Ok great, just got a call from them this morning after I've sent them d receipt of my purchase to them having my name on it. They said my package is ready for delivery that I should be expecting their delivery man that they called to verify my address and to knw if I'm gonna be around to sign for it..

Hello, I have some packages from shipito.com can you handle d delivery down here to lagos, if its delivered to your address in US? Im tired of Dhl, customs, dss and ndlea wahala..

Go a call from dem sayin my package is with d customs that i will recieve a mail shortly on what my cuustom duty is.. Low and behold, i got a mail telling me to go pay 40,684naira chai.. I rant rant tire.. Until people that have experience such said its better to or else im willin to fotfeit my phone.. That was how i paid ooo...
Fast forwd to diix morning, got a call from dhl tellin me customs have cleared my package and now its been held again by DSS and NDLEA - I mean, how on earth does this concerns dis two agencies? I was asked to send some impossible document like pasport page of the shipper, letter stating my relationship wit him and some other impossible to get docs.. Told d guy i bought it online, and he said i should forwad my reecipt and my national id to one an email responsible to handle my issue, which i av done tonight..

Im waiting tommorow fo theirnresponse to knw my next line of action.

the item is still with them, don't have their time now but will collect it soon. they suppose call you and forward invoice to your email provide by you on how to make payment. you can still call them for invoice and procedures on how to make the payment. you send the payment to them and they will release your item to final destination

Pls, i dnt av d intention of derailing this thread..i just need clarifications on how DHL and customs works? I av a parcel with them come in from China, now i checkedy tracking and it said customs status update ... That dey will contcct me in paying d custom duties..My thought initially was you dont pay any fee while using DHL as a courier..

Now im confused.. Cos i read online that u will be charged about 30% of d total cost of ur packagge, (which cost $650)

Pls, anyone knows how dis things work should pls mention me in quote.. Cos me no get any money to pay these guys ooo.
