This has been my stand and conviction. The more we come to terms with who we are now in Christ, the more we are transformed.

Let's reason together. May the Holy Spirit convict and convince us of the truth, that is the absolute mind of the Father in Jesus name. Amen!

Bet we are still reasoning together, bloodofthelamb.

My submission:
Paul was trying to explain what took place with the Christian(believer) when Christ died and resurrected, from the beginning of chapter 7. There, he was telling believers how the law has power over those who are living. But as believers, we are no longer living by virtue of Jesus' death representing our death. And His resurrection bringing us into another life. A new life all entirely, setting us free from the law.

According to message translation, Rom 7:8, "Don't you remember how it was? I do, perfectly well." Paul took us down memory lane by using the present tense to narrate what happened to him when he was still under the law.

I had this experience Paul was narrating. It was when I was yet to come to terms with what Christ has already accomplished for me,by abolishing in his flesh the law(See Ephesians 2:15). Then I was depending on the flesh, my own effort to keep God's command. But I couldn't.I never knew then that the flesh doesn't have that capacity. It was quite funny then because I said a prayer to God.Told Him I wanted to be done with sin entirely.

But grace was revealed to me and the struggle stopped.

Believers struggle with sin when they don't know what Christ accomplished for them on the cross and who they are,NOW in Christ.

The law now written in our hearts is the spirit of Jesus now living inside of us, to help us live out the law in our lives. That's why Jesus came of course: To fulfill the law on our behalf.

This is simply the truth. The more you are conscious of your flaws, the more you struggle with the flaws. And the more you struggle, the more you fail. You can't help the flaws. But thanks be to God for we have Jesus-the grace, whose strength(righteousness) has covered our weakness(flaws). So today,we are on a right standing with God because of what Jesus has accomplished for us at the cross.

Perfectbeing:

Jewish laws and customs forbade men from tattooing, shaving their beard or sides of hair. It forbade women from opening their hairs in synagogues or from decorating their bodies. It forbade the Jews from eating some food (like pigs) or touching them. It forbade them from having dealings with the gentiles. Those are Jewish customs. And I'm pretty sure you're not a Jew. If you want to keep the Jewish laws know that they're 613 of them. You can't keep one and forget about the remaining 612. You have to keep each and everyone of them. If you break one, you're guilty of breaking all of them (James 2:10-11). So as a guy, if you do not wear tattoo but you shave the sides of your hair or trim the edge of your beards, you're as guilty as someone who wears tattoo. And as a babe, If you cover your hair to church and you don't wear makeup but you eat pig meat or your best friend is a Moslem, according to Jewish customs and law you're a lawbreaker.

The law (the 10 commandments) was powerless to make us right with God because of our sinful nature (Heb 8:3). It wasn't to say the law was not perfect. Everything God does is perfect. So is the law. But we just couldn't handle the law because of our flesh was too weak. The law was too fault-finding. We had to keep every commandment to the end. If we break just one, we would be guilty of breaking all of them (James 2:10). Keeping the 10 commandments could look easy to us. Isn't it just to serve God, worship God, not bow to any other gods, not to dishonour your parents, not to murder, commit adultery, or fornication, not to steal, lie, covet our neighbors property etc. It looks easy right? But trust me it isn't. When you think you haven't committed adultery but you look at that pretty girl that just walked past you lustfully, you just committed adultery. When you think you haven't lie but you tell one white lie in the office or you tell a lie to save a friend you just broke the 6th commandment. When you think you honour your parents but you just called Buhari a fool and an idiot, you've dishonored your parents, when you think you've never murdered someone in your entire life but you call your brother a fool, the law will label you guilty of murder. When you think you haven't coveted your neighbor's property but you look at Davido's Lamborghini and you say in your mind "I wish that car is mine", you've just coveted. When you think you've never served any other God but instead of going to church on Sunday you had to be in your workplace, the law finds you guilty of idol worship.
The law deems almost anything you do as a man sin.

So what God did was to make things easy for us was send his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering (the same Heb 8:3). So he fulfilled the law for us. So once we believe in him we have fulfilled all the laws of God also...

