If you are anywhere near Ojota, it's time to go home. Pass the message across to as many people you can reach.
Soldiers are not sent to threaten people, they are sent to kill. and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.
Next election, if someone  with history of incompetence in government tells you he was once without shirt, of course you should know what to do.
Stop that propaganda. Soldiers are never sent to kill protesters. If you don't have the balls to protest, let those who have do it for you. Thank you.
Politics › Re: President Jonathan Approves N97/Litre As The New Pump Price For Petrol by jamace(m): 9:16am On Jan 16, 2012
I would advice you to tell the people to go home.

The soldiers would kill according to the order.
Please, if you can't protest,  don't discourage others from protesting. If the soldiers dare kill, hell will be let loose. Govt belongs to the people, not the leaders.

So we can not even trust the NASS any longer. They told GEJ to revert to N65 for negotiation to contnue and GEJ disobeyed? What is the response of NASS to this? And where is the rule of law?.

The opponent of the subsidy are only out to muddle up the water. The government have superior argument.
Govt should not turn governance into mere academic exercise. Govt should rather execute Superior welfare program instead of mere superior argument.

Some protesters don't even know the meaning of subsidy. Some have said it is a "fundamental human right". I call it blind protest.
BUT the masses know that their expenses have suddenly shoot up?

Asari has entered the  circle of govt courtesy amnesty programme. He enjoys anything enjoyable from the govt therefore he can spew anything out of his mumphed mouth.

I learnt he just came back from hajj on govt sponsorship, no wonder he is so vocal in his support of gej govt. Unfortunately, he does not mind the rest of his poor ND people wallow in abject poverty. NDeltan, be wise. Don't listen to Asari who is eating from govt purse while you sweat to survive in your creeks.

N200,000 is required to rear them to maturity for about 8 weeks ( i.e 1k per bird). Depending on the area you are, a bird weighing 2kg could go for at least N1,300. During festive seasons, you can make a profit up to 150% on your investment.

Note: I'm into poultry farming as a hobby. I am talking from experience NOT theory.

He is one of the biggest cabals in GEJ's govt. GEJ will rather punish the masses that deal with one of the cabals like Adoke.

By the way, is LAMOURDE, the EFCC boss not aware of this?
Politics › Re: Breaking News: Efcc Detains Adenuga, Otedola And Others. by jamace(m): 9:37am On Jan 15, 2012
We are already misunderstanding ourselves, because we need to find out the veiled motives behind the sponsors of fuel subsidy removal protest. Dalu
What motives are you talking about here? Is it not better to allow the fuel subsidy be and allow the cabal to carry on biz as usual as GEJ is timid to use his constitutional force on the cabal than remove subsidy and further impoverish the people? If GEJ is for the masses, GEJ should set in place the enabling environment before removing the subsidy. The masses are suffering untold hardship. GEJ should remember his own background and be considerate.

Politics › The 4-way Test To The Removal Of Fuel Subsidy by jamace(op): 8:56am On Jan 15, 2012
The govt should apply the 4-WAY TEST to the removal of fuel subsidy:

1. Is it the TRUTH? - Yes. Removal of fuel subsidy will end the importation corruption in the oil industry and provide the govt additional fund to run the govt.

2. Is it FAIR to All Concerned? - No. Removal of subsidy will bring higher payment for services particularly transportation which has doubled and salary remains constant. Therefore it is not fair to the average/low wage earners. Not fair to all concerned.

3. Will it Build GOODWILL and Better Friendships? - No. The leaders who are rich can still afford good life while the masses already impoverished condition will be worsened. The leaders who are rich will be happy but the poor masses will be in more trouble. Therefore there is no goodwill and better friendship between the leaders and the led.

4. Will it Be BENEFICIAL to All Concerned? No. It has adverse economic/financial effect on the present condition of the people. Therefore, it is not BENEFICIAL to All Concerned.

Conclusion: Govt should not implement the removal of fuel subsidy.
Politics › Re: Subsidy Removal: The Govt Has A Superior Argument Than NLC/TUC And Civil Society by jamace(m): 8:20am On Jan 15, 2012
Lie!!!
Fuel here is 2.9 USD in the cheapest places and up to 4.0 USD in expensive places
141 Naira (cost of fuel after subsidy removal) is less than 1.0 USD.

The only correct argument you make is in terms of salaries and even that is a bad comparison to make (USA versus Nigeria).
You should stop comparing Nigeria with the US. Nigeria is Nigeria and US is US.
The masses are concerned with the effect of the subsidy removal on their purchasing  power and services.
Politics › Re: Subsidy Removal: The Govt Has A Superior Argument Than NLC/TUC And Civil Society by jamace(m): 7:44am On Jan 15, 2012
^^^^^
Based on what I see on that video, Diezani Madueke also advanced solid points
Femi Falana was all noise and sentiments, no substance
It is imperative that govt  eliminate the "noise" first before executing the "advanced solid points".

The crux of the matter is that the quality of life and wellfare of the Nigerian masses/workers should be paramount when executing any govt plan/decision. You should not put additional burden on the already impoverished masses because you have a beautiful plan on PAPER. I said on paper because Nigerian budgets never have/show comensurate effect on the ground, corruption of the leaders always swallow the beautiful plan.

By the way, how can we accept "advanced solid points" from a person who is in charge of an organisation that she can not effectively manage?

The masses are tired of paper leadership that adds to their already battered well-being.
