Atiku4betaNaija: 5 Billion Dollar MTN fine Early in Buhari govt without even a policy direction in place and heavy economic uncertainty the Buhari govt in its bid to raise cheap funds will make a very bad mistake by fining telecoms success story MTN a mind boggling whooping 5 billion dollars for failing to properly register less than 1% of its subscribers a practice common with all 4 mobile Telcos in the country but surprisingly only MTN was singled out for this quite suspect fine which may industry observers have said is nothing short of a grandiose approach to executive extortion but that's as story for another day , the bottom line is that this poorly thought out fine triggered a megathrust of capital flight out of the country by many private sector players including the same same MTN who feared that same fate could befall them under the knee jerk Buhari govt and in less than 4 weeks over 80 billion dollars was spirited out of the Nigerian Govt under the nose of Buhari in one of the greatest mass capital flight ever recorded in a developing economy. The Outcome : The capital flight triggered by the fine would put further strain on the economy once more and slow down any further new investments by such players , MTN will go further and cut it's support for thousands of small Nigerian Businesses and ideas citing lack of funds ( yours faithfully lost a lucrative advertising business my company ran regularly with MTN) MTN will drop many youth ambassadors it sponsored. Bro, please keep sharing this. Thanks. |

(For whatever reason) do you even know the meaning of what you just typed.
Abeg, You're not even worth the time at all....you've earned a "dunce" cap with your comment already! I've always known Zombies to be terrible at words denotation, so i can understand if my context barely makes sense to you. Why don't you take up the gun and kill people yourself since you really believe that would bring peace. Your country has a constitution if your dictator President can't affirm to it, then truly he is a tyrant like they say. I can understand even with odds you'd still gladly stand by PMB, I just realized truly you all are lifeless. Your can use your presumed complex words to connote your stupid ideology, thinking you are smart but truly you are just as lifeless as the rest of your zombies inveterate supports of PMB, next time used words that are truly complex and not basic word that even a 5year old can comprehend with ease, I shouldn't be expecting much from a dumb zombie, huh? lol. mumu. |

And yes, we need a Tyrant to right all the wrongs of the morally depraved, Nigeria is really not a conventional society. Hopefully it would be a member of your Family who would ignorantly snatch ballot boxes as a result of financial promises made by a political party, there and then you'd feel blissful about the whole occurrence and praise buhari for the death of your own. rentAcock: He may not be the most outspoken, eloquent or articulated one, but without question everyone regardless of party affiliation can attest that President Buhari is a humble, modest and down to earth guy. He has good intentions. Despite taking over when the value of crude oil dropped drastically globally which resulted in inflation and the devaluation of our currency, he was still able to improvise means to cork the bleeding and steer the economy towards the right direction.
It's not his fault that 85% of our budget relies on sales of crude oil, so any little hiccup in the international markets results in aftershocks in Nigeria. Despite the challenges, Nigeria's economy still fared better than Russia and Venezuela's, both countries also rely on crude oil.
And on this ground and premise I say I stand and support Buhari for what he has done and what he will do. I plead with you all to give him another 4 years to finish what he has started. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria and God bless President Buhari. A total delusional rant. Nothing you stated is factual. Inflation came about as a result of Fuel Subsidy gotten rid of by the demented brute called Buhari. |

I’m telling you, today, that Buhari will win. “On Saturday, if the Igbo support Buhari and he wins, in 2023, Igbo will have the right to demand Igbo presidency. I can't even fathom how Atiku and his cronies would forcefully retire airlines staffs after the shambolic privatisation by him without paying their pension until Buhari administration came in and pay them all. PDP neva again.
Despite Buhari administration earning 60% less yet he's come up with plenty projects such as
Our railways at itakpewarri, Lagos-ibadan, kaduna-abuja etc,
The production of low cost fertilizers,
Zik maoseleum
Baro inland port,
Rice mills,
Foreign reserve increase from #26b to #43b,
Construction of our express highways such as enuguonitsha, Lagos-ibadan etc.
Social policy schemes such as tradermoni, npower etc
And most especially, stabilizing us through this recession which happened because jonathan failed to save despite earning 60% more than Buhari coupled with the fall in the price of crude oil from #110 per barrel in 5 years under Jonathan to a paltry #50 per barrel under Buhari administration yet Buhari was able to keep us afloat while having many projects to his name thereby surprising Ngozi Iweala and Charles Soludo who predicted recession because jonathan failed to save during the time of plentiful.

diadem10: Getting rid of what fuel subsidy? Did you know how much is fuel in Ghana and Zimbabwe? It ranges from 500 to 1000 per litre. Buhari didn't remove any subsidy. If he did, you wouldn't even be able to live. He only reduced subsidy rates, he didn't remove it. Did you just compare Ghana with Nigeria? When did oil become among the natural resources in Ghana and Zimbabwe. Nigeria should be greatly richer than those countries you mentioned. Our revenue is being mismanaged. Reduction you say that led to masses suffering and inflation setting in. |

TIGRITIS: Pigs presently in a dilemma.
Kanu originally owns the pigs.
In the wake of python dance which led to the death of kanu's most treasured nkita, kanu decided to abandon his brainless pigs who can't lay their lives for his nkita.
While kanu was still mourning his nkita, this Cameroonian came to the rescue of the pigs with load of promises to the pigs and by default automatically inherited kanu's pigs.
Kanu is almost done mourning his nkita and getting ready to get back his pigs.
The stage is getting set for a show down between kanu and the Cameroonian and the question now is, which of the two gods will the pigs support.
Pigs in a dilemma. Oh, I think he's talking about the Afonjas. |