But then some people will say, "perfectbeing, are you now saying that if someone believes in Jesus and he steals or murder someone, are you saying he's still in right standing with God?" You might want to quote Romans 6:1. But let me ask you something first, did you see me write to in anywhere that you should go and steal since you've believed and no longer under the law? Go and steal or kill if you like. You'll know whether the police is your friend or not.

That's not what I'm saying. When you believe your sinful nature is been replaced with the nature of Christ. Romans 6:1 says... Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? What was the reply in vs 2? "God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?"
Impossible. Believers can no longer live in sin because the nature of sin is dead and buried. But it is still possible for for us believers to fall into sin (not live in sin) sometimes because even though our nature is changed, we still live in this weak body of ours. Our minds still needs to be regenerated. That can only happen when we keep reading and meditating on God's word daily.

"What's the difference between living in sin and falling into sin?" some might ask.

Have you ever seen a sheep in a mud water before? (I love NATGEO WILD so I know a lotta things about animals). When a sheep falls into mud, it becomes restless and uncomfortable and in distress. Why? Cos that's not it's nature. The sheep only becomes comfortable and normal after it is removed and cleaned. But try putting a pig in mud water. Good lord, you just found this pig another home. The pig is comfortable in this dirty water why? Because it is his nature to be dirty.. Even when you remove the pig from the dirt and you clean it, put it a bit close to the dirt and you'll see the pig going to get itself comfortable again..
That's the difference between the believer who fall into sin (the sheep) and the unbeliever (who lives in sin (the pig).
Sinner live the life of sin just like a pig but a believer doesn't.

So as a believer whenever you fall in sin, know that there's "therefore, now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death"
This I say not to encourage you to sin but that if you sin, you have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous" I john 2:1.

I love the illustration you made.Clear and relatable.

Business / The Proven Evergreen Strategy That Will Help You Grow Your Online Business by Janeyinspires(f): 7:41am On Jul 18, 2018
Ever wanted to know how you can grow your online business?

Maybe you are one of those who have been told, “If you want to make money online, sell something.”

And off you went to create your own product to sell.
And bang…Cricket. No one bought your product.
No click, to add the product to cart.

I know this will get you worried that you might end up asking yourself if you are meant to have an online business.
And I also know growing an online business isn’t easy.

Today, I’ll let you on, into the proven evergreen strategy that will help you grow your business.
First, let me tell you my little story.

Four months ago, I bought a freelance writing training course online. I didn’t buy the freelance writing course because I saw an ad and clicked through. I didn’t buy the freelance writing course because I had enough money to throw around any random course online. No matter the sugar-coated promises to help me become an awesome freelance writer.

I have known Walter, the freelance writer and internet trainer behind FreelancerKenya writing course. It was a time I was trying to make a career out of my passion -writing. Looking to hone my writing skills to become better. And one day, while searching for useful information related to freelance writing, I stumbled upon his blog.

With the articles I saw there, I subscribed. I started to receive newsletter and content from his blog. Rich, helpful and valuable content consistently.

Walter was committed to helping people like me become awesome freelance writers. After following his blog for a year, I bought his freelance writing course. I bought his course because he positioned himself as the go-to- guy to help me achieve my goal of learning how to write as a freelance writer.

Now, this is where many businesses get it all wrong.
Dangling their product in front of everyone they meet.
Buy my product! Buy my product! Buy my product!
But sorry dear, no one’s gonna buy your product just like that.

And why you may ask?
See…
They don’t know you. They don’t like you. They don’t trust you.
Yeah. You read it.

In business, there is a marketing strategy called “The know, like and trust factor.”

What is the know, like and trust factor about?

This is the fundamental principle of marketing people go through before they can buy from you. Businesses are becoming more relationship-oriented than transactional.
Before people do business with you, they get to know you first, then like you. And trust you to buy from you.

This is the secret to many online businesses raking in more sales than their competitors.

In the little story, I told earlier, I first got to know the freelance writing trainer through the content he writes about on his blog. About freelance writing. He was consistent in providing useful information. I started to like him and everything about what he does. His stories resonated with me and my struggle to become an awesome freelance writer.

Then, I finally got to trust him enough to buy his product¬freelance writing course.

My story is exactly the same process people go through before buying a product or service.

The know, like and trust factor works for all forms of business online. Product or service.
And now that I’ve told you the effective marketing strategy to help you promote and grow your business, the next point is how you can build the know, like and trust factor.

