But I am prepared now and I will like to ask if anyone has an idea of the processes involved. Or a contact person there.
I wish to tour the facility. Please help if you’re experienced in this.

I am currently selecting schools and courses and I want to inquire if I will be writing my research proposal around the research topics that was highlighted in each of those courses… OR I am to come up with my own proposal that should be in line with those topics…

follow these steps.

1. log into your scholarship portal
2. Look at the number at the end of your profile in the url. it will be a 3 or 4 digit number in the form of https://scholarship[dot]ptdf[dot]gov[dot]ng/dashboard/scholar/[NUM]/

3. enter the url https://scholarship[dot]ptdf[dot]gov[dot]ng/application/applicant/[NUM] and you will see the page for you to start a new application.

Sorry to ask, but what degree were you awarded for the ISS? MSc or PhD?

Hy, to create a new application using same account follow these steps:

1. Login to your ptdf scholarship account.
2. Click on the top left corner (those lines/menu icon)
3. Click on Home from the options that appear.
4. You will see all your previous applications (if you have applied to ISS or OSS before. At the top, you will see a button that says NEW APPLICATION. click it and agree to their terms & conditions.
5. You will see a form, fill it. The form will have a section that gives you the option to choose whether you want to apply for OSSS or ISSS. So select the one you want, fill the whole form and submit.
6. Once you create the new application you can always access it by click the menu icon at the top left of your screen and then click on Home from the options. There you will see all your applications, scroll to the right and click on Update to finish your application.

Yes you are supposed to come back to Nigeria but you can be allowed to stay abroad if you write to ptdf, stating your reason for wanting to stay abroad (e.g. you got a job)

If you’ll be interviewed at UI for LSS. Pls note that the main question is about your postgraduate research work. Know your post graduate research work very well and relate it to the oil and gas industry.
