Family7 Reasons Why You Should Never Give Up(even When You Want To) by Janeyinspires(op): 8:43am On Jul 05, 2017
I’m giving up!

I can’t see any result yet

My challenges overwhelm me.It’s getting the better part of me and I already feel like a failure right now.

Can you relate to either of them or all? I want you to know that you are not alone. Everyone feels and experiences it.

Life challenges suck!

It makes us question ourselves, our capacity and leaves room for self-doubt to creep in. And in such moment, we get drained of our mental strength. We can’t continue again. This leaves us no choice than to give up.

But hold on, why should you give up?

Here, let me give you reasons why you should hang in there and never ever give up.

7 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER GIVE UP

1.YOU ARE ALIVE; THIS IS HOPE

You are reading this post right now. It means you are alive. It’s a plus and the most important reason for not giving up. There is hope for a life that’s still breathing, even a living dog is better than a dead lion. You have lots of opportunities. Opportunity to make your dream happen, be who you want to be, another chance to sit down and come up with another plan to start again. Now smarter.

It’s only those who are alive get such chance. Not the dead. When you don’t succeed the first time, you can try again. Your breakthrough might be next door. Giving up is not an option if you are alive.

2.EVERYONE PASSES THROUGH LIFE CHALLENGES

The adversity of life is not peculiar to you. Everyone goes through the ups and downs of life.

Why is this so?

Life is not a smooth ride. There are road blocks and bumps here and there. Because you live on this planet called earth, you will face challenges. Everyone.

The more you understand this about life, the easier it will be to brace yourself up and handle challenges when they show up on your doorstep.

3.YOU OWE IT TO YOUR DREAMS

The ‘you’ within you have a dream. A dream that can only find expression outside.

I watched a young woman on TV two days ago. She came for an audition. The voice Nigeria. The host interviewed her before she went up to sing. There, she told the host she’s been on 20 auditions. The voice Nigeria is her 21st audition. She hasn’t given up. She won’t. Yeah, she told the host so. It has been her dream to become an artist and this might be the platform to help launch her dreams.

And you know what?

She sang so well that she got picked by one of the judges.

Ok.while yours might not be to become a singer, you do have a dream waiting to be birthed. Give yourself that joy of pursuing it and make it a reality. Nobody said it will be easy and effortless. Don’t deny yourself the fulfillment that comes with making your dream happen. When you live your dreams, you live life without regrets.

4.NOBODY HAS GOT IT ALL

Do you know everything?

You don’t. I don’t. No one knows it all. It is only human that we can’t figure everything out. Your challenges do not make you less human. We are bound to make mistakes, as we look for solutions to our problems. It does not make you less human. When you fail or don’t get it right, don’t give up. Pick yourself up, try again. There is no hard or fast rule about how many times one can fail.

It’s OK to admit not to know all. It’s OK to admit a fall. But they are not a reason to give up when we face them. They are only events, the result of a strategy that will not work. A fall, a mistake doesn’t define you. Rise up and move forward. Launch out again, now armed with tested strategies and the ones untested.

5.NO LESSON OR EXPERIENCE TO GAIN

Life is a teacher; the more you live, the more you learn. Adversities are great teachers for life. If you give up on your dreams, how will you grow?

Thomas Edison, the inventor of the light bulb, failed many times before he got a breakthrough. His friend who went down to Thomas’s laboratory to see him asked him this question:

“Isn’t it a shame that with the tremendous amount of work done you haven’t been able to get any results?’’ Thomas replied him, “Results! Why, man, I have gotten lots of results! I know several thousand things that won’t work!”

If he had given up on his project, he wouldn’t have become successful. And even had to know a thousand things that will never work.

We grow through trial and error. Keep trying, but never give up. Your next attempt might be the key to your breakthrough.

