Chanchit: This is not about supporting mediocrity or not, people device new ways to cheat. Even this jamb cbt has been compromised already. For all this to stop, students must stop looking for cheats, but if 99% are still waiting for cheat, then I'm sorry, this is not ready to go. Good. You are talking now! We must resist corruption by all means because it breeds mediocrity. Nigeria is the way it is today because mediocres infiltrated, adulterated and polluted the system by cutting corners and sadly, influencing the capable ones to tow the easy way out syndrome. Without giving merit its place in the scheme of things, our resources will be continuously plundered by heartless, conscienceless people who have no respect for public office because they did not merit it. |

Chanchit: Smh! There is no justice in the world already, examination malpractice is a global phenomenon. But since you are both convinced that I'm the useless one here, then advice the op to atleast mention the name of the school, lemme help destroy the career of everybody that did exam there including him and the teachers. So if I see you I should kill you because, "There is no justice in the world ,,,"? Look, for human beings to live in peace there must be laws guiding the relationship. There is law against exam malpractice too. So, why must we ignore the law for selfish reasons? Any student who wangles his way through secondary school, will surely wangle his way through tertiary education, thereby resulting in numerous unqualified graduates brandishing certificates they don't merit . Secondary school is the best place to separate the chaff from the wheat. Today in Nigeria, we talk of unemployment of youths. How can a youth who does not know his left from his right be employed? Sadly, because of general corruption, those who do not worth their salt hold sway in various offices due to "connection", no wonder things are not working in the country. Note that education to the highest level is meant for those who worth their salt, not mediocre. Are you happy that Nigeria certificates are looked at with disdain by foreign countries? Finally, we must not support mediocrity and should not discourage those who have the gut to fight corruption. Thanks. |

You still have a long way to go, I pity the people that would cross your path in the future cos people like you would hurt yourself just to hurt others.
The only thing you should think of getting from all this is bragging right, that you did the exam on your own not reporting right. Did you write this with your conscience or with your corrupted mind? From your response, you are one of those who have turned Nigeria into a zoo. You have no pride at all. You must be one of those who reap where they did not sow. Surely, you are one of those who use man know man to achieve your progress and you will call the corrupt act, "God's blessing". I pity you! |

modelmike7: He deserved the sack after not upholding to the Oath of Office he took when he accepted to serve the Nigerian Army. He is not a loyal soldier but a cash and carry one. He should thank his stars he wasn't sent to jail. He should have cooly retired after PMB won. Well, he should just go back to his village and enjoy the rest of his years. . . . God bless Nigeria. Which oath of office? Do you want him to lie? What loyalty? Do you want the officer to manufacture one for Buhari? As far as I'm concerned, the officer performed his function well. To hell with what ever vindictive action taken against him. The officer should go to court to challenge his retirement. |

TheWisest: Let's start with WHEN was he killed? If he was killed immediately he was taken out of town in those initial hours, then it's an assassination case. If he was preserved a day or so, but tried to fight his kidnappers and escape them, then he was kidnapped for ransom reasons. It's a fact his wife was dropped off safely without harm. It means someone above in office who knows him closely gave strict instructions for the wife to be unharmed. The Colonel was assassinated by a fellow army officer. My hunch.
P.S: I'd rule out the Boko Haram theory. Too organized and bold for them to execute. They wouldn't have spared his wife too. And he wasn't kidnapped for information extraction; the measures taken were too grave for that. And if he was privy to sensitive information, he wouldn't be without guards. Remember he was a Colonel and army school instructor. He never expected this. He was killed by someone above him and close to his family. Very close. Bolded is very likely. |

DaBullIT: Sorry this may sound insensitive
But now is not the time to grieve
He was kidnapped, tortured and killed ( story said his body was bloodied !)
Shouldn't Nigerian Army tighten their grips ?
Because i think there are two things involved
If he was kidnapped by BH , they probably got information out of him, sensitive information , armory , location, Operation plans e.t.c which may be detrimental to Nigeria's security
On the other hand if he was killed by a fellow army member , they probably killed him because he knew something, an internal investigation should be conducted and soon or else a big conspiracy might be in place ( probably corruption related) The bolded seems very likely to me. |
