Romance › Re: Why Money Is Very Important In Courtship? by JagabanB: 4:39pm On Nov 16, 2023 |
Magnoliaa: I have not even finished reading this post, but the blanket statements are turning me off already.
Is it not getting married out of necessity that pushes people to cheating? I would have expected the post to address how there are many ingredients for a successful marriage. Espousing either of money or love as the most important thing is what will always lead to issues.
So if financial security is guaranteed, there'll be no more problems?
And did you really say (most) broken marriages are caused by finances? What does broken means here? Because they're many couples who are living together and fulfilling their responsibilities to each other, like robots, but there's no love shared between them. And where will you rank infertility, infidelity, abuse, children rebellion, family interference, etc., on the scale of marital issues? What data is backing such claim up here in Nigeria? I think this particular topic is more focused on love and money although there are some ambiguous assumptions in the write up. |

Well like I said you and his critics don't have to like him,but you can't dispute the fact.
He pushed Anambra to another realm, met the state in like 13 position in education ranking but left the State in first position.
Forget politics, the stats don't lie. https://news.band/performance-index-of-peter-obi-tinubu-who-did-better-as-a-governor/ What education? Anambra state university is like a cow shed doñ't even rank among the best, best secondary schools in Nigeria are not from Anambra. We are yet to see the products of these high education in Anambra since he left office 10 years ago, we should be seeing genius from Anambra and we are seeing nothing but drûg peddIers. Stats doñ't tell alot of stories. Obi ruled over Anambra for 8 solid years, if he is so competent and did very well in Anambra, that society should be fitting enough for him to live in. |

He developed the state so much he took state funds into banks to generate profit for him. We know. |

Ritaaa: Pls they should continue attacking Yoruba,it has a way of pricking those of us who has been gaslighted to see who their real haters are. Many Yorubas who voted Obi are not happy with the tribal attack by the ibos aka obidients at least they can see what we have been telling them. So they should not stop o,they should continue the tribal attack against yoruba
Are all obedients from Igbo tribes? You people can't do away with tribalism...the reason we are in this mess together.. shegge Banzai is loading. For your information... obedients are people that are yearnings for good governance for the good of ordinary Nigerians. Nobody yearning for good governance will follow Obi. People following Obi are motivated by two things, tribe and religion. For one Muslim to rule and hand over to another is the reason Obi got followers in NC and other christian dominated societies. If PDP fielded a Christian instead of Atiku, they would have voted him instead of Obi. That's a fact that u know. Even fowls who were in Anambra when Obi was a govèrñór knows that Obi can't deliver any better society talk more of a country. |

Tochi360: Well you mustn't like him,he like anyone has critics but nonetheless critics can't dispute the stats.
Do small search on Obi's performance as Governor.
The man is more than a politician, he is a service man who just wants to deliver good services and he does it for almost free.
Ask Fidelity. Ask Jona regime. Ask Anambra.
How many politicians in Nigeria do not collect their allowances as past Governor or past Senator? Make una rest with this allowance things, we are not interested in Obi's supposed pious works, how competent was his góvèrñment? Very bad. People prayed and counted days for him to leave office. What did his not receiving allowance do for them? Life is so hard in Anambra yet u call Obi competent? I don't need to browse about him, I was in Anambra very well during his tenure. At Oba, Obosi, Onitsha I was all over that place. Obi is as bad as Yahaya Bello as a governor. If he was so good and different from Nigerian polîticians like u folks claim, Anambra will have pipeborne water, yet, drilling a borehole and selling the water is a very lucrative business in Anambra, these are boreholes that people use for free in places like Kaduna. Touts who are always ready to milk u dry are there in Anambra at that flyover and several other places. Obi is a collosal faiIure, every Anambra person knows this, they were all saying and re echoing it until Obi flew to LP in 2022 and boom!!! He becomes a savior and the best thing in the history of Nigeria. A good leader should live with the people he ruled. Obi is living in Lagos. |