How to build the know, like and trust factor

Know: As I mentioned before, businesses are now relationship¬oriented.People don’t buy from strangers. They prefer to buy from people they know to avoid being scammed online.Or taken advantage of.

To get people to know you, you have to become visible. Create awareness by putting valuable content out to get the attention of potential customers. Promote free content related to what your business is all about.

Let me cite an example.

If your product is body cream and lotion, you can offer free useful tips on “3 fruits that will give you a glowing skin”, “5 tips for a healthy skin”.

Or, if you run a traveling agency, you could share on “7 awesome places to go for your next vacation”.
These are just a few. And with this, people will get to know you exist and also know what you are all about.

Did I also mention all these examples fall into content marketing? Creating content related to your product to become visible and attract customers. These content are housed on your website, social media wall, and page.

I was able to know my freelance writing trainer, Walter, exists through the content he shared on his blog. Your content should not be limited to articles. You can share video related content too.

LIKE: To get people to like you, be human. Be yourself.Put a face to your name. Empathize with people and share your own experience, so they can relate with your brand. This is your Unique Selling Point.

But Let me quickly tell you this: Not everyone will like you and what you do.Don’t let it bother you. The idea is not to get everyone to like you. Well, your business is not for everyone. Is it?
Know who your ideal customers are.Your customers are also called buyer persona. Buyers who are attracted to you, what you do and how you do it. To help you picture your buyer persona, you should start with these simple questions:

Are your customers male or female?
What is their age range?
What is their profession?
What is their income?
What are their likes and dislikes?
These questions when answered by you, will help you know and understand your buyer persona. You will also be able to create content that provides a solution for them.

TRUST:
We don’t buy trust. Rather we earn it.In order for people to trust you, they have to know you have their best interest at heart.
Give away free stuff. Valuable and helpful content related to your business. Let it also be something your target audience will benefit from.

Be consistent. If you say you’ll send out newsletter weekly, do so.Don’t break promises as it will affect your credibility.

Seth Godin, author and entrepreneur said,” Making promises and keeping them is a great way to build a brand.”

Your consistent dishing of free and helpful content will endear you to them, to trust you. For then, you’ve appealed to the emotional part of them.

Offer guarantee. There are nothing people like more online than a product with a money back guarantee or a 30-day trial. People love it when they know they’ve got nothing to lose. They won’t be taken advantage of when they make a buying decision online.

Summing it up

Growing your business online isn’t rocket science. It starts with building the know, like and trust factor.
People only transact business with people they share a relationship with. Not strangers. So, the game changer for your online business is creating useful content to provide a solution for ideal customers. It is having their best interest at heart.

It is positioning yourself [Brand] as the product [Body cream] your customer thinks about when she wants to have that glowing skin.
Now, are you ready to grow your online business?
Go get your ideal customers.

Over to you, have you been building the know, like and trust factor for your business?
Use the comment section. Let’s engage.

I use UBA for direct to bank withdrawal and receive my funds in less than 3 hours after initiating the request.

if you're withdrawing for the first time, it might take more time.

Hope this helps.

The law was given to point men to Christ, knowing that it's futile trying to live holy by our own effort.

This post reminds me of what happened today in church.
I was talking to a teen and along the line, I asked her,"Have you given your life to Christ?"
She hesitated before replying. She said,"I still sin."

So her initial hesitation was, she has given her life to Christ but still sins. To her, you need to be sinless before you can say you are now saved.

This is what performance-based preaching aka law preaching has caused: Telling people to be holy by their own effort.
But thank God I explained whose righteousness and holiness we depend on to make us holy. And knowing that it's impossible for the flesh to live holy.

BTW, I love this statement: "Remove condemnation and sin will lose its grip over a sinner.
Happy Sunday, dear Jiggaz. cheesy smiley

I completed and submitted the work today and the milestone has been released by my client.

I received an email from Upwork requesting for my preferred payment method. The payment options available were "direct to local bank", Paypal and Payoneer.
Guys I need advice here, please.

I have a Payoneer account. But the withdrawal charge is high($2 per withdrawal) compared to the withdrawal charge from direct to local bank($0.99 per withdrawal).
Please, what do you guys suggest?
Should I go ahead with Payoneer or use direct to local bank?

Thanks,as I await a response.
