casualobserver1: In the game of politics, when long term interests are at stake, all methods must be employed. The leaders of the countries I mentioned are broke. Giving bribes in the form of raw cash or foreign aid is a normal method of influence in the political world. Please ask around. including corruption? and what will happen if such corrupt practices become public knowledge? |

casualobserver1: Voicing out isn't enough, he should have deployed bribes and anything else. As the president of the country with the most to lose, the buck stops with him.
The Ikoyi loot could have been used to buy the votes of countries like Benin, Niger, Guinea, and other small countries.
This is a strategic disaster for Nigeria and it happened under Buhari's watch. That is the key fact. bribes? do you even understand your own comment? you need serious reorientation |

totit: Don't mind that one. Na abiono boy boy jare.
Let me bust another propaganda ;
What is trending now is how the lie told by Willie Obiano's media aides was exposed. The story went that two girls that were sponsored to a debate competition who came last position took pictures with the governor of Anambra State while brandishing placards bearing "we won" only for someone to check the website of the competition and saw that they actually failed woefully. Disillusioned Anambrarians are venting their anger at the deception now recalling several other deceptive information that had been passed on by the same government. The Facebook post read thus; THE MOTHER OF ALL DECEIT https://www.tabroom.com/index/tourn/results/event_results.mhtml?tourn_id=7725&result_id=43731If you recall, I shared a post here about three girls from Anambra state who went to Bali, Indonesia and (supposedly) won the World Schools Debate. They are the ones in this picture, with their state governor. My heart is bleeding now as I tell you what actually happened. The debate consisted of 53 countries. Nigeria, represented by those girls from Anambra placed a distant 48 out of 53!!! Now that was not the problem. The problem is, probably the teachers or some other persons presented the teachers and the girls to the state governor as the winners of the debate. They printed a giant poster proclaiming WORLD CHAMPIONS. Both the teachers and the students worked in collusion. And that was how they were presented to the state governor who received them with beaming smiles. And quickly rewarded them with cash and sponsorship programmes to schools of their choice. Thanks to technology someone now saw the link and found out that the team and students scammed their own governor and deceived the whole of Nigeria, Africa and the world. What a shame. Now, are these the leaders of tomorrow? The signs ahead are dark and ominous. I weep. World Champions my bootlace! https://www.tabroom.com/index/tourn/results/event_results.mhtml?tourn_id=7725&result_id=43731Other lies; http://www.newsflashngr.com/bombshell-the-bubble-finally-burst-as-gov-obianos-aides-fights-dirty-abuse-each-other-on-social-media-over-alleged-5-million-ugu-export-scam-ifeoma-onwudiwe-calls-for-the-sack-of-james-ez/

Your votes were just just token and the north has reminded you of this many times since buhari took over token indeed!!! yet your people keep wailing about 2015 Yoruba betrayal voted aside the storm and media wildfire that wrecked Jonathan in 2015 started from the south west!!! you know how powerful the southwest media is. the southwest gave buhari the new image through tinubu. lai Mohammed and tinubu led media were the missile guidance system of the opposition ACN/APC. you think buhari would have won the presidential election with CPC and ANPP mergers alone? you are political neophyte that thinks everything boils down to votes alone |

casualobserver1: And so it begins. Nigeria's slide into irrelevance in ECOWAS is now a matter of time. With Morocco joining, the French will have an even more potent means of dumping thier goods into ECOWAS countries, further stunting growth in the region.
Buhari's parochial nature are to blame for this. I wonder if a lawyer can sue and state that Morocco cannot join due to the geographic position of the country. ECOWAS countries made a decision and buhari voiced out against it yet you are already blaming him? buhari is not responsible for all your life troubles. learn to comment with sense |

OnucheAdams: I was - and is still - an advocate for floating the Naira. Had Buhari towed that path, the Naira certainly wouldn't have ballooned to 500, and would have found its level at circa 300. The spike in exchange rate was due to the heightened uncertainty brought about by inconsistent Government policies, which further created room for speculators...
The amounts spent subsidizing the Dollar should have gone towards building sustainable infrastructure.... funny guy. if he floated the naira then it will go as high as 700/800 at least!!! |
