Good afternoon all..I created this thread cause I am scared and have been feeling down for the past 4weeks now.
It all started in about 4 -5weeks ago..september 5 to be precise..I went out to play football at dawn like every other human being..I observed that as I was playing football..i was getting tired easily and headache was banging..when i step aside to rest..i recover and the headache reduces...i go in again and the same thing happens. I thought it was normal headache, went home took paracetamol and slept. It subsided and came back. I started taking paracetamol to subdue ot which continued for about 3 days before I decided to visit our factory clinic.
I was tested for malaria which came out negative, blood sugar which read 94 and blood pressure which was normal..I was later given neopiflex amoxil and paracetamol plus vitamin c..I took it through out the weekend but was not seeing any improvement..anytime I take the paracetamol the headache will subside for a while and come back.
I decided to visit general hospital the following tuesday. Met the doctor and stated my symptoms..he said I should go for urinalysis, FBC and malaria and typhoid..which I did and I feel they all came out negative..so he said it was migraine prescribed anti spamz drug and act and one bottle of amino pep..
Within that period I started having problems with my vision..I feel they are not the way they used to be..one of my eyes feels heavy..went to see an eye doctor..he checked my eye and said my nothing wrong with my eye socket just that the pressure is on my right eye is much reading 22mmhg..he gave me 2 eye drops namely oradol and trimosol..
Why am writing this is because I am scared..I googled my symptoms and the results where brain tumour..was feeling nausea at some point, now somethings I feel my right arm is weak and tinnitus occurs in my ears. I started analysing my speech and observed that I tend to forget what to say most times. Recently I lost a substantial amount of weight for no just reason..I don't exercise and my diet has not changed. all this revelations are making me scared..
I opted to do a MRI for my head but when I went to the diagnostic centre.. clinix to be precise..I was told I would require a note from a neurologist for that investigation to be done..now going back to the doctor at igando general hospital..the doctor told me I don't have tumour that's it all in my head..but am not feeling normal..I read early detection of cancer reduces mortality by about 50%..that's why am worried..how do I go about it please..and anyone can direct me to meet a neurologist pls...

How were you able to solve this problem please?

1.Please any Doctor practicing as a GP in Australia or doing MSc?
2. if yes, please which Masters do you recommend that would be a plus in my career and which school? (A city I can easily find job while studying)
3. Wanted to go for Public Health, but last I checked, MPH isnt in Australian list of skilled occupation, then Radiology but must of its MSc courses are online
5. Is IELTS required in all universities? An agent told me in Griffith for example a WAEC English grade of C5 or better is ok
4. what are your recommendations please. N.B Im Planing to sit for AMC exams during my MSc period

I will advise you to contact your school mates for your specific transcript. There is no uniform transcript across Nursing education, only the curriculum is the same. I do not expect anybody on the forum to send their transcript to you. Hope that helps.

Good morning great nurses please I need a copy of nursing school transcript. I want it to be evaluated for a school I want to apply abroad whether I'll be accepted. they want to see the courses i offered at d college. I can't get mine due to d current situation of d country school closed and all. So is there anywhere I can get it online and download it or can anyone help me with his or hers. I'm a medical student, and gf ( not sure what to call her now) is in MLS. We are both in same level (500l).

It all started in 2015, when we gained admission into the University. We began to read together and subsequently I started teaching her. Later on, she made me to read and susummarize her course topics (which I did for up to her 300 level) for her as she usually found it difficult to read with textbooks and understand the contents.

Months before my 2nd MBBS examinations, I began to notice changes in her attitude and behaviour towards me, up to the point that she told me that if I did not pass that examinations that, she will forget about me. But as God may have it, I passed successfully.

Financially, it started right in year one as I celebrated her and her mummy's Christmas from my own pocket. It got to a point that I usually give her her money almost every day (for up to 5yrs) Whenever, I'm traveling in any of our vacations, I usually give money for upkeep until I'm back.

In 300l, I bought her gift worth almost 30k and also celebrated her birthday which she demanded I get her 'point and kill cat fish' that cost 9k.

I usually pay for her textbooks and seminar work as we are all in medical school, I really do a lot for her, as she always told me she would never leave me right from yr 1 to 500l after which she started telling me, their people from Anambra will not let her marry people from Ebonyi State.

She's has known this for all her life, but decided to bring it up just now, when I'm beginning my marriage plans with her, She's started giving me unnecessary excuses in one form or the other.

In 400L, my elder brother told me that I should leave my medical school here to go and study the same medicine abroad. Because of her, I told him that I want to finish my school here since I am already in 400 level. That after my MBBS degree, I can then go abroad for my Masters degree...

This January, my elder brother told me that since I would be graduating in 2022 (which supposed to be 2021 but due to strike before the 2019 election) which is two years time, that I should be planning to get married before I leave this country.

This made me to ask her again if we are ending up together and she told me that she has to seek for her mother's consent, and would give me a feedback.

Before, she travelled (this is just before the lock down) as she was complaining that she does not have any money on her to eat and she want to go and learn how to plait hair which will cost her #8,000, I gave her #16,000. The next day after collecting the money, she told me that she received a call from her mother that she must come back to her State and she travelled with that money without learning anything.

Yesterday by 8:24pm, I called her to tell me the outcome of her mother's discussion with her. She told me that her mother insisted that she cannot marry an Ebonyi man, and she cannot go outside her mother's decision.

In conclusion, she told me that she cannot marry me.

Well, as expected, I'm bracing myself up for insults, (I really don't mind this right now) but amidst the insults, pls advice a brother who's fighting emotionally.

Dont loose your sanity for a girl who never saw talkless of appreciated your love and effort. you sacrificed so much.
I know this can be so painful to some extent if she really loved you and not having another person in mind all these wont happen. See if she wants to spend her life with you she can even get pregnant for u and then forced to marriage everything will be over in no time. Besides you have a promising future not like you can't care for her.
This is not a generation where parents influence their children any longer. They don't brother you can always find a way out if she really wanted to.




You have a bright future ahead of you and trust me the best is yet to come you may feel you cant love another girl like her but trust me these kind of girls are the easiest to forget when u start to mingle and get to see you are worth more than that ill treatment u will look back and laugh at her stupidity and yours too.

You people are not doing good. nurses are selfish. What happens to those who just have RN through nursing school you people should please suggest where we can upgrade our certificate of nursing school (RN) to bsc abroad within a short time like in 1 year....tell us the name of the schools you don't.

The school am applying to in france said their progrm is in french but am not fluent they gave me an option to enroll with their CIEF center over there before i begin the main program.. My question now is dat, is it advisable to apply to their CIEF center program or i should apply directly to the program and register for french classes here in Nigeria?
Note: the CIEF center will provide me with a letter with which i can apply for long stay visa

Nigerians have a silly mentality of "They must go through the same process" and it's very bad. Funny enough, a nurse I know was given an "unconditional" admission into a UK university to do her masters because of knowledge she got during her Nursing diploma and her friend a medical doctor was given a "conditional" admission because she lacked the same knowledge..