6. THE STRONGER THE WIND; THE STRONGER THE TREE

What doesn’t kill you will make you strong. A verse from the Bible says, “If you fall in the days of adversity, how small is your strength. Life challenges make you strong. It exposes you to the inner strength you never knew you have. I can tell you that you become open to possibilities to help you overcome the challenge. You learn how to use life challenges to make yourself better. Here is a helpful post on how to fail and succeed

People are not able to get a grip on challenges because of how they perceive setback and failure. When you develop the right attitude towards challenges, you stop seeing them as one. Rather you start to see it as a strength booster. To make sure you don’t get discouraged and give up, when you face challenges, ask yourself these questions:

What can I learn from this challenge? How will I grow from it?

This will put you in a positive state. And a positive mind will make you embrace your challenge, seeing it as a learning tool.

7.YOU ARE THE ANSWER TO SOMEONE'S PROBLEM

Have you for a moment thought that without your contribution or story, someone out there will be missing out?

If you’ve not heard it elsewhere then here it now, you are the answer to someone’s problem. The world will care if you give up. Yes, you didn’t give them the solution you have inside of you to cure the world of what ails it.

Do not for a moment think that you are here to fill a space on earth. You are here to contribute your own quota to make the world a better place. To tell your own story as a source of inspiration.Thomas Edison never gave up and today he’s a source of inspiration to many lives. Look around. There are needs. People are looking to find comfort and inspiration. No matter how little, your contribution will speak volume.

You have what it takes to help someone out there. That God-given gift seats inside, waiting to be unleashed.

A whole lot of people have been there before you. They were courageous and stood their ground. They kept showing up till they became a success in their different field.

See..

Check out these inspirational quotes which will inspire and encourage you to never give up.Great minds have written them. They have been there before, but they never gave up.You can also be like them too. Here we go

SUMMING IT UP

Today, make the choice to keep trying because you are stronger than you think and still alive.Everyone has their own share of life challenges.Challenges are not there to break you but to build you up.See them as opportunities to grow. You are not here on earth by mistake. You are here to fulfill a purpose. The world awaits you.

Christianity EtcRe: The Positive Ministry Of The Holy Spirit - Andrew Wommack by Janeyinspires(f): 6:15am On Jul 04, 2017
jiggaz:
Most people have been led to believe that self-doubt, self-condemnation, feelings of unworthiness, and conviction for individual sins are the work of the Holy Spirit. But it’s just not true!

Those of you who are familiar with this ministry know that I spend a great deal of time teaching on the unconditional love and grace of God. That is what changed my life.
But I can tell by the questions and comments I get that many people still don’t get it.

Because of that, years ago I asked the Lord to give me a way of expressing His grace that people can’t miss. That is when He gave me one of the most important revelations I have ever had about the positive ministry of the Holy Spirit. Not everyone likes this, but they understand what I’m saying.

The devil’s favorite tool, religion, has done a great job of convincing the body of Christ that the Holy Spirit is the source of negative feelings. He has believers convinced it’s the Holy Spirit showing them they are unworthy and have to “clean up their acts” if they ever want to receive from the Lord.

The truth is, it’s your heart or, more specifically, your conscience that is condemning you, not God. That is not the work of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is never the source of any of your guilt or condemnation. He is not the One that makes you feel bad when you sin.

Your conscience is the part of you that condemns you. And if you are feeling unworthy it’s almost impossible to receive from God.

First John 3:19-21 says,

“And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.”

This verse makes it very clear: Your heart can condemn you even though God is not. What a radical truth, which comes as a complete shock to most Christians. We’ve just assumed that it is always the Holy Spirit who is condemning us.

Then John said in verse 21,

“Beloved if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.”

If you can reach the point where your conscience is not condemning you, judging you, and causing you to feel unworthy to receive, then you will have confidence toward God, which has great recompense of reward (Heb. 10:35).

Most Christians never reach that place. Most know that God can answer their prayer; they just don’t have the confidence that He will, because they feel unworthy. They aren’t willing to stand in faith, because feelings of guilt and unworthiness, which they believe are coming from the Holy Spirit, shipwreck their faith.

[/b]“Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck”[/b] (1 Tim. 1:19).

Our conscience is not something we can or should ignore; it can be trained for our benefit, but it is not the Holy Spirit. The best way to deal with the conscience is to, as much as possible, not give it any occasion against us. It can’t condemn you if you aren’t giving it a reason. However, no one lives a perfect life and ultimately you’ve got to purge your conscience from dead works.

