With this setup, I felt it wasn't so excessive, it's stable though and she sits pretty with her nose slightly tipped forward.....

Yes that's the Dfgt, I bought the seat at a junkyard sales and had a carpenter make a stand for me(was able to hide speakers in em)

U can get pretty much any car seat on rails and have a carpenter fabricate both stands for you(your car seat needs one to keep it sturdy)

I got it then the wheel(Dfgt) naira conversion @ N29,000.then..2012.since gone...

Trust me it's Very close to realism though the Logitech G27 is more the best buy, upper end of the budget, Thrustmaster T500, is awesome but hyper expensive if ure seriously into Sim Racing!

You obviously dont lack the money to service a fine german sedan if you wanted to.

It's a Camry(parts are affordable with Camrys all over n reliable)I'd like to do it properly, GOAL is to have it eventually stripped out, Bride buckets and harnesses,Uprated brakes n suspension(thus the upgrade on the sway bar,struts).....

The car seems to have potential(I think),already good rigidity and a mild chassis roll-....il Up the four cylinder soon for more power-...and if I get to do everything correctly, it should be a first in Nigeria. Only weaklink is its crappy transmission.

It's fun and expensive, and easy to stray(acquisition of parts that are reliable and won't break),

Been away for a while....cash pot dried out, did some suspension work on her,had everything checked and firmed up...still hoping I'd have her painted.

I'd be saving up for some springs,sway bars and an engine strut bar/brace...that's next on the line.

I think you need to fit the old air filter so you can be sure you didn't get a bad ECU, I didn't expect the fuel economy to be worse.

Nope never had that before with the old air filter but I'd be sure to do so.

But there is a noticeable change in its performance n sound..not mind bending(I wush)

But then I must confess....The intake sound.well it's my fault on the fuel economy(lead foot syndrome-couldn't help it)

How is the ride with the K$N

Did a full change of the ECU, key transponder n Immobilizer(camry 2008) Cos the other got damaged (immobilizer)

Now I don't know if it's da ECU.but shift points have changed after the K&N install....it revs to about 3100rpm n then changes...subsequent changes follow up higher on the Rev range....

My best part is hitting 3rd at 4500rpm wit an immediate pull ..I love da sound though.

Only downside is da 2nd gear shift point..it follows a slight rev up and then down with a slight jerk as it shifts.....shifts have always been smooth.

And yeah the economy just went from Grrrr to an hair pull.

's a Saturday. ..got bored..and thought I'd upset the ricer haters a bit. ...thank God its vinyl.

Still hoping donations would come my way for a paint job(white pearl) and an 18 inch BBS rim with a 2 inch lip wrapped around a set of 225/40/18 Bridgestone.

Damn!....u got me...Car all good...Installed the CAI, sounds good and felt a change in its top end. Plugs and larger Injectors have been changed.

Paint and a wheel upgrade still awaits...As soon as spare cash creeps in.ill have it prepped for a shoot.

Yep it is possible....Find a good auto upholstery and give them an idea of what u want done.

The camry dashboard is usually all bland n bare.

Mine recently was made savage love to by our prestigious mechanics n told me it was the sun that cracked it....it's either I got a new dashboard or just cover it up in 4D carbon vinyl.-which I did n it looked nice.

Cos without those.yes there may be a gain in horsepower "sometimes"....a CAI may or may not net u the increase in HP over a usable rev range and a full titanium exhaust system would do better than a fart pipe straight through 2.5inch- 3inch.

A chipped ECU/ECM or a piggy back system
A full on Rebore of the cylinders(Stroker kit), Forged piston (High compression), Camshaft...

Bottom line is "On a NA engine, Getting 25 -30 hp isn't as easy as replacing an ECU over a line up/a larger exhaust, or an aftermarket intake...There is more to it than those.

Post up the dyno sheets of the test before any of the claims hold water....I once got carried away by this before

Just TRD hud caps on the wheel...since my rims have "RM racing" hubs on them n lost one after a misfit during an alignment mid year, decided to go with the TRD theme.

Having a lil problem with the cars engine immobilizer. ..should be fixed soon.

Until then...Here's it's SE conversion with Audi style Switchback LED function.

Should install the following over the weekend.
K&N Cold Air Intake.
EZ universal Lip kit.
TRD wheel and Grille emblems.

Eventual look...Credits go to the Slammed Society.
