Imagine this coming from a people with names like "Olugbinde Adedeji"? . yall just the same, always saying things anyhow, without a pack of self-awareness
Funny part is foreigners actually love our names, ask yourself why foreigners who have kids with South Africans only pick a South African name for the baby. You find them naming their babies Thabiso,Lebo,Thabo,Thabang ..lol these people want to be us so bad but they will never admit it😁😁

Honestly South Africa is never a destination on my list,i cannot comprehend what Nigerians are doing there, their names alone are horrible,eg Nkosikhona Ndabandaba.
And I suppose you think Ndawaachuku Abiola sounds sexy.

The fact that you still have to ask this question when you could just google it shows that you are not very bright.
The onus is on you to bring irrefutable prove, not me.I don't really care that much.

What time period was Mandela hiding in Nigeria and for how long?🤔🤔🤔

You have a problem with comprehension.
I never said Mandela did not thank the afro-americans, or that they did not contribute. I said their scale of contribution was not comparable to what Nigeria did.

It's like comparing a lake to an ocean.

Their own government was not in anyway friendly to the black southafricans.
https://time.com/5338569/nelson-mandela-terror-list/

Nigeria invested significant human, financial, and political capital to get you your freedom. In hindsight we shouldn't have, but we did it.
I am hearing you just fine I guess you just don't like how I am debunking you at every turn and bringing you down from this grandstanding you are trying to do here. What enormous task do you really think you performed that sets you above the rest? The fact that you housed few of our comrades?

Like lake and ocea..? Lol problem with y'all is everything boils down to ego and pissing contest and that's why you'd say something like that.Oh and I see you dodged my question - what year, what time period was Mandela hiding in Nigeria? Because I am looking at the chronological order of events and and it doesn't make sense as Mandela was in prison from 1962 to 1990.Was it before or after his release from prison?🤔

What does the United States government got to do with black Americans? Mandela being under FBI terrorist watchlist is a very well-known information, nothing groundbreaking about that info so do yourself a favour and stop posting links I won't even open.

And what is this political and financial capital if I may ask? We keep hearing about 62 billion that you apparently gave the ANC but the ANC government doesn't recall that kind of money coming to them.
Foreign AffairsRe: There Is No Xenophobia In South Africa - Deputy President, Paul Mashatile by JaceBlaze: 11:35am On May 07
CSTRR:
If you believed this, then you are a clown. The black americans themselves were still under massive racism and economic subjugation.
They were not in a position to render any significant help beyond mere words.

You also conveniently ignored the fact that the US govt were hunting for Nelson Mandela. if the black americans had any real influence, that would not have been possible.
It was Nigeria that hid him and his colleagues.

Anyway, the Universe has a way of dealing with Ingrates.
And Mandela's trip to New York to thank Afro Americans? I guess according to you that didn't happen either, it's all figment of imagination?

What year was your government hiding Mandela from American government? Because last I checked he was arrested in South and spent 27 years in Robben Island prison until he was released in 1990..🤔

It really does.Sometime I look at the way your country became a failed 5th world state and wonder if that's karma for selling your own people into Transatlantic slave trade.

hahaha. You said south africa was 'built by whites" and I'm saying it was a concerted effort.. not the same thing buddy.. say one thing and stick to it .. you're all over the place.
The American government literally has I.C.E. which targets immigrants and deports them... try another example
I.C.E that raids people's homes, and not to mention there are black I.C.E agents so what the hell is that guy talking about?
Foreign AffairsRe: There Is No Xenophobia In South Africa - Deputy President, Paul Mashatile by JaceBlaze: 6:57am On May 07
CSTRR:
The black Americans were not in any position to offer the level of help that Nigeria did.
Infact, the US govt were firmly on the side of the boers which was why Mandela was on the FBI most wanted list for years.

Anyway, we hear you loud and clear.

Nigerians are sophisticated and patient.
We play the long game.

Ghadaffi of libya used to disrespect Nigeria consistently, and when the time came, we fuckkked him up.

And when the time comes, we will deal with your disrespect.
They were actually. They are more influential & wealthier. The imperialists benefitted from their creativity in the world of entertainment by using hip hop,Rn'B and basketball to sell American products so they knew a boycott of American companies by them would have affected the American image and dollar badly.

