Religion / Re: I Am Praying For The End Of This Wicked World. by jansie(f): 8:57pm On Oct 26, 2014
OP, it is not in our power as believers to condemn the world to judgement. You are called as a believer to reconcile the world to christ, for even God came not to condemn the world but to save. you should rather pray for the wicked ones to have a change of heart and not praying for the condemnation. no one is worth perishing

It's pathetic really that some people can't drop their opinions without first of all making xtupid predictions about what coming posters are likely to post.
Even more pathetic is it that they ususally have no opinions at all or any scrap of advice for the affected person/s if not to stand around and pick apart other people's posts.
I wonder if all that rigmarole on the first page was to prevent out spoken people from posting their candid opinions about the issue.
As usual the F word comes into play for absolutely no reason. I wonder how little minded some people are. Why all these virtuous women won't go and wash all the clothes of all the male relatives in their lineage and stop disturbing us with things like this is beyond me.
Would you blame them. Funnily, those are the types who would use their maids as slave. what denigration!

@topic
the concept of the blood red-moon is one of the biblical concept depicting the SIGNS or NEARNESS of his comings and God's covenant with israel during the passover and the tabernacles. It does not necessarily mean Christ is coming 2015 but that the end is nearer than we think

Family / Re: Childhood Obesity: Who Is To Blame? by jansie(f): 7:10am On Oct 16, 2014
I believe kids should be made to feel comfortable in whatever skin they wear, not the society telling them what's right and what's not. many of these kids is not even what they eat. it's might be genetic or baby fat. my cousin when we were little had baby fat which many would have thought obese but to my greatest surprise, she had become `lepa' after secondary school. mind you, it was'nt exercise

so many of them don't see anything wrong in child abuse, they see it as `training' the child which doesn't yield good result. these kids later grow up with fear, low self esteem and hatred for the society they find themselves and some later turn violent themselves. It's a pity that's the society we find ourselves. i hope your brother has got over it?

That's because parental violence is the norm in this part of our country and many don't seem to give a damn about any form of parental abuse. In Nigeria, parents are always right regardless of what they do or say or how they treat their kids. There's no functional child law here, hence many tend to be silence on parent-child abuse here. i remember during my service year in one very rural village, i was coming out of the gate when i saw a mother with 2 of her children presumably ages 2 and 5. the 5-year old was pushing a very big cart of loads that even someone like me would find difficult to do. Of course, he couldnt push it well. the mother stood at the back beating this young boy, while he was crying and managing to push the cart. meanwhile, she was only carrying her handbag! i could have sworn it wasn't the mother if not because of the resemblance. i went and spoke angrily wit her. she felt ashamed
Family / Re: She Doesn't Wear Her Wedding Ring Cos Her Husband Removed His Own by jansie(f): 6:02am On Sep 29, 2014
How would you take off a wedding ring simply because you feel uncomfortable wearing it? if you see the ring as a mere piece of metal or jewelery, why buy it in the first place? it just stands to show that some don't know that the ring is a vow. it's symbolic and as long as you continue to wear it, it'll always be a reminder of the vow you took for love, commitment and unity. Taking off the ring is just dishonorable and i don't blame the wife for following suit.

Kindeed: i do press up, but it not decreasing ni
sorry, i share in your pain. i believe male bossom is majorly due to accumulation of fat aside genetic disorder. if you're on the `big' side, you can start by shedding off some fat, the slimmer you become, the lesser the bosoms, then practice gyming to firm the tissues. a more lasting and easier solution is to opt for surgery, though it might be expensive and yes there're hospitals here in nigeria capable of handling such. Also watch your diet so it doesn't get bigger. alternatively, you can decide to love and accept yourself just the way you are without any iota of inferiority. all the best

Dont you think that if we say that the spirit of man doesnt die, then that of animals do not die too? Eccl 3:20.
You do now understand the concept of spirit, soul and body, do you? animals are not spirit beings
Religion / Re: Do Spirits Of People Live After They Die? by jansie(f): 10:00pm On Sep 03, 2014
CANTICLES: In luke 23:46 we read " And Jesus called out with a loud voice and said: " Father, into your hands i entrust my spirit" . After he said this, he expired " .... Did jesus meant dat a spirit part of him is nw on its way to heaven as many religions teach ? Not @ all, Notice Dat Jesus Didnt Rise From The Grave Until D Third Day !!! But what he meant is dat d his hope of comin to life once again rests with his father , Only His Father Can Restore Back To Him D Breath Or Force Of Life ( Spirit ) ! Jesus knew dat death is d end , and its dangerous if his father left him in d grave , so he make petitions with tears and cries to d " one who was able to save him out of death" heb 5:7 ! On d third day, he rise ... Its clear dat spirit from d latin word spiritus meaning " breath" is just d force dat power us to be living! But Somone May Ask, What Abt D Soul Or Is It D Same As Soul?
Your analogy is quite laughable and very misleading

Health / Re: Baby Who Had Been "Cured" Of HIV Now Has The Virus Resurfacing by jansie(f): 7:57am On Jul 12, 2014
I think that for the girl to have remained negative for two years without a trace of the virus in her blood is a breakthrough in its experiental discovery but unfortunately, there was a rebound. This shows that the cure is only half-way.According to BBC, gay men are 19 times more likely to contract and pass on the virus than others, especially if bisexual and are therefore advised to go on anti-retrovirals with condom as a preventive measure to combat the spread of this virus.
