To be honest, these pictures are not clear enough. Look for a phone with very good camera and snap again so that even after cropping and realizing, the picture will still be of higher quality.

|

Making History Naija, in conjunction with the University of Ilorin Students Union, is bringing a Guinness World Record official attempt to the Emirates City, the city of Ilorin. The Guinness World Record to be broken is the most people opening can drinks simultaneously at the same venue. The current record, for opening can drinks simultaneously at a single venue is being held by Career Consulting Co. Ltd. and was achieved by 1,149 people at Urayasu, Japan on the 24th of January 2016. We are going to break this record this time with over 3000 people, mostly students from the Better By Far University. The event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 5th of July, 2017 at the University of Ilorin Sports Centre. On the said day, 3000 students will be counted and accredited by use of barcodes as preapproved by Guinness World Records PLC. Each person will be given can drink for free and everyone will open theirs after an signal is given. Every activity on this day will be taken on camera by use of drone-assisted cameras. Videos taken are to be sent to Guinness World Records for accreditation and certification, if successful. As laid down by Guinness World Records rules, at least two independent witnesses are required, where the attempt has less than 5000 participants, to directly oversee the counting process and perform spot checks on other activities during the event. Stewards from a 3rd party organization are to be used on this event day. A steward is required to directly supervise the activities of 50 participants, positioned in a clearly delineated area. Each steward is to ensure full participation of all participants and note any participants who need to be deducted from the final total either for non-participation or for leaving the allocated area. Guinness World Records reserves the right that if 10% of the total number of participants are disqualified from the attempt for incorrect or non-participation, the entire attempt will be disqualified.
