was at least. The movie painted him as a saint in comparison to his past. He’s had quite a violent history with women, from Dee Barnes, to Tarrie B and his ex wife Michel’le, and those are just the documented ones. Anyway I think he co produced it so it’s not surprising that there’s no mention of it *shrug*
well, I never knew of him (Dr Dre) being a woman beater. All I know is i'm a fan of his and I love his uncanny ability to discover raw talent.

I still bask in the euphoria of listening to this song: Dr Dre introducing Snoop Doggy Dogg - Deep Cover.

Wow! That's all I can say.