Your emotional threats don't move me,not one bit.You should forward your threats to Boko Haram and bandits in your country. You can't play that game with us.

Nelson Mandela himself came to Nigeria to thank us for our unprecedented support in cash and kind.

Anyway, history has a way of repeating itself.
And when it does, we will teach you all a lesson.
He also went to Harlem,New York to thank black Americans but you don't see them trying to hog attention about it like y'all.

Hang in there buddy...

One of the greatest mistake Nigeria made as a nation was to invest heavily in the liberation of the negro Southafrican.

We invested in cash and political capital and even got sanctioned because of it.

It won't happen again.
Boohoo! It never happened anyway.Your government was probably syphoning your money into their personal accounts and lied to you that they sent it to South Africa.

Lionessza6:
I think nothing pains some of them more than seeing ordinary people in South Africa, despite all the structural problems from the past and failures of the current government, gradually bridging the racial divide faster than some countries are bridging their own religious and tribal gaps 😅.

You’re more likely to see South Africans across racial groups unite and give an outsider the middle finger when they feel someone is trying to infiltrate or exploit South African politics for their own agenda.

The recent external political pressure attempts by the Trump administration and the backlash that followed were a good example of that.

Meanwhile, some of the loudest critics come from countries still struggling with tribal tensions, religious divisions, ethnic violence, separatist movements, or conflicts that never fully disappeared after independence. Trump succeeded in putting boots on their soil so easily because of their religious hatred and divide🤮..yet they are here painting themselves the uniters of Africa grin

That doesn’t make South Africa perfect. Far from it. But the constant attempt to present South Africans as uniquely hateful while pretending other societies are shining examples of unity is just dishonest.

And lastly: Mass migration is evil and we will do everything to stop it nomatter how they try to spin it. Let them leave "evil SA "alone ...why is this so difficult?
There is an alternate South Africa that exists only in their heads. Apparently we black South Africans are still carrying documentation to verify if we are really South Africans when we visit "white spaces" lol .There are cities and towns that we are not allowed to set foot in according to them. They just can't fathom how a country they have long been trying to cast doomsday prophecies upon is still holding up.It really grinds their gears and I for one am loving every minute of their agony grin grin I just don't know what it is about us that unsettle these people so much, and it's weird because the potential threat to a Nigerian's life is the banditry and tribal violence in their country, not a South African who lives in million miles away country.

True,I mean we know we have our internal issues but an outsider will be put in his place should he try to add his unsolicited two cents into our business.

That's because they are trying to use us as some sort of a cushion, pointing a finger and projecting to them is better than accounting for problems they have created for themselves in their countries. How can people who hate each other preach unity to us? Hai neva

Mariangeles:
That is because you black South Africans have a common enemy - the whites.

And at least, other African countries sorted their issues within themselves, by themselves. Unlike you black South Africans that needed your fellow black Africans to come save you from your oppressors.

Now, you all have mouth to talk, when just few decades ago you all were fighting for your rights to merely coexist with the whites.

Go and si'down!

Africans will never forget.
And when you had the whites as a common enemy you captured your own people sold them into Transatlantic Slavery ,had them transported like cargo to the "new world" - the worst form of dehumanisation ever.At least South Africas have never subjected their own to such.

You didn't sort anything out. There is still tribalism in Nigeria,The war in Congo is far from over, South Sudan is still battling its own,and did we forget that the civil war in Rwanda was just 30 years ago? You guys are not a shining example of brotherly love like you want us to think.

It hurts you that we coexist with whites? grin cheesy meanwhile in your country certain tribes are not even welcome in Lagos.
Foreign AffairsRe: There Is No Xenophobia In South Africa - Deputy President, Paul Mashatile by JaceBlaze: 4:40pm On May 06
Tell 'em,Paul cheesy We are not a testing ground for Pan African ideological wet dream.Deep down everybody knows pan Africa has failed and no amount of speeches can make it a reality.

Now the way I see it - whenever an idea or system fails to live up to the expectations people always look for a fall guy to put all the blame on instead of collectively taking accountability, and in this case everyone is pointing a finger down South😂😂😂 .The funny thing here is that long before South Africa even got liberated there had been a number of bloody civil wars in a number of African countries, something that never happened in South Africa.Even to this day most African countries are still grappling tribalism and civil unrest...so I ask - who actually betrayed the idea of Pan Africa?