Lionessza6: LMFAO, I said believe you , Nigeria is the home of expatriates in Africa and SA gatemen and housemaids are flooding your shores and so many Europeans are lecturing in Nortern Nigeria .
South African degrees remain the most preferred coming from Africa and the passport one the easiest to be admitted into foreign lands.
By calculated risks I mean we weigh our options without desperation. If for instance I'm an engineer at VW here in SA andthey have post available in Germany, I look at the salary offered, the rent at a good neighbourhood similar to where I'd be living in SA. And take into account every other bill I'll pay. The money I'm left with every month, can I get the same quality of life I'm used here :healthcare , holiday, entertainment and savings ( will I save 5 times more) coz if not why uproot my life for a low quality life in another country? Unlike what we see with you where a bank manager leaves his job for a security job in snowy Canada Bank managers don't leave their jobs for security, that's where u got it wrong, unless u are faiIed bank manager. Nobody prefers ur degree anywhere, why not put it to test? U stay holed up in ur country and assume ur degrees are preferred? LOL, if ur degrees are so preferred u won't be weighing whatever u are weighing before leaving SA because all the best jobs in Europe will be waiting for u and Nigerians, Ghañaians, Liberians and those from whatever country will get none of it because ur degrees are preferred, u mean same SA that a doctor will abandon her job to abscond with rapist? I see how great ur life conditions are, your life conditions are great in SA whenever u pick up ur phones and tablets, the moment u drop them, u go back to face ur sorry reality. DeIusion is when u think u have better quality of life in SA compared to Germany. U said initially that u confirmed from ur consulate that there are South African professors in Nigeria right? Why don't u confirm from ur consulate if there are informal workers from SA doing jobs here, this one is too difficult? I am not trying to convince u to believe that there are Europeans doing teaching jobs here, naaaa, I won't do that. U asked me to mention one school, u were so bold like u have all the data on ur table and u can confirm everything, I mentioned one school for u already, the next thing is for u to confirm for yourself. In Borno which is a hotbed for terrorism, there are so many Europeans working there. U don't even know where is Northern Nigèria and where is not Northern Nigèria, someone who doesn't know the area called Northern Nigeria thinks he knows about security in Northern Nigeria? Abuja is Northern Nigeria, there are so many many many Europeans staying in Abuja. Aside staying on Nairaland to follow what's being said, u have no other idea of ur own. I already mentioned one university for u, "mention one school" I already mentioned one, gave u courses they teach, my experience with them, there are so many other departments in same school which I know nothing about. "Mention one school" I already mentioned one. Facing reality is hard for you now? |
Politics › Re: I by JagabanB: 7:50am On Nov 14, 2023 |
Lionessza6: Point out to where I said you would lose more than the companies if they left Nigeria? You got mad because I said the taxes add to your budget and that's a fact you can't escape . Dangote cement adds to the government revenues of other countries too, South Africa included at some point. So I don't know what you're crying about here. As long as companies pay tax , they're of value that government and can never just be chased out because of emotions of some citizens. And that's why Nigerian government wouldn't just close SA firms because of lawless Nigerians in SA. I clearly told u already that I won't support Government doing that because of the stated reason. The government can decide to chase MTN out if MTN stop being their cash cow and the biggest losers will be MTN not the government, that's the fact I am pointing out to u that u find it difficult to swallow because u feel ur taxes keep our government running. The money used for the tax is our money, the money is not brought from South Africa rather it is our money taken to South Africa. If the government wake up and decide to say, "ok, MTN time to go" they will do it, that's what the Nigerian Government can readily when they feel like it. They send u out, the taxes will keep getting paid. Paying of ur taxes is of little significance, is the company adding value to the society, of course it is adding. Who are those gaining the most, Owners of MTN as SA Government, the money taken from here is added to ur budget. U talking like the government can't send MTN away because they depend on MTN to survive is a dream too tall for u. If the government is sending South African companies away, they should do it for the right reasons not for petty reasons. And of course we know they do it for petty reasons that matters to them. |
