I really pity the next generation. They are so uneducated. We as a country are trying to do away with the remnants of military rule. Firstly, this uneducated fagot and his equally uneducated senators that he so loves is not aware that the Customs Service is under the ministry of finance, that makes them part of the CIVIL SERVICE and not part of the armed forces. Secondly, even the police are not part of the armed forces, they are law enforcers, an appendage of executive arm of government. while the legislature make laws and the judiciary interpret those laws, the executive are meant to implement those laws, how do they do that? through law enforcement. That is what defines the role of the police, their sole duty is catch law breakers and take them to court, that is why in saner climes the police is headed by a lawyer, with titles like District Atorney (D.A).

1.) Customs is NOT a military outfit ............. it is called a [b]"Para-Military" Outfit.

Go and find out the difference!
You kids of nowadays dont ever use your dictionary or Google, even when you dont pay for either![/b]

2.) Current Head of Customs did not rise through the ranks of Customs (He was just a political appointee) and therefore cannot wear the Customs Uniform like an officer who rose through the ranks

3.) Head of Customs was a retired Nig Army Colonel.
In military hierarchy, his "pure military" Pips are higher than that of anyone in Customs (para-military!).
He wont demote himself in Uniform by removing a pure military Uniform and wearing a lower-ranked para-military uniform.
That ofcourse, is a matter of choice.

4.) It is not the "Uniform" that makes the law or does the job..... it is the man in the Uniform.
Once you have "the Man", you can go ahead with whatever question you need to ask.

**maybe he should just put the Uniform on a Hanger and place it at a corner in the Senate, sicne they are so obsessed with Uniform, instead of getting on with the job they are paid for.
