Bros check my previous posts. I never supported the SOE thing. It didn't work before so there's no guarantee it will work now. They say it's madness to keep doing the same thing and expect a different result. The situation calls for new ideas but our govt is too lazy to think.
] Stop saying that. Suggest your NEW IDEAS. You think leadership na classroom work?
Politics › Re: Mobile-Phone Service Cut-off In Borno, Yobe by jamace(m): 8:36pm On May 16, 2013
HNosegbe: I'm really worried with the recent turn of events. The potential loss of innocent civilian lives from military airstrikes and related "projections of hard power" may make Baga look like a carnival.

I fear that Goodluck Jonathan, in an attempt to avoid being seen as weak, may have bitten off more than he can chew.

Boko Haram is a fragmented, shadowy sect. Insurgents such as BH can NEVER be defeated in open, attritional warfare.

My view remains what it has always been: This security threat can only be curtailed with superior intelligence gathering, coupled with an intensive campaign to win hearts and minds which will involve a combination of witness protection (for BH members willing to defect and provide valuable information) to provision of emergency social services for affected communities, to investment in emergency public works programmes to create jobs for the unemployed, to the commitment of special funds for the restoration of Lake Chad.

The government must work to induce potential defectors to come forward with valuable information on who the backers and financiers of BH are, and in exchange such defectors can be offered amnesty as well as witness protection for them as well as their families.

By doing these, you can show the indigenes that you're really concerned about their welfare (thereby increasing government goodwill and reducing local sympathy for the BH cause).

But as long as Jonathan continues with this heavy-handed approach, I fear the war will continue for years to come.

P.S: Meanwhile, what is being done about the borders?
I also think that BH is assuming GEJ to be a weak President hence their resolve to continue to kill, maim, terrorise law abiding citizens and destabilise the government. So, I support GEJ's "highhandedness" to restore sanity to Nigeria.

How else do you want to win the hearts and minds of rebels who have refused government amnesty programme and has gone ahead to create parallel government to the federal government? I strongly support the government to deal with those recalcitrant deviants.

Whatever one may think, the situation now is more than what classroom theory can solve. It requires physical drastic military action.

Carry go GEJ! Carry go FGN.

Investment › Re: Sudden Change In Okomuoil Stock by jamace(m): 9:53am On May 15, 2013
^^^ The reason for this price adjustment is because Okomu Oil declared a bonus of 1 for 1 meaning that a shareholder will get one share for each share held by him or her. For example, if someone is holding 10 shares, he will get 10 more (20 in total). The shareholders do not pay anything for these shares.
Usually, after the bonus issue, the share price of the company gets adjusted according to the bonus ratio. Since the price before the bonus issue was about N100 and Okomu Oil issued bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1, the post-bonus share price will be N50, which means that the total market value (2 x N50 = N100) remains the same.
Correct! cool

Good decision, Mr President.

Now the die is cast. Boko Haram should surrender immediately else those angry soldiers will castrate them one by one.

They are both one and the same thing, except for semantics sake. cheesy

Both of them are aiming at the SAME OBJECTIVE, to make profits. grin

None of them is 100% sure that the objective will be achieved. cheesy

Both of them have put into consideration certain factors before carrying out the transaction. grin

Despite the factors considered, both of them live on FAITH to get to the objective. cheesy

Its like CSCS Online is getting too much volume of transactions to document these days. I got a TRADE ALERT 3 days after my broker carried out a transaction on my account. And my CSCS account was updated of transaction 4 days later.

CSCS ONLINE, please do not rest on your oars because you are the great arbiter between the client and the broker.

Thank you.

Who are those castigating that man for his action? Is it because he is just an ordinary corporal? Our ogas at the top do worse things to Nigeria. Loyalty to Nigeria is a bygone issue. Even GEJ will not allow any evil befall his OTUOKE town without doing everything possible to frustrate it. Even those men torturing Mr Enugu will do worse.

We should stop deceiving ourselves and face reality. Loyalty to Nigeria as a country has gone on sabbatical.

Because this woman is a nobody, journalists published her name without batting an eyelid. If she were to be one big man or big woman at the top, her name will have been withheld.

And for the judge, because she is not a big woman or bigman in the society, you gave her a bail of N500,000 and 2 sureties IN LIKE SUM for an alleged offence of N1,900,000. Remember judge, that you will be judged according to how you judged one day.

It is just unfortunate that Nigeria has been made a jungle even by those who are supposed to protect it. The so-called professionals have turned Nigeria into a disgusting ANIMAL FARM. Woe unto them.

Wow!! shocked shocked What an ambush and a great loss to our security operatives!! shocked

The problem with these criminals is that they will use innocent women and children as shield, to attract sympathy should the security forces retaliate. I can't see the security forces not giving Odi/Zakibiam/Bama treatment to the village where that killing took place. I mean, the security forces are going to react in a ferocious manner.

I hope human rights activists are aware of this outright provocation of the security forces?.
