Politics / Re: Names Of Witnesses Called By Peter Obi So Far At The PEPT by Jackiedemie(m): 11:14am On Jun 21, 2023
I'm yet to see or heard any of his witnesses that christened their prayer that Obi won the election. Neither do they bring any concrete evidence to show that the election was barred with malpractice. Sticking with IREV malfunctioning is totally waste of time cos Election results were manual collated using BVAS data as total accreditation record. Moreover, I'm wishing them good luck for the subsequent days ahead.

N/B. The essence IREV was the show the populous the voting pattern in each of the polling booth as well as act as a second collation mean where result sheet, police copies, agent copies of the result, Bvas are unavailable

Let take 2009 for example, what was the cost of production, transportation, insurance, taxes, national income, frieght etc as well as inflation. These are the core determinants of a price of commodity.

Politics / Re: Peter Obi Is Asking For Non-Existent Documents In Petition Against Tinubu – INEC by Jackiedemie(m): 10:30am On Jun 21, 2023
The lady tried her best yesterday. But her testimonies are more of moral and emotional justification than objectivity.
Firstly, it will tired with emotional burden of losing an election hence it's bias to be an expert witness.
Secondly, Misrepresentation of the company whose you're not their spokesperson nor authorized to speak as it relates to the subject matter. Irrespective of the way we see it, those moral burden will still tired to her testimonies.

I think when Dangote refinery is operating at full capacity... The rate of FX on import id PMS will reduce hence the price might Reduce as well as creating both direct and indirect employment in tenth fold than direct importation

Business / Re: CBN announces unification of FX windows, stops Naira4Dollar scheme by Jackiedemie(m): 2:32am On Jun 15, 2023
franchasofficia:
A good start for now.

But guess where the problem is?

CBN doesn't have enough dollar to meet Nigerians' usd demand, remember we are an import dependent country.

I think the stoping of subsidy subscription on pms will add more for our foreign reserve.

What it means is that Nigeria doesn't earn enough FX through export to meet up with the dollar demand of Nigerians, which means many Nigerians will be going to Aboki for dollar and Aboki will be determining the rate based on demand of dollar for the day, and this will definitely lead to uncontrolled crash of Naira value against USD.

I commend Tinubu for this good dollar floating policy, but it would have been better done after putting certain things in place to ensure CBN earns or have enough dollar to supply to all banks to sell to Nigerians.

One of those things that would earn us more FX and also reduce our FX outflow is putting our local refineries in working condition and leasing them out to private entities to run for Nigeria to reduce importation of petrol which gulps most of our FX. While fixing the national refineries, Dangote's refinery will also be ready and both combined would solve our importation of petrol which consumes majority of Nigeria's FX.

I think we fail to reason critically, he was accused of #85b and he claims that the only #3b was allocated for the project in the last 8years. Which constitutes less than 3.6% hence with due respect to the figure (3billion), it's ordinary compared to what he was accused of (85billion) over the duration of the projects (8years).

Too many Nigerians are illiterates. They can be easily swayed. Ordinary 10mins video they can watch to be better informed. You accused a guy and he has done a video to explain things instead of you listening to his explanation you keep your distorted lies. The rep guy is a dishonest fellow, a corrupt guy. He knows the truth but twisting it becos he needed a bribe.

You're right cos you watch it to the end.
The mam took time to explain everything from the beginning to the end. Just that we are been delusioned to the point that every public officer being accused of corruption should be executed before listening to his side of the story.

IfnobeGod20:

You guys should stop saying what you don't know, section 64 specifically mandated PO to transmit results.
"Section 64 (6)(a) refers to a hard copy of the results as collated while Section 64 (6)(d) talks about the electronically transmitted version of the results? Even sections 64 (4)&(5) direct that the manual version (original hard copy of the results) must be compared with the results transmitted DIRECTLY FROM THE POLLING UNITS. Hence the Act clearly envisages a DUAL collation mode.

