VanuatuWycombe: We are talking of ill-gotten wealth, you are talking of life style.
Will someone stèä! all Wigwe’s property, if he had them legitimately in Nigeria? Why hasn’t government taken over his university? It’s because he could defend that.
You should have defended him that he preferred where he would get higher return on property investments and that after he must have bought those properties legitimate.
Baba was doing round tripping when he was alive. That’s where he got his wealth.
Why did he go and establish Wigwe University in the UK? He knew he would need to cross so many hurdles and spend a lot before he could meet UK standard of running a university.
Those properties were bought by fronts. We still have a lot of Wigwes in our banking system who have made billions of us, while you are I are busy crying over fuel price. You're just a confused fellow who doesn't understand that the ill-gotten money enables the lifestyle... |

crossbreedwears: It's too much. Even Dangote can't have such numbers of properties in London A Nigerian banker's basic job description is the laundering of dirty money They don't fund businesses (unless it belongs to them or their friends) they didn't provide any meaningful service...until these tech-banks showed up Nigeria's traditional banks made us think electronic money transfer was rocket science. Let's not even talk about airtime recharges which failed and swallowed your funds on every other attempt. Now that these new guys are doing it without stealing people's money via 'failed transactions', the likes of First Bank, UBA, Access have also adjusted their failure rates |

BioData45: So who has a better chance to bring change if not for the rich and government. If other country wealthy folks run around like ours, who would have made their country great? Please, let stop making excuses for these guys. Whether you make excuses for them or not, the fact remains that they are selfish and they're not gonna do it (make Nigeria great, that is) Every revolution starts from the underclass, if you're waiting for those guys you will wait for all of eternity |

VOsimhen144: The day politicians and private owners begin to see Nigeria as their TRUE home, that's the day Nigeria will be a better place.
Black skin is a curse. I regret the day I was born as a black man, I wish I was a white guy. Even the white Africans among us (morroco, Egypt etc) are doing far better then we the real Africans. Why? Why?
In 2026 we are still crying to the government for Ordinary stable electricity, bad roads everywhere.
Is not as if there is no money to get these amenities done. the money is just looted and embezzled everyday for personal use.
Black skin is cursed with greed and selfishness. They can never ever see Nigeria as their 'true home' when everywhere literally looks like a dung-hill If you visit a society where their systems works you will naturally want to transfer your life there to safeguard it, along with your descendants and business interests...the other day we saw Otedola riding a bicycle in Singapore, he can't do that even on Banana Island (Nigeria's prime residential community) without a real risk of being murdered by careless/selfish motorists Even Dangote for all his faux patriotism has his Family Office hidden somewhere abroad |

Abel7777: A new political party, the Democratic Leadership Alliance (DLA), has announced its entry into Nigeria’s political space, outlining an agenda focused on economic reform, national security, and governance driven by ideology.
In a statement signed by its National Chairman, Samuel M. Memeh, and National Publicity Secretary, Chris Mustapha Nwaokobia Jnr., the party said its formation was in response to Nigeria’s “systemic failure, economic stagnation, and insecurity.”
The party said it is founded on the principles of Pan-Africanism, ethical leadership, scientific advancement, and people-centred governance, which it intends to translate into policy actions.
The DLA said it would pursue a transition from a consumption-based economy to one driven by production, innovation, and industrialisation.
It listed its priorities to include support for local manufacturing, investment in technology and research, and the promotion of youth-led enterprises.
According to the party, Nigeria’s development depends on building systems that enable citizens to create wealth and expand economic opportunities.
The party expressed concern over insecurity affecting farming communities, including the destruction of farmlands and displacement of farmers.
It proposed legislative and policy measures to address the situation, including regulation of cattle movement and the adoption of ranching systems.
The DLA said such measures are necessary to protect farmers, ensure food security, and stabilise the economy.
The party called on Nigerians to support its platform, describing its emergence as part of a broader effort to rebuild the country through collective responsibility.
It said membership is open to individuals who align with its vision and urged citizens to engage with its policies and programmes.
The announcement comes as political activities begin to gather pace ahead of the next election cycle, with new and existing parties seeking to mobilise support.

truthera: I know that many Nigerians especially non-Muslims living in Southern part of the country don't know that they are in an Islamic country. Only a few enlightened persons understood what Nigeria truly represents, while some of these people chose to be quiet, others like Nnamdi Kanu out of love spoke out and made several efforts to save his people, knowing fully well the dire consequences of going against the status quo....
For those Nigerians who after listening to Nnamdi Kanu, after seeing the killings, the complicity of their government pardoning terrorists, after seeing all that's happening now and still think that the country called Nigeria belongs to them, that it is a secular country, I implore you to look at your currency notes, look at the Naira notes you use everyday below and see the hidden truth in plain sight.....
How does a your secular state's currency notes being used by you a non-Muslim, having no knowledge of Islam or Arabic language and your suppose innocuous secular government has consistently decorated it with Arabic Islamic symbols and quotes.....? If you've been asleep to your reality over these incessant fulani Muslim jihadists killings I do believe that taking sometime to ponder over the mysteries of your own currency notes should serve as a wake up call..... IMHO, Nigeria an Islamic state masquerading as a cosmetic democracy belongs to the northern Islamic Fulani caliphate.... It's not Arabic, it's simply Hausa language .written with Arabic script, as opposed to the Latin script that you're more familiar with If you showed those words to an Arabic person it wouldn't make any sense to them, same way Yoruba written with our ubiquitous Latin script won't make sense to the English men who taught it to us |