Hebrews 9:14 says,

“How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”

In Hebrews 10:22, the Bible says,

“Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience.”

And in Hebrews 4:16, we read,

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

The ministry of Holy Spirit is just the opposite of what many Christians think. In John 14:16 read how Jesus describes the Holy Spirit:

“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.”

Notice that Jesus calls the Holy Spirit the “Comforter,” not the afflicter. It also says that He will send “another” Comforter. “Another” means one of the same caliber, the same kind. Jesus was and still is a comforter; He didn’t condemn people during His earthly ministry.

John 3:17-19 reads,

“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deed were evil.”

John 14:26 says,

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name…”

In John 15:26, Jesus said,

“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father…”

And in John 16:7, Jesus continues to say about the Holy Spirit,

“Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.”

There can be no doubt that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is not one of condemnation; it’s one of comfort. Jesus said that it was expedient for you that He go away and the Comforter comes. The word “expedient” means “to your advantage.” Jesus is saying that it’s better to have the Holy Spirit ministering to you than it is to have Him present in His physical body. What a statement!

I know someone is thinking, What about John 16:8:

“And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.”

Well, first of all, there is a huge difference between conviction and condemnation, but let’s set that aside for now. Look at the next verse. Jesus knew people would impute things to the Holy Spirit that He wasn’t doing. So, Jesus explained very clearly just which sin the Holy Spirit would convict us of. It is the singular sin of not believing on Jesus.

John 16:9 says,

“Of sin, because they believe not on me.”

The Holy Spirit doesn’t convict us of lying, stealing, adultery, murder, etc; He convicts us that we aren’t trusting in Jesus. That’s the root of every sin.

Technically, people don’t go to hell for their individual sins; Jesus has already forgiven all of them (1 John 2:2). People go the hell for the single sin of not making Jesus their personal Savior, the complete and only payment for their sin.

Even after receiving salvation, it’s not our actions (sins) that are the problem but the heart attitude of not trusting Jesus. That is the root of all sin. The reason people do dope and alcohol is because they are turning to something other than Jesus to dull the hurt inside.

When we lie, it’s because we don’t trust Jesus and feel we have to manipulate others. That’s what all sin comes down to: not trusting Jesus. That’s what the Holy Spirit convicts us about.

Most Christians have not truly understood this positive ministry of the Holy Spirit. We have made Him the source of our feelings of guilt, condemnation, and unworthiness. Because of that, we haven’t really let Him do His job, and we are missing the benefits and power of a relationship with Him.

The Holy Spirit should be your best friend. He was sent here to encourage you and constantly assure you of God’s love. He is the most important and most powerful person in your life. If you haven’t been thinking correctly about the Holy Spirit, it’s time to change your thinking.

You will never be able to relate to God correctly until you understand this positive ministry of the Holy Spirit. My new and expanded series, The Positive Ministry of the Holy Spirit, will help you make this change in your thinking. The Holy Spirit is the great Comforter, but His positive ministry goes far beyond that. If you want power in your life, you’ll have to know and understand what I teach in this series.

Processor01:
Your approach sir. I find it strange that a lot of people and christians think prayer is more powerful than the word of God.
Here's my simple advice that even though it may seem to be counter-intuitive is very powerful.

1. Faith - simply believing in God regardless of what you see on the outside (James 1:7)
2. Eat the word - study your bible daily. The entrance of God's word gives light (Psalm 119:130) and darkness cannot dwell in same space.
3. Prayer - this is best suited for a non-christian since a believer CANNOT be demon possessed (2 For 6:16). However, if it is an affliction then do well to report the situation to your father.

God bless you!
You've told him the key to his deliverance.Sitting down with the word of God,keep listening to the word and responding to the finished work of Jesus on the cross. The man who keeps listening and listening to the word is the man that will be set free.
Christianity EtcRe: How Well Did I Understand Grace Before I Understood Grace? - Paul Ellis by Janeyinspires(f): 6:11pm On Jun 18, 2017
jiggaz:
loool you welcome bro!! l discovered the Gospel of Grace in 2014 through Pastor Joseph Prince and i felt exactly like you!! i felt like flying!! lol..... Our Lord Jesus is soooo gracious!!! Between 2014 and now 2016, i have grown so much in the knowledge of Our Lord Jesus and His super abundance of Grace.. ....

