Please I need someone to repair my portable LCD screen DVD player. Each time it plays the first two tracks in an audio cd, it starts to hang even when it is still rolling. Even in video cd, it will play for some time and hang.

I thought it was the lens; so I got someone to change it but it is still d same situation.

I am preparing 4 d final hurdle in ICAN exams (I will sit 4 d exams by May 2008). I am IT literate and I can prepare final accounts with d use of accounting software packages and Microsoft excel spreadsheet.

My area of competence also includes preparation of bank reconciliation statements, corporate banking activities, computation and filing of Value Added Tax (VAT) returns.

Gettolove, I am impressed. Tell me; how do u mean by d circumstances that surrounded ur preparation for last Diet even when ur frnds that had all d time only passed one paper.

I am a very busy person as well. I will appreciate it if u can giv me tips on how I can fly high dis May 2008 Diet irrespective of 'little or no time'. Remember, it is not so much of HAVING ALL D TIME, but what I do with d time I av.

1. ICAN FA2 STUDY PACK (FOR KNOWLEDGE)
2. WYSE FA2 STUDY KIT (4 SINCERE PRACTICE)
3. ICAN PILOT (TAKE NOTE OF THE QUESTN STYLES)
4. ICAN PATHFINDER (MIN. OF 1O DIET IS OKAY)*

*Take note of the Examiner's comment; they culd b very helpful. If u dnt mind, u can make jottings of all the answers the theoretical questions - they will b very useful QUICK REVISION TOOLS days and hours b4 the FA2 paper for May 2008 Diet.

Draw a target in ur mind to score a min. of 8/9 marks in the OBJ and a min. of 20/24 in d SHORT ANSWERS not to talk of the optional questns (4 out of 6 ) where u will av the opportunity to display the knowledge u av acquired in the use of ICAN pack (including the glossaries) and the practice kits - wyse kit, pilot and pathfinder. U really dnt av any excuse y u must not deal a DEATH BLOW to FA 2 dis Diet.

If u are in Lagos or have frnds/relations here, get a book on TAXATION by one SEYI OJO. It is very loaded. If u av any frnd who is into ICAN; he wuld b in a better position to help.

Better still, u can visit ICAN library at Oyingbo in Lagos opposite Denton police station.

I am glad to inform u guys that I passed the November 2007 ICAN PE 2 examinations. I sat for 2 references in Financial Accounting 2 (FA 2) and Management Accounting (MA). ICAN served into hands and God really favoured me as well.

I cant help but to continue in tears of joy when I saw the result yesterday.I am grateful to God for the various discussions on this site on ICAN exams.

I will begin my ICAN PE 3 (final stage) lectures at WYSE ASSOCIATES 2moro Saturday 260108;please, can someone advise me candidly on how I can deal a DEATH BLOW to this final stage.

IT IS A GREAT DESIRE IN MY HEART TO QUALIFY AS A CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT AFTER I AV WRITTEN THE EXAMS IN MAY 2008 DIET BY JULY 2008 WHEN THE RESULT IS RELEASED.

I happy to let u all know that I now have a solution to my accomodation problem. I hope u still remember the particular thread on accomodation problem, I now av a solution.

A lady from the United States of America offered help to me. Dis lady is a registered member of Nairaland. She actually sent me 1,520 usd to at my own convenience and she did not collect any collateral. I av also promised not to disappoint her by ensuring that I pay back within the agreed no. of months.

Even when I told her I didnt av an International passport, she made a fresh arrangement 4 me to get the Dollars from her sister who works with one of the banks here in Lagos.

My gratitude goes to the Almighty God who sees the hearts of men even when some person thought I was just cooking up a cock and bull story.

Seun, I appreciate ur mindset and the validation u gave me even though we have not met one on one. May the Almighty God continue to increase ur insight - u can c, every other persons are also putting up a site like urs, but at Nairaland, WE APPROVE U AS NUMBER ONE (A NUMERO UNO).

I am 30 and I just completed ICAN PE2 exams. I have suffered through to this stage living in the school where I recieve lectures even though I am working with a megre salary.

I just took up an appointment with a company that seems to be a bit okay than where I am coming from and I am considering taking a loan facility from a bank since nobody is willing to assist me with N180000 for a single room self contained apartment and I av only spent 2 months with dis coy.

Please advise me in case there are negative implicative implications to the step I am about to take.

Pls advise me; I am an ICAN AAT graduate and I am not yet a degree holder. I will complete ICAN PE 2 this November and Iam also computer literate. Where I work presently, what I earn monthly is N37525 (BEFORE TAX). Please advise me because Iam afraid if Ican build my future on that. Thank you
