Sexyrosey: The Loneliness No One Talks About
It’s a different kind of pain to feel lonely while lying next to someone who is supposed to love you. To be married, yet feel emotionally single. To wake up every day craving affection, attention, and connection… and still go to bed empty.
People think loneliness only comes from being alone. But sometimes it comes from being with someone who no longer sees you, hears you, or desires you.
I miss being wanted. I miss being touched with intention, spoken to with softness, loved with effort. I miss feeling like I matter.
I’m tired of pretending I’m okay. Tired of acting strong when inside I feel invisible. Tired of pouring love into a space that feels cold and silent.
This is not about perfection. It’s about presence. About romance. About feeling chosen, not just tolerated.
The hardest part is knowing that I’m still capable of love, passion, and deep connection — but I’m living in a place where none of it is returned.
And that kind of loneliness… hurts more than being alone ever could. It's like you're unemployed abi? |

Politics › Re: As They Prepare To Close Alaba International Market by Jamie248: 5:36am On Jan 12 |
owobokiri: They have started as usual with their negative propaganda. It is a predictable template; defame a geoup/party/region and then use soldiers and the Police to destroy the source of their income. You tell yourself so much lies in a lifetime that at a point you start believing your own lies. They have always wanted to trend a warped narrative that South Eastern businesses thrive based on fake products. They used to say it was juju. That lie didn't fly long enough, so the new one... When you can't compete, you would want to do damage to the intergrity of the guy who out-competed you..
So they went to Onitsha and closed the whole medicine market for most of last year! Unannounced! Both the innocent and the guilty were all lumped into one place and summarily punished without remorse. Families were left stranded. Bread winners were left with no work for months. Instead of identifying those who did wrong, a blanket attack on the whole stalls and warehouses in the market that runs into thousands shops with teilkion naira worth of goods, was orchestrated with the help of the security agencies. Shops were looted, unconstitutional fines imposed and lives wrecked. It took the coming of VDM to open their nyaansh. In the end, we didn't see them destroy the trillions naira worth of medicines they seized. The whole seized products went into thin air..
Having been very successful with that test run, they have started towards Alaba market. They have always wanted to unravel that very Alaba market, but since medical or food products were not sold there, finding "terrifying" excuses to invade have been very tortuous. They waited a long time without finding aa good excuse to attack.. So they threw a hail Mary with one propaganda video of fake TVs being repackaged. Within hours, the Lagos government that has been practically aloof to her duties in many sectors, started yapping rudderlesly. Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON) who gave the certifications for all imports started barking. They even got LG to start talking, yet no investigations have been made!
You need no one to tell you what this is all about. It is a prelude to invade Alaba international market with touts and to vandalise the place the same way they did at Onitsha Drugs/Medicines market. In few days, you will hear that a contingent of the military, the police, the civil defence and Co, have been drawn to the market to seal it off, so that the government will investigate reported cases of fake products in the market. That will most probably last for months as the Lagos media is unleashed to saturate the whole place with negative articles about bad business activities in the market.... All these while corruption and fakery thrive in other areas, including the areas they dominate. Same way they were carting away trucks of medicines at Onitsha while their agbo sellers were busy wrecking kidneys..
We have been here before. We know what is going on. It is called "economic terrorism". We are witnessing a situation where the states coercive instruments are being used to fight sectional battles. This country is a mess in terms of her abilities to maintain standards in every sector. So there is nothing bad in fighting to upgrade and uphold greater standards across board! What is wrong though is when a vindictive/sectional party in power, out of ethnic animosity, unleashes a well choreographed sectional "fight" against corruption/fake products/criminal behaviour in the country, with the ultimate goal of destabilising other ethnic/regional/religious or interest groups. That is a tribal attack being decorated as a national fight right there..
That is not how you build a country.., That is how you destroy a country.. Why are you people always producing fake products? |