Before i discovered the Gospel of Grace, i was not a serious Christian( i. e i don't study the word of God) cos the church i used to attend, my pastor always condemn me to Hell Fire because i didn't believe in living a legalistic religious life like them... lol. Between 2012 & 2013, i was living in depression cos truly i love God and i have 100% trust in Christ Jesus and His Finished work on the Cross, but my legalistic Pastor felt i was not doing enough like them and always tell me i will go to Hell if i don't live a legalistic religious life like them lol.

I couldn't live a legalistic life with do's and donts. Why my pastor condemns me is because i dress well, i have this cosmopolitan view of life, i couldnt be differentiated from unbelievers by mere looking at me and worldly knowledge ( according to them lol ). Because i didnt know much then in the bible, i kinda belived him that i will end up in Hell.... So from then, i started developing this hatred for God because i felt since He knew that i will still go to hell despite my being a Believer, why then did He create me? It was bad for me then. You see how over religious self righteous zealous Christians scare people away from Christ? I felt God was wicked for creating me since He will still send me to hell. But i didn't voice out my opinion then, cos i felt God will strike me dead!! lol.....

So my broda, from my write up you will see that Religion is bad for humanity.... Christianity is not a Religion, but a personal Relationship with Christ.... Christ has done it all and all we have to do is REST in His Finished Work and watch Him do His mighty works through us.... I now have soooo much knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and His Super Abundance of Grace and am still learning more... Grace is a person and that is our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!!!

Why is the devil fighting the Gospel of Grace? It is because he knows that if every Christian know about grace and who they are in Christ, the devil will be powerless!! And that is why he is fighting the Gospel of Grace!! This Gospel of Grace is all about our inheritance and identity in Christ but the devil doesn't want it cos he knows he will be powerless if Christians know the powerful truth.... The devil uses fellow Christians to fight the Gospel of Grace and i always laugh when fellow Believers fight me here lol. Some have called me Antichrist or Lucifer..... i laugh at their ignorance.... Some Christians feel good condemning fellow Believers or Unbelievers to Hell thinking they are scoring merits with God, i pity them. Christ said He didn't come for the righteous but for the sinners so they can come to repentance.
Truly, Heaven will be full of Surprises, the people you least expect to see in the kingdom will all be there, even sitting on Thrones...... and the so called self righteous ones might not even have any reward ( all their dead works burned in the fire ). Self righteous Christians should remember they are not God by condemning believers and unbelievers to Hell Fire, let the Holy Spirit do His work. Just share the Gospel and leave it at that, not threatening people to repent.

I always thank Jesus Christ for using Pastor Joseph Prince to set me free through the Gospel of Grace..... i now know who i am in Christ and my life have turned for the Best!!

The Gospel of Grace is moving rapidly around the world... America have been captured, India & China too..... Thanks to men of God sharing this POWERFUL TRUTH around the world like Pastor Joseph Prince, Andrew Wommack, Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyers, Paul Ellis and sooo many others.... I thank God for their lives.
Glory! Meanwhile,I'm eagerly waiting for this gist over there o.
Christianity EtcRe: Dont Sweat It, Rest!! - Joseph Prince by Janeyinspires(f): 5:48pm On Jun 18, 2017
jiggaz:
Ruth 3:18
Then she said, “Sit still, my daughter, until you know how the matter will turn out; for the man will not rest until he has concluded the matter this day.”

God does not want you to “sweat”. Sweat here does not refer to your body’s perspiration, but your self-reliance or self-effort. God does not want you to believe that if you don’t do anything, nothing will happen. That may be true for someone without God in his life, but it is not true for you because you have God. And when He is in the picture, the God-factor changes everything!
When you are resting in God, He works for you. In fact, when He works, you end up with more. He is the one who is giving to you. It is not about you trying to give to yourself.

