I've driven the E55 AMG sedan from Abuja to Kaduna. My friend owned it. Its one hell of a crazy car. Problem is its got excessive power than it needs, anytime I go near the throttle pedal, ESP flashes and beeps, tries to cut power. But when its building up speed, its disorienting. So much tyre spins but its quick, very quick. I did Abuja-Kaduna in under an hour.

Chai....how I wish I was da one driving that car! I envy oh..

Yup I know it's an S500, never said it was an S55 amg-was perplexed wen I read n compared post.

I had the rare opportunity of Revving da bleep outta one -S55AMG(don't know why the owner ever let me do that), but I swear on my left testies, my body went numb.

For the love of these fine craftsmanship by the Germans, let's all chip in keeping a ear and an eye for the 500e.

First off, Nice Rims

Alright I do have some little experience with Choice of Rims and the preferred tires to go along with them

Low profile tires on your RX330,?? /35/22R, although are good to look at, we just don't have the good smooth roads your'll enjoy them on,

1. Wheel well clearance(they look like they fit)
But like the posters above warned a pot hole would definitely dent the rims if driven spiritedly(above 80kph)

2. Eye Candy for thieves and Our Favored Egunje Policemen.

3. Don't lose your wheel lug locks(if you've got one)
This dreaded nightmare happened to me once, and the damage both to the finish of the rim and replacement bolts werent something I'd wish to have a repeat of.

4. Tires can be expensive.especially your current tire profile.

5. Ride Quality may be diminished, your overall tire wall from rim to tire is lower thus u feel more of the road surfaces and the little dings and rough surfaces on it.

My advice...if you must use the rims.and you're prepared to live with a little rub with your current shocks, use a less wider and larger tire to run with your wheels.

Eg 265/45/22R. 10mm tire height increase from your current(you may loose ur "low profile" but then OUR POTHOLES ARE ON ANOTHER LEVEL...."they go bend that rim and itl suprise da shit outta u".

Have you heard of plastidip?
Its a sprayable plastic paint...u can simply peel off when you want...google it.
you could use it to cheaply transform ur car to any color..eg white n see how it looks.... if you wanna go this route..google for youtube videos on how to do it properly...u might need up to 4 to 8 cans for a good finish and top up with 2 cans of glossy clear coat

Yes sir, I did consider it once, it's part of a series of "shop cars"-(future plans) and I don't plan on selling(resale value sucks though-nairaland autos) so plastic dip wouldn't b an option for the kind of paint job I want...

Thanks Readonee35L, still a work in Progress., its an Ff, frankly it's base is frowned upon by the tuner community....But got a breakthrough..The Scion Tc shares the same mods thatl fit in the engine...original Plan is to keep it simple, intake(checked), exhaust, headers, my only problem is itl run rich-Only way is to have her tuned(which ain't possible this side of the world)

Your Honda Pilot's dark green color would go with some serious wheels with a bad a s s offset, 20's, I saw some on Google, I've got a pic..

I've got a friend whose got something similar to this..interested I could get da price over for you, wheel and rim,or rims alone

let me explain what the author means by underrated with a scenario

so i was driving my 2012 toyota camry xle 3.5L V6 with 268hp and this kia optima imagine been driven by a woman came to my side, i looked at her but she didnt look back and i thought what the hell what impunity as the green light came on i stepped on the pedal 20, 30 60, 100, i looked at my side mirror and the kia optima wont back down it kept on getting closer 120 150km/h my steering was already vibrating and the optima was already by my side angry and frstrated, i floored the pedal rpm reaching 5500 and the speedo was close to 190km/h but i didnt want to do 200 as i looked at the side mirror, the optima was no where to be found i must be dreaming, something just swooped pass me by the right hand side my God, it was the kia optima silver colour but its impossible yes the optima i4 turbo charged has 274hp enough to show any car willing to underrate it a run for its horsepower.

Yeah talk about handing it down, worse if she had turned slowly to da side n smiled! --bad ol scenario)

Wheres the Audi RS5(easily mistaken for a luxury slow sedan), that's one car that'll leave ur car, it's shadow and the dust around it, if u think ur EOD v6 or Merc C350 can outrun it
