Education › Re: Federal Polytechnic, Nekede Suspends Lecturer For Assaulting Student (video) by jamuta(m): 12:59pm On Mar 15, 2025 |
This apology really highlights a deeply troubling issue in our educational system; the continued harassment of students by lecturers. Meanwhile, mote attention is given to sexual harassment, male students often face other forms of intimidation, bullying, and psychological abuse that go largely unreported. Many endure humiliation, threats, and unfair treatment that can severely impact their academic progress and mental well-being.
It's time for institutions to implement stricter policies and accountability measures to protect all students from these abuses of power. |

[b]Let me make a strong point about the mindset of many Nigerians when it comes to national development. There’s a deep-seated issue where people see the country as a resource to exploit rather than a place to build. The “national cake” mentality is a direct consequence of decades of poor governance, corruption, and a lack of a national identity that fosters collective responsibility.
However, it's also worth considering the historical and systemic factors that shaped this mindset. Colonial rule, military regimes, and a lack of real democratic accountability since 1999 have all contributed to a culture where people feel they must fend for themselves because the state has never really worked for them. The absence of a functioning system makes it hard for the average person to think beyond survival.
As for Nigerians in the diaspora, it's ironic how they thrive in structured societies yet struggle to replicate that structure back home. Some genuinely try to contribute, but Nigeria’s system often frustrates them. That said, some also enjoy criticizing Nigeria from afar while refusing to be part of any solution.
The real question is: how do we break this cycle? How do we shift the mindset from taking to building? It would require a massive reorientation—one that instills accountability, patriotism, and a long-term vision for the country.
God bless Nigeria!

Romance › Re: Ladies, I Want To Beg You, Dont Marry A Man With Low Self Esteem! by jamuta(m): 8:08pm On Sep 19, 2024 |
This is so special! ❣️ Flesh and blood didn't reveal this to you, but the 'understanding' that you're blessed with. You're so spot on! 💯 Dogalmighty17: I do not understand what is behinds all these Seun posts of recent. Has he met the typical Nigerian woman? A woman who has 2 naira more than her man and who makes that man's life hell?
Nigerian women do not know how to manage success without making their homes casualties. Yes she got more change than the man and begins lording it over him and the man reacts. Should that be termed as the man has low self esteem?
Nigerian women are a pitiful lot. Give up on them. Take the time and see how Kamala Harris eyes glows anytime she is looking at her husband. He is an officer in the US army. She is running to be US president... his future commander in chief. But she still adores him and respects him. She has no children of her own but she shows her husbands kids so much love that they call her mom and her husbands ex-wife has become Kamala's close friend. The kids see how she loves thier father even though she has a higher societal ranking than him. How many Nigerian women can love a man they are more than?
We have a generation of damaged women in Nigeria. Women who can't manage small success. That's why when they go to the West, they unleash hell on thier husbands. All over Europe and America, why is it Nigerian women always having issues with husbands?
The worst thing that can happen to a Nigerian man is if his woman has more change than him. He will suffer. When he chooses to speak out against the disrespect his woman shows him, he is termed insecure. That's rubbish!
Seun is asking women to push their men to standards even the women themselves can't meet. His posts are becoming a poison. Adopt what he is saying at your peril. |

That tells you alot about the brand: Papa, Mama and Pickin!
Every Nigerian are connected 'subliminally' so one and all feel the same 'pulse', the government shouldn't allow an 'unannounced' protest, revolution or civil unrest. Sometimes i wonder if our 'rulers' take into account our population size when they think or take decisions. Such a force 'might' not be easily conquered.

odinson1: PSALM 14 "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God." I've long lost count of the times Christians have quoted this verse to me. Evidently, they see no irony when grown ups, who believe in invisible beings, magic, monsters and eternal life--all without a shred of evidence, say the fools are those who look for logical coherence and validated evidence before they believe anything. WTF? These people also lack logic. A cursory review of this psalm would show it is a lie. The very next sentence says, "They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is NONE that doeth good." [My emphasis.] So, you need only find ONE non-believer who has done good and you have proven the psalm a lie. Well, here are three: Warren Buffet, Bill Gates and George Soros. They are the three most generous philanthropists alive and they are all atheists. How hard was that? Too hard apparently for logic-challenged Christians, who lack a sense of irony Nice twist! |

CAPSLOCKED: ONLY A FOOL SAYS THERE'S NO GOD. THIS STATEMENT IS VERY VALID.
ATHEISTS ARE INTELLIGENT PEOPLE. AFTER CAREFULLY REVIEWING THE SITUATION, WE'VE ALL COME TO TERMS WITH THE OBVIOUS FACT THAT GOD EXISTS. IN FACT, SEVERAL OF THESE GODS EXIST. BUT THEY CAN ONLY BE FOUND IN THE IMAGINATIONS OF THOSE WHO BELIEVE AND WORSHIP THEM.
AS LONG AS PEOPLE KEEP IMAGINING GODS, THEY'LL KEEP EXISTING.
KILL ALL IMAGINATIONS OF GODS, AND YOU'VE KILLED ALL GODS. Nice 👍🏾 |

MyDigitalTribe: We can strengthen our institutions, educate people on the dangers, use technology to ensure transparency and create a digital community that speaks up against corrupt as a single voice with legal backing for members that may be persecuted and programs in line.
But mostly, lifting people out of poverty will go a very long way in eradicating corruption, and we're building a platform that will make this very easy to achieve.. I would be really interested and hopefully get involved in the technological solutions that would drive that change. I'm intending to do series of videos that would hopefully be a Clarion call to the great youths of our Nation. We should've gone past all these anomalies we're currently going through as a country, 21st century problems need 21st century solutions. Thanks for your write-up. |