That is why INEC assured on 26 February 2023, after it had failed to comply with the law, that “These results cannot be tampered with and any discrepancy between THEM and the PHYSICAL RESULTS used in collation will be thoroughly investigated and remediated, in line with Section 65 of the Electoral Act 2022″. Please, see: “#NigeriaElections2023: INEC Speaks On Why Result Viewing Portal (IReV) Is Not Working, Blames Technical Hitches For Challenges”. Do you agree that the “them” mentioned by INEC refers to the results e-transmitted directly from polling units to the iReV/portal/server on election day, as separate from the “physical results”?

You can get the details from here:
https://lawpavilion.com/blog/fifteen-critical-questions-towards-determining-whether-results-e-transmitted-directly-from-polling-units-are-not-a-mandatory-part-of-the-collation-process-under-the-electoral-act-2022/#:~:text=Thus%2C%20the%20Electoral%20Act%202022,the%20polling%20units%20(iii).

Mr. Man, no umpire changes rule at the middle of the game. Yes, rule can be changed before the start of an event but not when an event as began. Any one that does that had engaged in malpractice and no fairness again.

I've read it to my understanding but there is no electronic transmission of result in the Act whereas it's only the accredited voters which the act make it compulsory to be transmitted electronically either by smart reader or any electronic mean as prescribed by the commission.

What Atiku did at the tribunal on the claim of transmitting results electronically wasn't backed by law then. The 2022 Electoral Act empowers the commission to determine mode of transmitting and collating results, which the commission later gave in the form of guidelines for 2023 General Elections.
There's no law that backed electronic transmission of result. The guidelines can be changed at anytime depending on the circumstances the commission found themselves. For instances, election timetable is one of the guidelines and its can be changed anytime the commission find it fit to do so

He noted that it was after the court sat that the Petitioners forced on them the witness statement which was filed today 9th June 2023. Clearly about 3 months from the declaration of the results and not along with the petition.

They request that the witness not be allowed to testify since he was not listed and his witness statement not taken. That he is not a competent witness who can testify by the provisions of the law he has read out.

How will he going to collect his balance now?

It already has been postponed. INEC producing anyhow CTC will complicate matters for themselves. The parties have all the time in the world,INEC don’t. INEC don’t have a choice in this

The postponement of elections don't have anything to do with BiVAS inspection. Rather due to time frame for reconfiguration of bvas. It also interest you to know the ruling was in favor of INEC not LP

It’s on INEC cause they must backup those datas and provide physical copies before they reconfigure those machines. Chance is that this election will be postponed but we’ll wait and see what happens

Hahaha, one thing is sacrosanct, election will hold on Saturday. Secondly, what INEC called CTC is what you will accept, you maybe likely assigned another name for it, it's what's it.

Let,l assume without admitting, if INEC is conducting election on Saturday, who do you think is loosing?

Here is the aftermath of the appeal granted to all parties involved.

"Before u get more confused about the court of appeal ruling, here is the proper context

We have been granted access to inspect bvas & we'll get issued certified copy of contents BEFORE reconfiguring. Contents on the bvas would be backed up"

So before INEC configures the BVAS, INEC must allow the parties get a forensic image of the BVAS, SERVER, which will preserve the evidence needed for investigations.

Inspecting over 176,000 BiVAS within 2 days?
Are you dreaming?

Lolz..
Opunu, The Court granted everyone access to the BIVAS.. One thing you failed to understand is that after accessing , your principal already lost because the number of accredited voters on the BIVAS won't tally with the votes your so called Emilokan got in the states he claimed to have won.. 😂

APC/INEC game plan was to go manual and the exclusion of the BIVAS.. The more reason they wanted to reconfigure and wipe off the total numbers of accredited voters on the BIVAS and they never wanted Nigerians to know the total numbers of the accredited VOTERS..

Ntooor! 😂😂😂

Bvas configuration is to help them prepared for governorship elections to wipe data, I was one of the INEC adhoc staff and presiding officer per say, bvas need to be default (recording no data) before the commencing of elections
Politics / Re: Presidential Election: BVAS Data Remain Intact – INEC by Jackiedemie(m): 1:51pm On Mar 08, 2023
So, INEC should postpone March 11 gubernatorial elections to enable pdp and LP to inspect bvas?
But, when others parties apply for bvas check, I hope you guys will understand it too.
