They have already given reasons to their defection cited the division in the office of the national secretary. Technically (not legally), their reasons seem genuine cos the administrative arm of the party was collapsed. The question you should ask is: who files your application for service with NYSC? Is it yourself or your Alma Mater or higher institution?

However, this is not an argument worth my while because the matter is in court. You will do well to tell that to the court.

Mobilization are in various stages, it's both internal or external mobilizations. The internal is done by the school with your consent (because you need to submit you statements of result, age declaration or certificate, Jamb admissions letter/ regularization as the case maybe) then the institutions will send your name to NYSC to checked of you're qualified for scheme or exempted using your date of birth and date graduation as a yardstick. It is at your external mobilizations where you will be notified either you're qualified for the scheme or not. If you ever served, you will see people of 40 to 50 years serving, do you think all them forged their ages?