Are the Itas foreigners? Are the inkabi foreigners as well? What have you people done to reduce insecurity in SA that as a South African living in South Africa, it would be hard for you not to have experienced robbery, attacks by hoodlums.

I have been been there before so I know what I am talking about.

Your leaders then came to us for help, without the help them, may be your likes wouldn't have had access to the internet today.

I asked again, ever since Black South Africans have been ruling the country, tell us their major projects and achievements. Are you aware South Africa can't even borrow money anyhow as you are indebted to so many financial institutions.

What have your black president done with the loans obtained that your likes today are blaming the foreigners? Had your government spent the money judiciously, may be those who are seeing the foreigners as threat to their lives would have been fully employed and mind the progress of their own life without blaming others for their misfortunes
No one gives damn where you've been.

Nobody has ever looked to Nigeria for help.A country that is still grappling with tribalism and incompetent leadership whose president has not been in the country for the last six months can't help nobody. You are completely delusional.

- We expanded the our road systems which prior 1994 were only limited to the minority white population.Today no African country to compete with SA when it comes to highways.

- Under black rule we became the biggest generator of electricity in Sub Saharan Africa.

- We hosted the first ever and only FIFA world cup in Africa..we are a country of "firsts" when it comes to positive strides and can't nobody take that from us no matter how much they might hate it lol

- Google who is the biggest black middle class in Africa, and while at check who has most black dollar millionaires in Africa, yup that's Mzansi fosho🇿🇦

- What else? Just being born here on it's own is like a lottery jackpot. We have immigrant aliens that refuse to go home and fight their own governments. They wanna be part of us so bad they even call themselves South Africans even when they are in the UK 😂

Now that I told you what we have achieved can you tell me yours after 60+ years of "independence"

See as how you are struggling to defend this. The Westerners who are in South Africa, are they there because their country is underdeveloped? Why haven't you sent them packing?

Read up the role several African countries played in your liberation from the apartheid government
Are the "Westerners" standing on corners all day selling drugs, doing human-trafficking and running Internet scams? the day you see one please remind me.

All I know is that there is no bigger payment than the loss of life and physical torture my people went through here in SA,so whatever you think your government paid can be repaid by check.

Funnily, this should be my first response to the Xenophobic attacks going on in South Africa for quite some time now

I just deliberately not put mouth because severally on this forum, I talked about how the South Africans are getting carried away by not controlling their emotions towards other African people. Even when you are engaging with some of them on this forum, they have this tone of being disrespectful while at the same time lack comprehension in discussing issue

Since after Apartheid government was sent packing in SA, can the blacks who have been ruling the country point out to major achievements they have done to develop South Africa or South Africans? or how many jobs opportunity they have created?

South Africa supposed to even be a visa free to reasonable number of Africa countries due to the role they played during apartheid regime. They claimed immigrants are taking their jobs, which jobs have they South Africans created for themselves? 70% of South Africa wealth is being controlled by less than 10% white South Africans, infact there are some areas in SA that blacks are not allowed to enter.

Mandela Tax was introduced in Nigeria, I mean Nigerians are being taxed in order to raise funds for the politicians in South Africa to fight the white regime, Ghanaians school children from primary to secondary to tertiary went on protest in support of the same black South Africans.

Tanzania, Angola, Zimbabwe all sacrificed a lot for sacking the apartheid government.

Should we say some South Africans have a short memory or they are just ungrateful for treating those who stood by them during trying time. Without their input, the apartheid government would have ruled for reasonable years.
We can point to more than two achievements but then again you'll just move goal posts and credit oyinbo in a typical Nigerian fashion.

Doesn't work like that.Just because few of our people chose exile and were living in some of these countries then y'all think the rest of us must carry the burden of living with criminals from all over Africa in our communities? If y'all are owed then why don't your leaders to tell the ANC to write them a check so that this exile blackmail can be put to rest? Besides Orania which is a private enclave in the desert can you name a town or city that black South Africans are not allowed to be at? I'll give you enough time.

The biggest tax that paid for SA to be free was the blood and sweat of our forefathers. They are the ones who went toe to toe with Africa's most powerful military at the time.I never heard of a Nigerian or Ghanaian who came to SA to fight alongside our people so just stop it right the with overplaying your importance in liberating South Africa.