This was what happened to Ruth in the Old Testament. After laboring in the barley fields from morning to evening, she was able to glean one ephah of barley (Ruth 2:17), which was equivalent to a 10-day supply of barley. Certainly, this amount was a blessing to her.

But when she rested at the feet of Boaz, her kinsman-redeemer, and did not labor, she received six ephahs of barley (Ruth 3:15), which was equivalent to a 60-day supply! When Ruth sought her own blessing, she obtained only one ephah. But when she sought the blesser, she received much more.

Ruth’s blessings did not stop there. While Ruth rested and
sat still as her mother-in-law Naomi had instructed, Boaz, who was the owner of the barley field, went to work, initiating actions, executing them and speaking on Ruth’s behalf. Right through it all, Ruth sat still and rested. Eventually, Boaz, the barley man himself, married Ruth. (Ruth 4) That meant no more measured wealth of six ephahs, but the yield of the whole barley field in total!
Boaz is a picture of Jesus, our heavenly kinsman-redeemer. When we rest in the Lord, He will not rest. He will work on our behalf. What do we do then? We just trust in and enjoy His love for us.

Beloved, stop striving and be at rest. If salvation, the greatest work, comes to us by resting in Jesus’ finished work, how much more will all the other blessings?

Thought For The Day

If salvation, the greatest work, comes into our lives just by us resting in Jesus’ finished work, how much more will all the other blessings?

Lool Good evening Janey.. plz disregard that post. That was an old post and am no longer like that.

When i first brought the Gospel of Grace here newly, i have so many opposition and it was mostly Christians that oppose me. I was very angry that my fellow Christians were condemning the Gospel of Christ while unbelievers are embracing it. I then became harsh & almost savage to them lol. I even threatened to beat one of them up!! hahahaaaa.... i was so pissed by their self righteousness and holier than thou attitude... lol.

But later, i began asking myself questions, that the Gospel is shared in love not by force or violence... I asked the Holy Spirit to calm me down because i have a problem with temper when am challenged on what i know lol grin So what i normally do to avoid all that confrontation is dat i ignore and it works. I don't reply negative comments no more. I only reply positive ones. The world is a big place and we are all different in our understanding, so its okay for people to have contrary opinion.

Nowadays, i just post the article and let the Holy Spirit do His work. I don't reply negative comments again. I am calm now grin lol. So my dear, plz disregard that post, its the old me. I don't curse or threaten Believers who have a different revelation from me. The Holy Spirit gave me wisdom to deal with my temper, so dats why i run solo here on this religious section. I don't comment on others posts and i don't reply negative comments no more....

I hope you are basking in the Love of Christ... Happy Sunday dear.
Lol,Loler,Lolest...you got me wondering up there. This is hard for some people to take.......I'm all basking in the unsearchable riches of Christ.May I PM you?

Mr Hell Fire thank you....When was the last time you sinned? Or abi u dont sin now? You might be in danger of Hell too you know.... lol . Since you are negating the finished work of Christ on the Cross and you want to add to what Christ did on the Cross, well carry go!!

But mind you, your self righteousness is a filthy rag before God. You people always condemn unbelievers & believers alike to hell and it stinks!! John 3:16 is the real Gospel not your man made doctrines!! All of you are hypocrites!! You people commit the worst sins in secret and come to the open to claim Holy!! You all stink!! Modern day Pharisees and Jesus was always harsh with your kind during his days!!

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rms 8:38-9) If you don't like it, go and hug transformer!! Most of you hypocritical Christians are the reason people hardly embrace Christ, with all your do's and donts!! Christianity is not a religion neither is it about law keeping... its a relationship with Christ Jesus!!

I am for the Gospel of Grace cos its the true Gospel of Christ!! Thank God its now spreading all over the world!!

And lemme warn you and your kind ( Hpocrital-Pharisee-Judgemental Chrsitians ) STAY OFF MY POSTS!! Me and you people are not in the same category!! Stay off my posts if you don't want to see another side of me!! I am not nice to your kind... BE WARNED!!
jiggaz!!??
