360command: bro, I understand what u mean and the protocols involve when calling in an airplane . But at the time she called, we were almost landing and I had this feeling that she must have looked through the window and discovered that there was no light @ certain part of lagos which was when she called for confirmation. We are not allowed to pick or make calls in the bank but we still see a few people doing it . Would you want to tell me the same as to what you wrote above?

PoliticsRe: You Call Home To Ask If There's Light: Why? by jakedes(m): 1:44pm On Jun 09, 2013
360command: what you wrote actually reminded me of an event that happened while in the plane on nigerian airspace when a woman called her family to ask if there is light back home. So sad when they her that there was no light . I could feel her pain and felt sympathetic about the light situation in nigeria. Coming from a country where there is light only for you to arrive to your own country and hear no light. The woman then said to the people back home that they should buy fuel and put in the generator.
answer call for flying plane?...bros abeg mk i drop here heat 2 much....

Its really important you train your children in your local language just like one of my best friends would say "Having the knowlegde of being an African and Nigerian was as a result of the comming of the whites but being an IGBO..is what i was before the white came"...just imagine them teach u chemistry ,maths or physics with your local language...u would have been a guru...take an example with top european countries...hw many German profs speak English...?

CelebritiesRe: Talented Celebrities That Refused To Drop-Out From School by jakedes(m): 10:27am On May 04, 2013
Singing is a talent...you can't serve 2 masters at the same time unless you are a guru (jini) and you all should know all fingers r nt equall
Nigeria is the country you find a person with more than 1 certificate but no job...these musicians found out their talent on time and focus on it why do you argue so much on this issue...the reason that made our youths loose interest in tertiary education is that Nigeria has a failed education system...they refer forcing themselves into the entertainment world..gone are the days of when our fathers and old lecturers went to school the system was fine and equiped with good technology and dedicated teachers who are willing to teach you and make you understand...now its all mess...

This unsincere Nigerian guy must be laughing and feeling like a celebrity...we have fell for the guy's attention seeking by building so much comment on his unsincere thread...please just un-follow and stop the commenting...just keep your opinons and griveance to heart tills the dooms day..the more you talk and comment they more they build up a new strategy to enhance the corrupt activities...so please stop the comments..
PoliticsRe: Corruption In Nigeria: Is It Reducing Or Increasing? by jakedes(m): 10:28pm On Mar 31, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: I dont think it is right for some persons to post whatever comment they like or arrive at their conclusions based on emotions or to get back at the president or myself. This thread is not about anyone but about Nigeria.

We shouldn't forget in hurry that in this same country, in the late 80s and early 90s, a certain IBB allegedly stole $12billion dollars and NOTHING happened. Not even a public outcry because even the public was in the dark.

In this same country, Abacha stole billions of dollars unscathed. Not until he died, Nigerians were in the dark as to how corrupt Abacha and his govt was. If the heads of those govt were stealing in billions of dollars, how much were their foot solders nationwide stealing? NOBODY knows till date.

I have not said corruption has been eradicated in Nigeria but I only submitted that it has reduced. I tried to do my analysis as OBJECTIVELY as possible. Those who have superior analysis to show increasing corruption should bring it on.

Conclusions largely based on SENTIMENTS and EMOTIONS are unacceptable.
No body is drawing conclusions here based on mere sentiment..what I am asking is on what analysis was this survey of yours carried out on?
