kokorita:Hello ma'am, tell her to negotiate with them while explaining that she is paying outrightly for it. She should be given a considerable discount. What i did in my own situation sha. |
[quote author=goodfortun post=62028521]Hello mommas.... congratulations on the New born babies. May God bless and keep them in Jesus name! I've attached a picture of my baby's navel. It was small initially but seems to have blown up as he grew. He's two months old. What can we do bout it? Has anyone here experienced same and it went back in? Thanks! umbilical Hernia...my daughter has it too. Was advised by the dr. to let it be. It also poses no health risk for the baby.It should regularize when baby is older if not see a pediatrician for possible surgery. |
Chanbaby:Thank you so much ma'am Chanbaby for the offer. I just sent you a pm pls. |
keeki:Lucky you then. They are very durable. |
keeki:OMG! Where did you get the similac nipples from ? I have been needing it like oxygen as my LO only accepts that nipple. I was using the microwave sterilizing unit with it but was advised to boil the bottles and nipples after she came down with an infection. Boiling it works well as they have withstood a year of rigorous use. |
MamaOO:Stores like target and walmart stock a variety of full cream milk like nature's first, kerrygold and even Nido. Even better, you can try Enfamil toddler milk or similac go and grow. |

[quote author=mideyola post=60222353]Good morning Kindly help with the all the fee details and any your doctors contact. Thank you Hi Mideyola. Sorry i just saw this now. Doctor was The Women Group, South Tampa and was charged $3250. Had my daughter at St Joseph's women hospital Tampa and bill was 3300. I also had other associated costs like lab fees, rhogam shots etc (this should depend on your gestational age). Baby's Paediatrician was dr Stephen A Williams. He charged $250 for hospital visits and $70 for subsequent visits. You can get thier contact info online.... lmk if you require further information. |
queensnow Hey! Take a chill pill...done. |
@queensnow Sorry o...no vex. |
Agbo especially for babies is an absolute no no. Even drugs are most times not necessary talk less of agbo. Allow the baby's system to develop before you start bomarding it with all sorts. Some simple tips like massaging the baby's tummy with a warm towel or oil and also stretching the babies legs in a sort of bicycle motion as suggested by another mum. Always ensure that your baby burps after each feed before you set her down. |
spiceeamiee:Worried mum. It's a natural phenomenon. She will be fine. Me I even called the ambulance sef when it first happened to my daughter. Massaging her tummy helped a lot though. |
spiceeamiee:She may have colic. Please don't give your baby agbo. Check out this link for tips on how best to handle the situation. http://askthepaediatricians.com/2015/07/doc-what-is-colic/ |
zimunachimdi:Hello mum, here is a link from an online discussion held by a certified nutritionist from "ask the paediatrician" facebook group. I am sure you will benefit greatly from it. https://m./1606725032946275?view=permalink&id=1920952601523515&ref=content_filter |
[quote author=bookholla post=59813035]Tanx. I actually do press my breast into his mouth and milk comes out so I don't know y he My daughter totally refused to suck my boobs from when she was born and i really wanted to feed her breastmilk exclusively till she turned 6months. So i was compelled to pump out milk using an electronic breast pump. With this , i pumped out milk 3 times daily. For every pumping session i get about 20 ounces of milk. i would advise that you pump out milk so as to gauge the quantity your baby consumes while still putting him on your boobs to suck till he gets used to it. |
feddy27:You nailed it @ feddy27. I wouldn't apologise for any reason whatsoever. After putting my baby's health in jeopardy then i should say sorry...nada! Would have even gotten her arrested sef. She is 47 years old for pete's sake not 4 or 7. TTC is no excuse for endangering a newborn. Spiceeamiee so sorry for what you are going through. I pray for God's healing on your baby. |
Giddyperson:Try Spar or Candy on Kofo Abayomi. For sandwich fillers and wrap respectively I use the ff: Fry my eggs sunny side, sprinkle some flaked pepper and salt, fresh tomato, onions , lettuce etc/ avocado toast with salt and pepper and lettuce/ make a sort of grilled cheese sandwich Stir fry mixed vegies with shredded beef /chicken, prawns or whatever protein that catches my fancy. |
Unfelt:Hi, don't think it is necessary to make a deposit until you are checked in for delivery. You should have enough money with you while travelling to show that you can cover all costs. |
glogirl:I did visit the school. Really pricey though |
blessedtwins:Thank you . Will try Magnolia and Marymount. My grouse with Wissen place is that because they are new and haven't been " tried and trusted". They may good facility but I am not so sure of the quality of thier staff. |
Unfelt:Hello Unfelt, I had my baby last year in Florida, tampa precisely. If you are going to be around Tampa area. I can give you the costs and everything. |
So I was thinking maybe I should get piriton syrup because that was what a doctor almost prescribed when the cough couldn't stop awhile back. What do you mamas think please. Dear Mama, Would advise you go with the medication as prescribed by your baby's dr as he/she has probably evaluated the baby. If there is any side effects from using the medication, go back to the paediatrician. |
Good day all. I have learnt alot on this thread and thanks for taking your time to answer questions especially @onegai. I would like to know if anyone has tried PAMPERS PRIVATE school in Lekki. I intend enrolling my soon to be one year old in their preschool and would appreciate your take on it. TIA |
queensnow:No mummy! Absolutely not. you can start solids any time around 4 to 6 months. Until then, breast milk or formula provides all the calories and nourishment your baby needs and can handle. |
dtush:Ok. I just sent you an email |
[quote author=dtush post=53762479]My story. At about 4pm on 13/02/2017, my hubby called me. I could barely hear what he was saying but i picked up a few words. Start heading home, the nanny left Olivia and has jumped the fence with her cohorts. I cant even explain the feelings that tore through me. I didnt even bother to shut down. I just grabbed my bag, snatched my wig from my head and raced to my car. My boss and colleagues ran after me. I just kept muttering my daughter, my daughter. They tried to grab my bag, saying i cant drive but believe me i wasn't thinking. My dear sister, thank God for his mercies towards you. Where do you work or live? If on the island I might be able to recommend an afterschool creche. |
